Eifad parked her car in front of a tall building, on the tenth floor is Farhan's apartment. The locality isn't posh, in fact, it is very tacky, more compared to Kiran's. Eifad had many times asked Farhan to change but he refused. This place holds a special place in his heart. He had lived here during his struggling days as a fresh pass out Engineer. This is the same apartment where he had spent his days as a drug addict. Farhan insists he wants to live here as it reminds him of the dark days, motivating him to move forward and never turn back. Eifad had found it weird, usually people avoid places that reminds them of their past. But not Farhan, he believes in facing one's past and constantly remind himself of his mistakes.

Eifad had found this strange and stopped arguing because he was very stubborn.

'Thanks.' Farhan peeped from the open window.

Eifad nodded.

'Good night.' he smiled at her

'Good night.' Eifad replied with a small smile. He then straightened up and waved at her as she drove away.

That night, Eifad kept thinking about Farhan, his brown eyes, and his words

'Please don't do this again, ever.'

'You have no idea how important you are for me, Eifad.'

For some reason, Eifad felt lighter and better replaying his words in her head. She felt special, very special.

There is so much that has happened in his life, he lost his family and lives a lonely life yet there is a smile on his face. But his eyes, they hold so much pain. And that pain is what made Eifad instantly connect with Farhan the first time they met in the rehab. When he had narrated his past, she had felt bad for him. But now, knowing him better she takes him as an inspiration. Thinking about Farhan and his words, Eifad soon drifted off to sleep.

Two days later, before going to her cabin Eifad casually walked towards Elderly service department. She made sure it looked like a normal inspection. She noticed Kim talking with an elderly patient. She has baggy eyes and her voice hoarse. When Eifad passed her, she flashed a meek smile.

'Get Dr. Kiran Rai in my cabin.' Eifad said to Mr. Saxena who nodded his head and walked away. Eifad leaned in her chair and stared at the ceiling. Kim's face floating before her eyes. Soon, there is a knock and Eifad straightened.

'Come in.'

Kiran poked her head and nervously looked at Eifad. She then entered looking around. She clearly looked awestruck with the cabin. Eifad cleared her throat to get her attention. Kiran closed her mouth and straightened looking at Eifad with complete attention.

Eifad raised her eye-brow waiting for Kiran to say something first but when she didn't, Eifad spoke, 'So, what happened about the task I had given you?' she asked

Kiran nodded her head, 'I am on it in Maam. I have befriended her. Trust me it was a huge task. She is very disturbed. But breaking the walls will be tougher and I need some time.' Kiran said.

Eifad shook her head.

'I want results Kiran. I know something is bothering her and I want to help her.'

'I want to help her too, Maam. I will not disappoint you.' Eifad is amazed by Kiran's confidence. She smiled knowing that she has chosen the right person for this. Kiran smiled back.

After lunch, Eifad stepped out from her cabin when someone dashed into her.

'Sorry, Oh! Maam. Hey.' Gaurav smiled at Eifad. Looking at him smile Eifad felt anger and disgust. He is so calm and happy while Kim is getting tortured. Eifad simply nodded her head and turned to walk when Gaurav boldly held her hand. Eifad gasped and glared at him. He smirked.

'Come have lunch with me, Maam. My wife has made her special.' He suggested shamelessly. Eifad jerked her hand.

'How dare you hold my hand, Mr. Kayshab.' Eifad said sternly. Gaurav was taken aback for a second before composing himself. He made an apologetic face and apologized, he then suggested for lunch again.

'I am done with lunch, Mr. Kayshab.' Eifad replied dryly and before Gaurav could say something more she walked away.

As Eifad passed by the cafeteria she saw Kim and Kiran talking over coffee. Eifad walked in.

'Hello, Maam.' Imran greeted Eifad at the entrance. Eifad looked at him and he beamed back at her. She then looked at Kim and Kiran and an idea came to her mind.
