Mr. Saxena wondered why Eifad is all smiles as she walked confidently and smiling towards her cabin.

Eifad couldn't concentrate on work. Even in the board meeting, she was lost. All she could think of was Farhan's reaction on seeing the ring in her finger.

'Maam.' Eifad snapped out of her trance when someone called out her name. She looked up, all the members had their eyes on her. She felt embarrassed.

'Yes.' She said straightening in her seat.

'Maam, there is an annual conference for doctors. We will have to send two doctors and want you to select them.' Ms. Priya Singh informed Eifad, who nodded feeling more embarrassed.

'And I suggest,' Mr. Soham Rai pitched in, 'You and Mr. Saxena to be there too for the business purpose.' He said. Eifad nodded.

'And there is an entry fee.' Mr. Rai went on.

'That will be taken care of.' Eifad said. This Annual conference happens every year and it has always proven beneficial for her business, also the doctors who attend it. Eifad is little disappointed as that means the weekend in Mumbai and that will be two days without Farhan.

'Book tickets for me and yourself to Mumbai for this weekend.' She said to Mr. Saxena who nodded and then he added reluctantly.

'And the two doctors?'

Eifad nodded, 'I was thinking of Dr. Kiran and another one.... Dr. Imran, he is experienced with such conferences.' She said thoughtfully. Mr. Saxena nodded. She then asked him to inform the two of them and if in case it isn't possible for them they can tell. Mr. Saxena nodded and left the cabin.

Eifad's phone beeped and she smiled on seeing a message from Farhan.

Farhan: I am free today, around 5.30, coffee?

Eifad decided to play with him and waited for ten minutes before replying

Eifad: I will think about this, I am little busy

Farhan: okay.

Eifad felt slightly bad because he sounded disappointed even in the text. But Eifad has some other plans, she had decided to drop by his place and surprise him. She then admired the ring, if in case, he faints out of happiness it will embarrass them at the Star bucks. Eifad leaned forward smiling widely.

Around 7.30 Eifad took out her phone and texted Farhan, 'Sorry for missing out coffee, dinner? Delhi Pavilion, Sheraton?'

She placed her phone on the table, stuffed her laptop into her bag and collected her things. As she walked out of her cabin her phone beeped

Farhan: Sure, 9?

Eifad: Okay

She smiled and continued walking.

Eifad's smile faded when Kiran came to her in the parking lot. Like always she is all smiles.

'Thank you, Maam for selecting me for the conference. There will be so much to learn.' She gushed.

Eifad simply smiled. She felt slightly annoyed being disturbed. She is to meet Farhan by 9 and it is already 7.45. Eifad is about to go when Kiran interrupted again, 'I am very honoured, Maam.'

'Okay, Kiran. You deserve it.' Eifad said and before she could interrupt, Eifad hurriedly got into the car.

'Ma, I am going to have dinner outside.' Eifad announced to Aisha who sat in the living room watching TV.

'With Farhan?' she asked brightly.

Eifad smiled nodding her head, 'Yes.'

She heard her mother gush happily as she climbed the stairs to her room. She met Zara on the way, she had just come out of her room.

'Mamma.' Zara hugged Eifad and she hugged her back. When they parted, Eifad kneeled in front of her and held her arms.

'Baby, Mamma is going out for dinner. So, behave till Mamma return. Okay?' she said slightly sternly.

'Okay, Mamma.' Zara nodded her head obediently. Eifad then pulled her for a hug.

Eifad took a quick shower and changed into a halter neck wine red evening dress reaching her knee. She blow dried her hair and quickly applied a red velvet lipstick, she smacked her lips together and smiled. She applied kohl, her favourite cologne. She slipped into a red closed Stiletto.

'Someone is looking awesome.' Aisha complimented. Eifad turned her head and found her Aisha and Zara standing at the door, grinning.

'Whatever.' Eifad rolled her eyes, but she couldn't stop the crimson red color adorning her cheeks.

Eifad didn't take Tansen with her, she drove to Farhan's place.

Eifad mentally debated if she should go upstairs to his apartment or call him. Accidently her gaze fell on her ring and she knew what she was to do. She stepped out of her car adjusted her dress and walked into the building. The security guard made her sign the register and then she entered the building.

Eifad felt nervous and excited as she waited after ringing the doorbell. Soon enough, Farhan opened the door. Looking at Eifad he is awestruck. She smiled at him.

'I hope I am not late.' She said.

'Huh! No, No.' Eifad suppressed her chuckle seeing Farhan's dazed look.

'Come.' Eifad extended her hand and held his. Farhan stepped out in a daze. Eifad blinked at Farhan and he stared at her.

'Aren't you going to lock the door?' she asked raising her eyebrow. Farhan snapped out from his dream like state. He nodded his head looking away. Eifad pressed her lips tightly. He went inside and soon came out with his keys.

Thankfully, by the time she had come to his place Farhan was ready. As he locked the door, Eifad looked at him. He looked smart in an emerald green formal shirt and black trousers, his hair neatly combed and gelled.

'Let us go.' Farhan turned to face her and she quickly straightened. Together they walked towards the elevator.

'You will love this place.' Eifad said once Farhan and she were seated inside the car. Farhan looked at her and smiled. Catching his gaze Eifad purposefully tapped fingers of her left hand on the steering wheel. And just as she had wanted the bright red ruby ring caught his attention.
