Georgia Henneberry: Cecelia, congratulations on such an amazing result. P7 is one to be proud of.

Cecelia Rosenqvist: Thanks. I think it could have gone better, especially in the second stint with the tire wear, but I did the best with what I had.

GH: You had some great moments on track, including a few impressive overtakes. Could you walk us through some of those key moments?

CR: Yeah, um, the first overtake at Turns 3 and 4 was probably my favorite. I saw the driver ahead make a small mistake, and I just went for it. It's one of those moments where you don't think too much, you just react, and luckily, it worked out. I felt like I was in the zone a little bit after that.

GH: There was quite a close call in the pit lane. You nearly got hit by Caio Collet coming in. Can you tell us what was going through your mind in that moment?

CR: Yeah, that was definitely a bit of a heart-stopper. I didn't see the car coming until the last second, and it was closer than I would've liked. But my team was great, they kept things calm, and the stop itself was clean, so we just moved on. But yeah, it was a little scary.

GH: You've spoken before about how important this comeback has been for you. Obviously it's been a long and difficult journey since your accident with James Dunn and David Malukas in 2021. How does it feel emotionally to be back, especially after everything that's happened?

CR: Uh yeah, it's definitely been a journey. But, um, I try not to think about all of that too much while I'm in the car. I'm just focused on the race and doing my best. I don't really want to dwell on it right now.

GH: I completely understand, Cecelia. My final question: how does it feel knowing this was your first race back, with such a solid result? What are your plans going forward?

CR: It's a good start, but there's a lot to build on. I'm still trying to find my rhythm, and I know there's work to do to get back to where I know I can be. But it feels really good. Hopefully, I'll have an update on next year soon.

GH: Well, congratulations again. I know I'm not the only one who's glad to see you back on track.
