Why The Elite Is Becoming Irrelevant To Me, Personally

Alright, welcome back guys and guys with no dicks. So, I just found out that Hangman Page, the Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, and almost every member of The Elite had resigned with AEW and I want to give out my thoughts on this thing and what better way than to do it right now?

I've been watching them since the very first episode of AEW: Dynamite in 2019 I was very entertained with Cody and the others being almost like a focal point for the show. It's kinda ironic how it went from being the most hyped show to being a whole bunch of clusterfuck.

What I mean is simply, it looked like to me that The Elite are starting to let their egos go to their heads. Ever since the Brawl Out with CM Punk from All Out in 2022, I've been straying away from them to focus on many other wrestlers a lot more. Hell, even Cody admitted to feeling distanced from them after a good while before his departure from the company back in January the same year, which wasn't a surprise due to the fact that they would start to let the success define their characters instead of their careers.

And speaking of CM Punk, I'm not agreeing nor am I siding with him, I'm just putting out my perspective on this situation rather than start arguments because last time I checked, starting arguments with somebody solves nothing and it's just gonna make things worse as I'm gonna leave it at that before I piss someone off with this statement.

Also, I'm not an AEW hater, but I have to admit that when a wrestler starts having success in a company, that's when I can feel happy for them and give them my support. However, when they start to abuse their power as an authority figure backstage and keep the other talent down from winning the titles that other people deserve, that's when I start to have a problem. It's your job to put talent over and let them have the spotlight, and isn't that supposed to matter?

They're EVPs of AEW and to see them get more attention than, I don't know, Dark Order, the women's division, new talent like a prodigy named Nick Wayne, is just absolutely asinine and I really think that this is the start of The Elite not being relevant to me anymore.

I liked them when the very first episode of Dynamite hit the TNT channel when NXT was going to war with AEW at the time, but over time, that's when I started to not care for them.

If anyone starts to have a problem with me saying this, just know that this are my thoughts on the matter, rather than shitting on them. It's something that I had to get off my chest and just get it out there.

Also, the only member of The Elite that I like Hangman Page, simply because it seems that he doesn't let the success go to his head and is just so humble that I don't even know if he would want to be around the Buckaroos (Jim Cornette TM), Kenny Omega, and the rest of the gang.

So, yeah, I think that's it because I wanted to share my thoughts about this and if you enjoyed this, be sure to slap the vote button before your partner/spouse slaps you. Be sure to follow me and there's a chance I might follow you back.

I wanna say sorry for the short one, I just had to get this out there and try to make this unbiased and honest as possible. I really don't want this to sound like I'm coming out of nowhere with a temper tantrum or some shit. Just please excuse anything that sounds like I'm hating The Elite as I really needed to write this down before I lose my mind.

And, yeah, I'll see you guys later.

I'm out.
