1. Kailan ka nagsimulang magsulat ng mga kuwento? Ano ang nagtulak sa'yo na magsulat? 

I actually never dreamed of being a writer. I never envisioned that one day, I would write a book. I am an avid reader. If I could spend the morning, noon, and night reading, I would be in heaven. I am the kind of reader who always thinks of potential twists and turns while reading the stories. Mareklamo rin sa stories na nabasasa minsan but I didn't voice out my negative opinion. Then way back in 2014, I discovered Wattpad and started reading some stories there. There are few stories that left me unsatisfied. There were lots of scenes in my mind that I strongly believe that the stories would be better if they were included but unfortunately it didn't happen. Haha! (This is me as a reader. Alam ko hindi ako nag-iisa) So, instead of complaining, I started to create my own story, then I jotted down all the scenes in my imagination to satisfy myself until I found myself enjoying it and it became a passion. And now, I'm a published author. 

2. Paano mo natuklasan ang Wattpad, at bakit napagdesisyunan mong ilathala ang iyong mga akda rito? 

Way back in 2014, my province was hit by a typhoon, which caused heavy damages across the region. It knocked down electric posts, plunged our province into darkness. So, no communication, no lights, no entertainment for several weeks. We only used generators to charge phones. My cousin sent me soft copies of some stories. She told me those are from Wattpad. When the internet connection was back, I immediately downloaded the Wattpad app and signed up and the rest is history. 

-- Wattpad is the best platform to directly connect with readers and the immediate feedback from the readers is one of my favorite things about Wattpad. It could help improve my writing skills. Not to mention that Wattpad is filled with opportunities. 

3. Sino ang iyong paboritong manunulat, at bakit? 

Martha Cecilia. I love her writing a lot. Her novel's narratives were handled with astonishing sophistication. 

4. May paborito ka bang manunulat o kuwento sa Wattpad? Sino o ano ito, at bakit? 

Wala akong masasabing pinakapaborito pero maraming manunulat na masasabi kong magagaling talaga, like Akane, Maki, CC, Race and new to my list is Waranj. 

5. Maaari mo bang ibahagi sa amin kung tungkol saan ang iyong kuwento, at gaano katagal mo nang isinusulat ito? 

I am currently writing Colors of Passion 3: Taint Me. It's about a relationship between two people with a considerable age difference. Sinimulan ko itong isulat mga December at hanggang ngayon, di ko pa tapos. I need to temporarily stop writing this to finish my other writing project and I hope by next month, matuloy ko na ito. 

6. May maipapayo ka ba sa mga bagong manunulat? 

I want to tell new writers that don't fixate on gaining a lot of readers or on getting published. That's not what you should worry about. Don't let it stop you from sitting down at your desk and doing the work on a daily basis. Writing is such a process. Writing is hard work. If you want to be a successful writer, you have to invest time, labor, and faith in it. Stay focused on your literary practice. Don't stop improving your writing skills. 

7. Ano ang mga major writing goals mo ngayong 2021? 

To at least finish one more story of the Fatal Attraction series. It's been a while since I finished the third book. Then I hope I will be able to edit my old stories and get them published. Lastly, I want to self-pub again pero mukhang malabo talaga ito. 

8. Para sa iyo, gaano kaimportante ang title ng libro? 

A title is a story's first impression because it gives readers a hint of the plot. Title is the first thing that the readers see, so it should be strong and intriguing that it can draw readers attention and encourage them to read the entire book. Me, as a reader, the title of the book encourages me to read further. And it plays into my book buying decision. 

9. May ginagawa ka bang bagong kwento na gusto mong ibahagi sa iyong mga readers? 

Yes, I have and I'm so excited to share it with them. This is a paranormal story, and this is my first time to write in this kind of genre. I've been writing it for 3 months offline, and now I'm in the editing process. This is a project collaboration with my co-Wattpad star. 

10. Paano ka pumipili ng mga pangalan ng iyong mga karakter? 

I don't put too much effort into this. Sometimes sa Google, minsan naman nag-e-effort ako if I want their names to sound unique. Ginagawa kong theme minsan, like angels, birds, colors, and gems. Sa mga heroine ko, madalas na ginagamit ko name ng mga readers ko na nangangarap matikman ang pagmamahal ng fictional characters. Haha! 

11. Kung isusuko mo ang isang bagay na mahalaga sa iyo para mahasa pa ang iyong galing sa pagsusulat, ano ito at bakit? 

Haha! Wait, bakit natatawa ako na naiisip ko. Of course my family is very important to me, but I can't give up on them, right? No one would do that. Pero may bagay na mahalaga sa akin, as in mahalaga siya kasi feeling ko naka-depende rito ang sanity ko. I can spend days without a phone, without internet and television but not without it-- Iyong kulambo ko sa paa. I can't sleep without it being wrapped around my feet. As in hindi ako nakakatulog hanggang umaga. Kahit nagsusulat ako, nakapulupot ito sa paa ko. Kahit nasa bus ako, biyaheng malayo ay nasa paa ko 'to. As in ganito kalala. So, baka pwede ko siyang i-give up for a week. Huhu! Wait, parang walang sense yung sagot ko rito. Ano ang konek sa writing nito. 

Wala akong maisip na iba, because honestly, writing is one of the most important things in my life right now. Parang isa siya sa top priority ko. But I will do everything to ameliorate my writing skills. As in, I want to learn more.
