Prologue: Welcome Home

"When I was younger I could remember anything, whether it had happened or not;

but soon I shall be so I cannot remember any but the things that have happened."

The wonders of imagination! In a world where art, music, acting, and talent comes to its highest peak - a young man, full of hopes and determination, opens up his new workshop: Joey Drew Studios.

Just as his studio holds his name proud and clear, Joey Drew was a young lad with fierce love to raw talent. Most of his life, he would draw and study, trying to fulfill his dream of entering the University of advanced art and science. It all started ages ago, truly. But unsurprisingly, it all seemed like it was yesterday for Joey. All in all, now Mr. Drew walked high and tall, as he finally opened up a small Animation Studio for cartoons and music.

But Alas, it's not as easy as it may seem - Joey needed recruits; employees who will work hard to create a huge group of animated pictures. And Being in the 1950's, it ain't so easy to gain the justifying attention from respectable artists by just drawing silly pictures for kids; oh no, it needed far more work than people anticipate.

But Joey Drew always had a solution.

Soon enough, the man collected a small group of people whom he trusted; some of them were his old colleagues from University, some were beginners who agreed to work happily under a small payment, and some more magnificent artist with colorful portfolios who would make any Studio Manager stumble on his feet. The crew was small, but slowly it grew bigger.

(Y/n)(Y/n) - one of the first animators to work in Joey Drew Studios. She practically knows this place better than her own house. Miss (L/n) is a perfect image of what a respectable artist should be; a young lady in her 26 with a shy look, never too morose, but rather gentle and comforting. She even managed to become the ringleader of animators due to the success of her own mascot - Bendy the Dancing Demon. The creator of the adorable sweet toon, with a gleeful smile and pointy horns. Because of the Lady, Bendy became the star of Joey Drew Studio.

⦁ Then, we have our good old friend - Henry. A quiet type, but a trustworthy man with a hardworking mind. He knew Joey since they studied together in University, several years ago. Henry wanted to be an Art Teacher, but being like a brother to Joey, Drew couldn't let Henry waste his talent on some pathetic art schools. Thus Henry works now as a cartoonist with (Y/n).

Samuel Lawrence - (or also known as Sammy Jammy) a handsome, energetic yet grumpy fella with passionate love to music. Head of the orchestra, director of the Music department. His great talent to Jazz and writing new songs made him an important member in the Studio, creating new tunes for the Dancing Demon. But Sammy's difficult behavior made it hard for anyone to work with him, but he didn't need to know that.

Norman Polk - rough man, yet strong and helping. Fitting his job as a projectionist, Norman tends to seek out dark places and avoid drawing attention to himself. This man stays in the Music department, controlling the projector reels while the band is swinging. For this Studio, his all ears and eyes - but when he has a job to do, he won't take a break till he finishes it.

Susie Campbell - Ah, yes, Campbell, a voice actress who gave vocals to different characters in the show - talking chairs, dancing chickens, you name it. (Y/n) would describe her make-up as war paint. She used her sexuality like a weapon. Susie was a woman of great fashion, She used it as part of her self-expression and she was lost without it. Lately, Campbell was starting to voice a new 'indeterminate' character known as "Alice Angel"

Thomas Connor - a repairman, with a bad habit of throwing silly puns. Tom was recruited by Joey Drew, requesting him to handle the new machine that he was installing within the workshop - the Ink Machine. It's still in development and seems completely harmless, so no complaining from Connor boy. Although he has no participation in art, music or voice-acting, (Y/n) noticed how he got fond of the secondary character: Boris The Wolf.

⦁ And how could we forget our dear pal - Wally "I'm outta here" Franks. He's the spirit of every party! Though Wally comes across as an "average Joe" - he worked as a janitor in Joey Drew Studios. He's a regular working lad whose only real concern at the studio is getting his work done. But he's true potential was motivating and befriending every employee with his goofy charisma. But still, the crew appreciated him nonetheless.

The Crew is particularly small, and not much intriguing for a successful working studio, but it certainly had a peaceful and reassuring atmosphere around it. Slowly and shortly Joey would invent new things and more employees would join the family. For many years, those talented young people will work together bringing life to a mesmerizing world of cartoons - for Miss (L/n)'s Little Devil Darling.

Or at least, these people won't be going anywhere for a long time...

ATTENTION : Art and wallpaper by me - S-a. The story is still in development.

This is a story about The Crew, focusing on (Y/n) and her relationship with the employees. It'll be just bunch of character arcs, and I'm still not sure who to ship the Reader with. Anywho, I hope you'll like it. More characters will come in the future ;)
