How WWE Botched Sarray's Run
Although this is at, like, 4 in the morning, I'll do it right now just because I can't give a fuck less.
Alright, so welcome back guys and guys with no dicks. So wrestling is a full on contact sport, it's about storytelling, personal rivalries, and how to make it interesting.
Sometimes it's not the best, sometimes it's not the worst, but we try to enjoy wrestling as a whole, except the part where there are times where signing a wrestler doesn't always mean it's going to be good, which leads us to the recent news of Sarree, known as Sarray in WWE, was leaving the company to go back in Japan.
Now, I would say that I'm not gonna be one of those fans who thought she deserved better and open up the suitcase, but I might as well forget about it and throw it out the fucking window because when the company signs a new wrestler and they do nothing with that wrestler, that's when I get annoyed and I have to talk about it.
So Sarray, we all know her and I even have a fanfic of her featured in it called "Warriors of The Sun" (be on the look out for a remake in the near future), and now that she's leaving to go back to Japan, I'm a bit pissed off that WWE didn't do much with her.
I mean, she was mentored by the late great Antonio Inoki himself!
If WWE knew how much of a big deal she was, they would've booked her as a badass and pushing her towards the NXT Women's Championship, but no, they casted her aside for the other women like Mandy Rose among others.
If Sarray was released in 2021 due to "budget cuts", I'm pretty sure there would've been an outrage because she seems like the kind of girl you'd want to take home to the parents.
Okay, I went a little bit of side rant here and I apologize, but without any more blabbering, let's see the trailer for Sarray's arrival in WWE back in April 2021.

It showed the picture of her accomplishments and her picture of spending time with Inoki. How did any of this not matter?
What the fuck were you trying to accomplish by making her a big deal and then do nothing with her?! That's patronizing and condescending to everyone who watch your product! I mean, I'd put $50 on the table and a handjob underneath it that they probably knew how valuable she was and decided to not book her as much because they knew how popular she'd get with the fans.
I just love not seeing new wrestlers not being featured for months because I just know it's GGs from there. I mean, it's gotta be a pattern with the company that when they sign someone who was a big deal in the indies or in Japan, they'd rather make us forget he/she was and not book them properly.
IT'S LIKE A MAKE-A-WISH KID, IT NEVER GETS OLD!
Then a couple of weeks later, after being booked as a dominant wrestler, Sarray was featured on NXT's YouTube show, What's NeXT?, hosted by Sarah Shreiber and Alicia Tout and on that episode, not only was she adorable, the hosts were genuine and were so patient because of her lack of English speaking skills, which I can appreciate.
If you don't believe me, here's the episode:

You see this face?

That's the face that should've won the title from Mandy Rose instead of Roxanne Perez. I mean, I have nothing against Perez, but if you got someone who never won a title after a year with NXT, then you gotta capitalize on it.
It's like the company doesn't even want to try to have her look good, especially with her status being the former protege of Inoki himself and with this smile alone...

...that is so infectious, I bet whenever she walks in a room, not only does she command respect, Sarray also makes anyone's day a little bit better if they're going through a bad time or some shit.
I mean, the way she talked to Shreiber and Tout, she is an absolute sweetheart and such a cutie, I don't know why there are enough fans telling WWE to keep her on their screens and feature her more!
And people saying that their signing didn't age well is asinine to me. I mean, I'm not either a WWE or AEW hater, but I know that when you have a wrestler that wasn't used much, then it's safe to say that the accolades they made before WWE didn't matter.
After her appearance on the show, Sarray would be booked a couple more wins but after that, she would lose to Dakota Kai for no reason. Like, she might've been in a feud at the time, but why Sarray when it could be anyone else, like, I don't know, a jobber?
A jobber would've made more sense, but Sarray?
Why have her take the loss and many more to come?
At this point, WWE probably don't know how to book Japanese wrestlers in NXT anymore. I have a feeling Shawn Michaels isn't even trying after it's been taken back by HHH and then rebranded, especially when he's bringing back so many wrestlers WWE released the past few years.
It's complete bullshit.
I think I'm gonna wrap it up here, just for my own sanity because I really don't want to go on about all this, but I'll leave it with this: WWE has to up their game when they sign new talent or it's gonna bite them in the ass sooner than later.
