6 MONTHS LATER

Taehyung and Seokjin finished moving into their new apartment. They decided to go back to Daegu since that is their childhood home. Daegu is a special place for them and they want their children to grow up here as well.

They finished moving in and they're not sitting in their couch in their living room. Taehyung abruptly gets up and gets his car keys.

"Where are you going?" Jin asks.

"Let's go. We're going somewhere." Taehyung replies.

He takes Jin's hand and walks him out to their car. They get in and Taehyung drives off.

After some time, Taehyung and Seokjin end up in a small park. Since it's April, the middle of the spring season,the park is surrounded with bright pink cherry blossom trees. The petals flying in the air from the wind.

A set of swings is under the biggest tree. They go up to it and Taehyung gets happy as he sees the swings are dry. It was just raining a few hours ago.

He smiles and brings Seokjin over. He sits on one of the swings and motions for Seokjin to sit on the other.

Seokjin sits and smiles. He remembers this place.

"Do you remember Jin?" Taehyung asks.

Seokjin nods, "I do."

They would always go to this park when they were younger. They were the only kids from their neighborhood who knew of it's existence.They found it one day when they were out riding their bicycles. They would always come back whenever they had the chance.

Seokjin smiles as some wind causes the petals from the tree to fall. He catches some on his palms and proceeds to throw them at Taehyung.

Taehyung smirks and throws a pile from the ground at him. Seokjin gasps and a fight breaks loose. The two continued to throw petals from the ground at eachother.

"Do you know why I brought you here?" Taehyung asks.

Seokjin shakes his head. He doesn't know the exact reason as to why.

Taehyung smiles, "It's so that we can make another carving on the tree."

Seokjin opens his mouth as he remembers what tree he is taking about. They get up from the swings and walk to an old oak tree that was hidden in the far corner of the park.

They walk and smile as they see the last carving they made. Before Seokjin had left, him and Taehyung came to this tree and carved their initials onto it.

Taehyung lets go of Seokjin's hand and takes out a knife from his pocket. Seokjin widens his eyes wondering how he didn't see it before.

Taehyung chuckles and begins carving a heart under their names. He finishes his heart and hands the knife to Seokjin who repeats the same.

They step back and look at the carvings. When they last came, they carved their names onto the tree and promised to come back and carve a heart under each of their names to show that their friendship was still intact.

They swipe their fingers onto their carved names. They smile as the sweet memory comes back into their minds and it makes them feel like it was just yesterday when they last came.

They subconsciously turn to eackother and hold each other's hands. They put their foreheads together and look into eachothers eyes.

"I, Kim Taehyung will forever be with you Kim Seokjin."

"I, Kim Seokjin will forever be with you, Kim Taehyung."

"Forever and always." they say at the same time.

They smile at eachother and lean closer to each other as their lips touch. Taehyung pulls Seokjin tighter and hugs his waist. Seokjin puts his hands around Taehyung's neck as they kiss.

As the wind blows and the cherry blossom petals fly out into the air. Their love was once shared under this very tree, and they came back once again, years later. To show how true love does exist, and no matter the obstacles they face, love will always find a way.

Kim Taehyung and Kim Seokjin didn't know if they were ever going to reunite again. Promises were made, and they tried all ways to be together once again. They did, and now they are the happiest they have ever been.

As Kim Seokjin once said, many years ago. On a night in which they were together, before they were separated. "No matter the distance or the obstacles, I will always find a way and I will be coming back to you."
