Today Flukey was on his way to Andersens's office to receive an assignment and at this point, he was willing to take anything if it'd keep him and his Nikkes away from the Ark for a while. 

When he made it to Andersen's Office, he was standing with his usual somber expression.

Flukey: Andersen. Good to see you again. How ya been?

Andersen: I've been alright. Though the same can't be said for Syuen. No one's been able to contact her. You wouldn't have anything to do with this would you?

Flukey: Would you believe me if I said it was self-defense on my part?

Andersen: Depends on what was said.

Flukey: Okay. To make a long story, yesterday Syuen came to the Outpost and berated me about selling her out which I technically did but also didn't. Then she started to threaten me and my Nikkes and that's when I gave her the harsh reality that she only reason she's still a CEO is because the Central Governemt hasn't found a replacement yet but once they do she'll be tossed out as soon as she got in.

Andersen had mildly surprised look on his face but he shouldn't be too surprised.

One can only take so much before they reach a breaking point.

Andersen: I see. Well here's hoping she'll come out of it. As much of a pain as she is, her intelligence is damn near unbeatable. Anyways with your ban lifted I'm sure you're eager to get back to work. 

Flukey: Very. Hell I'll even take one of the harder missions. 

Andersen: That won't be necessary. However I do have a mission for you or rather a personal favor. 

Flukey: After what you did for me back at the trial, a personal favor is the least I can do for you. 

Andersen: Glad you agree. I need you to go up to the surface and go north. 

Flukey: The north? Not that I'm saying no but for what reason if I may ask. 

Andersen: You said that a Nikke nearly managed to take down the Chatterbox you came across. Well, that same Nikke was spotted in the north. Go and see if she knows anything about it's whereabouts. 

Flukey: Why do I feel like you've got a pretty good idea of who or what exactly that Nikke was? 

Andersen: Heh. If you must know, that Nikke is referred to as Pilgrim as well as a few others. They are Nikkes that live up on the surface. No much is known about them other than they live above ground as we've never had any official contact with them. Not to mention they're quite elusive and impossible to track. 

Flukey: I see. And how exactly am I supposed to find this Nikke? 

Andersen: I thought you might ask that. Don't worry. There's a research base in the frozen north. I've already sent the coordinates to Shifty. Once you arrive, our staff at the research base will provide additional assistance. Understood?

Flukey: Understood.

Andersen: Alright then. We're done here. I've got a meeting coming up. Ah, yes. Rapi's report showed that you exhibited impressive reflexes against Chatterbox. And that he said that he sensed something "powerful" within you. 

Flukey: Yeah. I didn't want it in the report because I chalked it up to Chatterbox talking out of his ass, but I can't deny that my reflexes were much more heightened in that moment. And the academy never took physical fitness into consideration. 

Andersen: Well it's best not to dwell on it for now. Though, if you do experience any more changes do let me know. Better for me to find out than the Central Government. Now, off you go. Bring me back some good news. 

With that, Flukey left Andersen's office and went back to the Outpost to let his Nikkes know of what was going on. 

Rapi: So we're the only ones being assigned to this mission? 

Anis: It's better this way. Otherwise we'd have to watch what we say. 

Rapi: Yes. 

Anis: So we're heading for the research base in the north right? 

Flukey: Right but it'll be me, you, Rapi, and Neon. Yuni and Mihara are staying here to look after the Outpost. I hope that's not an issue. 

Mihara: Not at all Commander. If it's for you I'd gladly protect the Outpost with my life. 

Yuni: Me too. Although I'd like a reward for protecting the Outpost when you come back~.

Flukey: *Smiles* Of course. I'll make sure you girls are rewarded greatly for your service.

Yuni: You better~.

With that, Yuni and Mihara left and went back to their posts.

Anis: Well that's good an all but last I checked that place is completely inaccessible without a pass. 

Flukey: Huh. Andersen didn't run that part by me....

Rapi: Although it is a research base, it's protected by armed forces, and lots of them. 

Anis: One false move and that's all the wrote. Even with our luck so far. 

Rapi: And from what you said earlier Commander, does this mean Andersen didn't give you a pass or anything? 

Flukey: Nope and he's at a meeting so we might have to find another way somehow. 

Just then, a voice was heard.

???: Non. Non non non, that won't be necessary. 

Neon: What's going on? What's that light up ahead?

Yuni: Mihara, who is that? 

Mihara: I haven't the foggiest Yuni.

Flukey: Wait a minute....that voice.....

Anis: Hey, that's a disco ball. Don't tell me....

Flukey quickly turned and his eyes widened at seeing another figure close to him in his life....the CEO of Tetra Line....Mustang.

(Just gonna throw this out there I suck at French so I'm gonna have Mustang talk normally though I will add some French words here and there)

Flukey: *Excited* Mustang!

Flukey gave Mustang a hug and a very strong one at that as Mustang bared it, despite how hard he was being squeezed but luckily Flukey let go before he might've broken something. 

Anis: Hey boss....

Mustang: I-It's nice to see you too Flukey. And to you too my dear Anis. I'm so happy to see that you're now under the command of Flukey here. Your last Commander was a rather....unsavory. 

Anis: Tell me about it. But it's all good now. The Commander here sure is different from all the others and I'm all for it. 

Neon: Me too! Master really is the best! He even gives hugs! 

Mustang chuckled. 

Mustang: I'm sure. But as much as I'd love to continue our talk, I'm here to help you gain access to the research base. 

Flukey: Oh that's good. And knowing you it's something very glamorous. 

Mustang: Indeed it is. Now...here's what you need to do.

Mustang went on to show the way to get into the base in the form of a dance. Upon seeing this, it was decided that Flukey would be the one to do the dance and once they got everything they needed Flukey, Rapi, Anis, and Neon set off.
