Inside the power station....

Rapi: Rapture spotted up ahead. 

Anis: They're acting like they own the place. What are they doing down here? 

Neon: What are they up to?

Flukey: My guess is they're here scavenging for power just like we are. Either that or they're the reason power station's still up and running. 

This surprised the girls. 

Anis: What?! How do Raptures know how to use human artifacts?

Rapi: Anis, look. They're operating it. 

Anis: This can't be real. 

Neon: Has anything like this ever happened before? 

Shifty: Not that we know of.

Rapi: Commander, I suggest we return to the Ark. We've completed our investigation. 

Flukey: Yeah. We've done all we can here. Let's go home. 

Rapi: Yes, Commander. Shifty, confirm the escape route. 

Shifty: On it. 

As Shifty did her thing, Flukey looked in the corner of his eye and saw a Rapture with its blaster aimed at Rapi's head. 

His eyes widened and he charged at Rapi. 

This sudden action surprised her along with Anis and Neon as he charged and tackled Rapi to the ground, successfully avoiding the Rapture's blast. 

It was then that they realized what had just happened: 

Flukey, a Commander and a human, just saved Rapi, a Nikke and what many would consider to be expendable. 

Even Rapi, usually the stoic and serious type, was taken aback by Flukey saving her but then other Raptures started firing at them. 

Anis: Damn it we're exposed! 

Neon: Returning firepower! 

Neon fired back and so did Anis. Flukey quickly got off of Rapi and helped her up for her to return fire back to the Raptures. 

Flukey: Shifty! We need that escape route now!

Shifty: Uploading it on the map! 

After a few seconds, the escape route appeared on the map. 

Flukey: I got the escape route! Rapi! Anis! Neon! Follow me and keep the Raptures surpressed!

Rapi/Anis/Neon: Yes Commander/Master!

The girls continued to fire back at the Raptures while following Flukey.

The route led them to a cargo lift. 

With no other choice, they got on the cargo lift and got it moving at maximum speed. At this point, a large Rapture appeared....Grave Digger.

Anis: Ah what the hell is that?! 

Neon: It looks like some sort of drill Rapture....

Flukey: Whatever it is it's trying to bring down the station and us with it! Destroy it!

As Flukey kept the cargo lift on course, his Nikkes fired at the Grave Digger as it tried to destroy the lift and kill them in the process. 

It was a hard-fought battle and in the end, Counters had successfully destroyed Grave Digger but they suffered some damage though Rapi got the worst of it and was unable to continue fighting. 

Anis: Good! We lost them! 

Neon: I didn't think we were gonna make it for a second. 

Anis and Neon had parts of their clothes torn and a few scrapes but Rapi, while also having scrapes, also was suffering from a heavily damaged leg.

Flukey: Shifty, how much further is the exit? 

Shifty: You're almost there! You're going to have to run from here! Watch out for any large-scale Raptures along the way!

Flukey: Roger that! Rapi, give me your hand!

Flukey reached his hand out for Rapi to grab and when she did, he lifted her up to lean on him. Due to Rapi's mechanical body, she was heavy for Flukey but he managed it as best he could. 

Flukey: Anis! Neon! Give me and Rapi cover fire! 

Anis: Got it Commander!

Neon: You got it Master!

With that, Flukey ran while carrying Rapi with Anis and Neon providing cover as they made their way all the way back to the Ark. 

Flukey knew he'd be punished for failing the mission but he didn't care about that. 

He just wanted his Nikkes to be okay. 

He failed to do anything for Marian, and he wasn't going to fail again. 

Not if he can help it.
