15 years old

The two boys lay out on Tyler's big trampoline placed in his backyard. They placed down a white fuzzy blanket. The yellow summer sun shone down on them, Tyler's face more freckled than usual.

Josh noticed how his eyes seemed to glow in the sunlight. He snuck a glance at the boy who was pointing out a lion in the clouds. Josh couldn't believe how adorable and innocent Tyler still was at 15.

"Joshie?"

"Yeah, T?"

"Are you even listening to me?"

Josh chuckled, knowing Tyler had caught him wrapped up in his thoughts.

"No, sorry."

"What're you thinking about?"

"How much I love you."

"Oh, shut up," Tyler rolled his eyes even though Josh watched the color flush in his cheeks.

"I'm serious," Josh admitted.

"You should be thinking about how that cloud looks like a hummingbird."

"Right, sorry," Josh smirked, turning his head toward the sky but sneaking glances at the brunette out of the corner of his eye.

"Do you see that castle?"

"Uh huh," Josh agreed, even though he had no idea which cloud Tyler was looking at.

"No you don't."

They shared a laugh. Josh suddenly rolled over on top of Tyler, pinning the boy under him.

"Josh! What are you doing?!"

"Covering you with kisses," Josh explained as his lips pressed to Tyler's temple.

He trailed quick kisses all over the boy's face as he listened to his joyous laughter fill the air around them. His lips traveled from his face down his neck, then down one arm until he got to Tyler's fingertips. He kissed every finger before moving on to the other hand. Then he kissed back up Tyler's arm until he reached his face again.

"What was that for?" Tyler asked, cheeks hot and red.

"Because I love you."

Tyler let out a giggle as Josh placed a final kiss against his lips. He returned it, hands snaking their way around Josh's neck. Josh rested his hands besides both sides of Tyler's head, holding himself up.

"I love you too," Tyler mumbled against his lips, heart fluttering in his chest.

"I love you more, that's why I just gave you so many kisses."

"Ugh, you're annoying!" Tyler complained, rolling out from under Josh.

The taller boy grinned at his boyfriend. He grabbed his hands and helped him stand. They began to jump together, hands still connected.

"I'm gonna double bounce you!" Josh announced.

"No! Im scared I'll hurt my ankle!" Tyler argued. The last time they tried, Tyler had landed on his ankle wrong and twisted it. He was embarrassed to have cried in front of Josh.

"You'll be okay, T! I got you, I promise."

"No!"

"One, two-"

"No Josh!"

"Three!" Josh yelled, stomping his feet down against the trampoline as Tyler flew high.

A high-pitched squeal left Tyler's lips as he landed back on the trampoline on his butt.

"Josh! I told you no!" Tyler huffed, glaring at his lap.

"But did you get hurt? Did you die?"

Tyler didn't answer, only shot daggers at his lap.

"T, I'm sorry."

No answer.

Josh smiled when a lightbulb went off in his head. He slowly kneeled down in front of Tyler. In one swift motion, he pushed the boy on his back and began attacking his face with kisses.

"Josh!" Tyler laughed, trying to push to heavy boy away from him.

The mixture of the sound of Josh's lips pecking Tyler's skin and Tyler's happy giggles seemed to make the sun shine brighter. The brunette considered that the world was just as happy as he was.

Josh's lips finally left the boy's freckled cheeks. Josh pulled him against his chest in a tight hug, which Tyler melted into. They were both sweaty and sticky, but were too in love to care.

"I'm glad you're mine," Josh said.

"Me too," Tyler agreed.

"I think even the universe is happy we're together."

Tyler gasped and looked up at Josh, eyes wide. "You think so too?!"

Josh gave Tyler a toothy grin as he vigorously nodded his head.

"We're soulmates," Tyler concluded. "It's obvious."

"I agree," Josh said, placing another kiss on top of Tyler's head.

"You kiss me a lot."

"Is that bad?"

"No, it makes me feel good."

"Well good," Josh said as he placed another gentle kiss on the boy's temple.

"I'm hot, can we go inside where it's air conditioned?"

"Only if we can cuddle up under the blankets."

"Duh?" Tyler made a face as if it was an obvious answer.

"Alright then, lets go inside."

"Okay, but give me another kiss first."

Josh kissed Tyler again, smiling against the boy's soft lips. He liked making Tyler feel wanted.
