'Hello!' Kim and Kiran looked up. Eifad stood beside them. Both were to stand when Eifad gestured them to sit. They nodded and sat down. Imran also stood beside Eifad. Before sitting, Eifad nudged Imran's arm and he nodded.

'Hello, girls! This weekend is my wedding. Please do come. I will send you guys the invite.' Imran said politely. Kiran nodded while Kim looked apprehensive. Eifad watched her carefully.

But before she could refuse, Eifad interrupted, 'It will be good, Ms....' Eifad glanced at her ID card and then continued, 'Lawrence.' The look Eifad gave her made Kim nod, but she was still apprehensive. Eifad and Kiran passed a knowing nod.

'Maam, can I get you something?' Imran asked politely. Eifad looked away from Kim, who had her head lowered and gaze fixed on her coffee mug.

'Yes, one black coffee with no sugar.' She said. Imran nodded and walked briskly towards the counter.

Dheem Kaka opened the door and Eifad walked in massaging her forehead. She has a slight headache. More than work, she is worried for Kim. Eifad is surprised herself as she is worried about someone she doesn't know. But for some reason, she wants to help Kim. If Gaurav is harassing her, he is a goner. Eifad had once let go of a culprit but not this time.

She heard giggling from Zara's room and frowned. She wondered- where is Aisha?

Eifad felt her mood lift up on seeing Zara and Farhan together. It has been two days since she had met Farhan last. Talking to him always lightens her mood, moreover, Farhan always has something to say that will make all her worries go away. Ever since that night, up at the terrace of the Rehab, Eifad and Farhan had become like open books to each other. More than Eifad, Farhan seemed to guess if anything is bothering her and this makes Eifad want to share her problems with him. He always has solutions.

Zara and Aisha are seated on a small sofa while Farhan is playing funny tunes on the piano.

Eifad didn't feel bad that they didn't notice her. After a while of admiring the trio, Eifad cleared her throat and the three looked up.

'Mamma!' Zara jumped down the sofa and ran to Eifad. She hugged her. A small smile appeared on her face. Zara began talking random stuff, Eifad listened but she was clearly lost. Farhan noticed this. Eifad is relieved when Farhan interrupted Zara.

'Zara, Mamma is tired. Let her rest.' He said. Zara stopped talking and looked at Eifad who nodded. Zara then nodded her head, 'You rest Mamma, I will play the piano for now.' she said walking towards the Piano.

'I will see for dinner.' Aisha said standing up. Eifad nodded.

Eifad then looked at Farhan who smiled. She smiled little before turning around and walking out from the room.

Eifad freshened up and came out from the bathroom dressed in a lavender two-piece night suit. She placed the towel on the chair and looked at her reflection.

KNOCK, KNOCK.

She wondered who could it be, perhaps her Mom or Dheem Kaka asking her to come down for dinner. Eifad quickly tied a night robe around her petite figure and opened the door.

Farhan who had been looking down looked up at her. Eifad looked at him and then at a small bowl of oil he held.

'Yes?' she asked raising her eyebrow
