The flight was quick for Eifad, as she spent it reading business magazines or looking out through the window. Mr. Saxena on the other hand was fidgeting like an over-excited kid and had gala time exploring the business class.

Eifad stepped out of the cab and looked up at the hotel they were to stay for the two-day conference, Sheraton.

Eifad and Mr. Saxena met up with Dr. Imran and Dr. Kiran at the hotel's lobby. They had come by the same flight albeit in economy class.

Kiran, as expected, was over whelmed on seeing Eifad. She gushed happily how much she is excited. Eifad smiled at her, genuinely. Imran on the other hand still looked timid in front of her.

While Mr. Saxena, Imran and Kiran waited in the queue for check in, Eifad had it quick as she was staying in the VIP suite.

Eifad entered her suite, kicked off her heels and slumped on her bed. She massaged her forehead feeling tired.

Eifad: Reached the hotel. Off to sleep.

She texted Farhan and got his reply instantly

Farhan: Cool. All the best for the conference.

Eifad smiled and replied: Thanks.

She typed, I miss you, but thought it to be sounding like a despo and so erased that part. As she removed her Tee over her head she got Farhan's message

Farhan: I am missing you

Eifad smiled shaking her head and she typed, 'Let me sleep, bye.'

Farhan: Bye

Eifad then texted Aisha and after getting a reply from her, she kept her phone on silent. She then removed her pants and snuggled into the bed choosing to be in only her black bra and knickers. She wrapped the duvet over her and closed her eyes, within minutes she fell asleep.

After good three hours sleep and a refreshing one-hour bubble bath, Eifad felt all her tiredness fade away. Thanks to her steamy night with Farhan she couldn't sleep last night and this morning her body felt very tired. But now, Eifad felt rejuvenated.

Around 6 pm, Eifad, Kiran, Mr. Saxena and Imran sat in a coffee shop inside the hotel. Imran who usually is quiet today was happily chatting with Kiran and Mr. Saxena. The Kiran effect, Eifad thought.

Eifad was the only one who was quiet, she kept scrolling on her phone drinking her black coffee.

'Maam, tomorrow the Introductory event around 10 am.' Mr. Saxena's voice caught Eifad's attention. She looked up from her phone, she nodded, 'Yes.'

Eifad went back to checking her phone when everyone got into discussing irrelevant topics like shopping.

'Miss. Eifad Hooda.' Eifad looked up hearing her name being called out in a heavy American accent. She smiled recognizing Dr. James Mathew one of the Senior Heart Surgeon from the US.

'Hello, sir!' Eifad stood up, they shook hands. Kiran, Imran, and Mr. Saxena quietened and stared at the two.

'How are you sir, and Seattle?' Eifad asked politely

'Good, Good! And the Doctor you suggested...he is... quite a charm.' Mr. Matthew said. Eifad's smile faded but she quickly forced another one.

'Dr. Shad, he has become accent of our hospital. A hardworking and intelligent man and so his wife, but he is better.' Matthew said and then laughed at his own statement.

Shad and his wife, Eifad felt a sting in her heart.

Kiran stood up and introduced herself, Imran, and Mr. Saxena following her suit. She then offered Matthew to have seat with them but he refused politely stating he and his staff members are at the bar. All this while, Eifad couldn't register anything, she kept thinking, is Shad here too. Will they meet again after so long? And will she be here too?

Even at dinner, Eifad couldn't focus much. She felt excited and nervous thinking of meeting Shad if he has come. Has he changed much?

Eifad scoffed, she and Shad were inseparable since they were five and look at them now. One whole year there was absolutely no contact. Only Eifad knows how she survived it.

Later that night, Eifad retired to the room, she kicked off her heels and relaxed on the bed before picking up her laptop and placing it on the bedside table.

Tomorrow, probably Eifad will meet her childhood friend Shad and so she felt very restless. To distract herself, she skyped her Mom and Zara. The little girl was over excited talking to her mother and watch her live. Eifad enjoyed it too.

After speaking with them Eifad changed into her casuals and sat on the bed. She then dialed Farhan on skype. She had saved the best for the last. A smile appeared on her face with the thought of getting to see Farhan.

Soon his handsome face popped up on screen.

'Hey, sweetheart.' He waved at her. A deep crimson red adorned her cheeks as she waved back.

Farhan is also dressed in his casuals, blue V-neck tee and checked pants. The only problem, the laptop is placed on the lower coffee table and so he is bent a little to look at Eifad, and the V-neck distracted Eifad. She had hard time not staring at his chest that peeked from inside his Tee

'Do you mind covering up your cleavage.' Eifad said after it was too hard to look away

'Why? Is it turning you on?' Farhan asked boldly. Eifad's jaw dropped. She quickly recovered and frowned, 'No.' she said bluntly

Eifad pressed her lips together suppressing her smile as she watched Farhan carry his laptop towards the study table.
