"We can't..." He sighed. "I'm too busy, and she's busy too...she's got so much studies."

"Obviously she takes breaks, Mark." She said. "You probably don't have her number, do you?"

"I...yeah." He sighed. "I couldn't keep in contact when she changed her number...do you have it?"

"Of course. I talk to her everyday...unlike you." She chuckled.

"Send it to me, will you?" He asked.

"Yeah. I'll hang up now~" She cooed. "Bye~"

"Bye, mom~" He replied and hung up.

A few seconds later, he got a message from his mom, and he opened it to find Tiffany's number.

He looked at the clock, wondering if it will be the right time to call her since it was late at night back where she lived, Houston. Her parents and younger brother lived in Canada. She was attending her college in houston.

"Just do it." He muttered to himself, as he pressed the call button.

The phone rang and it got transferred to voicemail.

He cleared his throat nervously before he spoke up, "Hey, dude, guess who? It's me, Mark...um, it's been a WHILE but uh...I finally got your number, and erm...I wanted to...you know, like...catch up...whenever you're free...so uh, call me whenever you can, haha...bye for now, and don't overwork yo."

The loud ass alarm rang, making Tiffany jolt up from her short nap.

She squinted her eyes, looking at the thick biology books kept in front of her, a notebook and different coloured highlighters. She grabbed her phone, still sleepy. She didn't get enough sleep for 3 days, preparing for a big test.

"Here you go, some coffee." Alex, her roommate, handed her a cup of coffee, making her smile.

"Mm, thanks." Tiffany smiled.

She took a sip, unlocking her phone to see a missed call and a voicemail from an unknown number. She grabbed her airpods since she didn't want to disturb Alex who just went to sleep.

After putting in her airpods, she played the voicemail, her face lighting up with a wide smile instantly.

"Hey, dude, guess who? It's me Mark...um, it's been a WHILE but uh...I finally got your number, and erm...I wanted to...you know, like...catch up...whenever you're free...so uh, call me whenever you can, haha...bye for now, and don't overwork yo."

She clicked her tongue, trying so hard not to squeal, and chuckled, "Idiot."

She saved his number, and decided to text him.
