'Hurry up, guys. You both are walking like little girls.' Eifad said walking briskly through the school corridor.

'But I am a little girl, Mamma.' Zara huffed lagging one meter away from her mother. Eifad shook her head and continued to walk.

'Don't give up, Zara. We can do it.' Farhan motivated his little girl. Zara clenched his palm tightly and shook her head, 'Don't give up.' He urged her

'Shut up both of you, we are here.' Eifad announced. Both Zara and Farhan are relieved. They looked at each other and smiled slightly.

Today, the trio has come for the parent-teacher meeting at Zara's school. Initially, she was very excited as this will be the first time she has come with her father, Farhan, and is excited to show him off amongst her friends.

But as they waited for their turn Zara felt slightly nervous. Farhan sensed her tension and held her palm tightly. Eifad was busy with her mobile.

Just then a little girl came to them, Zara introduces her to Farhan, 'She is Jasmine, my classmate and Jasmine,' -Zara puffed her chest with pride, 'he is my Daddy.' She said wrapping her hands around Farhan. The little girl, Jasmine, smiled at Farhan who smiled back sweetly.

Soon, many of Zara's classmate got the word that her father has come. Many came to see him.

Farhan nudged Eifad's arm but she kept going to using her mobile, so he had snatched it from her. He ignored her angry glares and pointed at the few parents who had come to meet them. Eifad is surprised with the way they spoke to her. They were polite and were all smiles. She remembered few of them giving her strange looks before when she was a single mother and now suddenly with a man by her side to call her husband they have begun respecting her. Eifad didn't reciprocate their greeting, even after Farhan's constant nudging and whispering, 'Behave Eifad.'

There were next in line to meet Miss. Hasan, Zara's class teacher. Just then, Eifad felt giddy and fell to her side. Farhan is alarmed as she fell on him.

'Eifad, Eifad.' He called patting her cheek but she seemed to be unconscious.

'What happened to Mamma, Daddy?' Zara asked fearfully.

Farhan assured her everything is alright and her mother is probably stressed and so she has fainted.

When Eifad regained consciousness, she found herself lying in one of the wards of the school medical rooms. She looked around and found Farhan and Zara sitting on the bench opposite her bed.

'Farhan.' She called softly and both looked up instantly. Farhan hurried to her as she tried to sit up straight,

'Relax, Eifad.' He said holding her shoulders. Eifad frowned looking at him. Why is he smiling silly? – she wondered. She noticed even Zara is grinning from ear to ear.

What's wrong?

Farhan made her sit with her back supported against the cold wall. He sat beside her and clasped her palm in between his. He looked at her lovingly and this increased Eifad's suspicions.

'Mamma, thank you.' Zara gushed happily. Eifad frowned harder. She looked at Farhan who smiled and kissed the back of her palm.

'Daddy is saying that doctor said that you are going to give me a brother soon.' Zara said cutely. Eifad's eyes widened, she looked at Farhan who nodded smiling happily.

'We are pregnant.' He whispered.

Eifad looked down, she is pregnant? But how? She had always made sure they used protection while having sex.

Shit, there must have been a condom tear or something. Eifad knew she should have taken pills. Or at least tried keeping her hands off Farhan and not get too steamy often.

'I am so happy, Eifad.' Farhan's voice came floating into her ears and she looked at him. Seeing, Farhan and Zara's happy face Eifad felt glad she is pregnant. Especially, when she looked at Farhan. His happiness had no bounds, looking at him Eifad can tell he is trying hard to not scream and dance around with happiness. She smiled at him. Why is she worrying so much?

Zara left happily to inform everyone that she is going to have a brother.

'The girl is so happy for a brother. Hope she gets a brother. What do you say? Someone who will be mini me.' Farhan said happily.

Eifad shifted little, 'excuse me? Mini you, he will be mini me.' Eifad said with pride. Farhan pretended to look worried, 'one Eifad is enough, two Eifads will destroy mankind.' He said dramatically.

'Shut up.' Eifad slapped his arm. Farhan chuckled and she smiled.

'You better give me a son, for Zara's happiness.' Eifad said sternly.

Farhan nodded, 'I wish but it's not in my hands, right.' He said thoughtfully.

'Of course, it isn't in your hands, it's in your...I mean you are the father, you get to decide the gender.' She said covering up for the embarrassment.

Farhan laughed, Eifad looked away flushed.

'You are so cute, Eifad.' Farhan pinched her cheek

'Hey.' She slapped his hand away and massaged her cheek.

'Boy, girl, twins, triplet, I don't care. I am just happy that I am going to be a father. Thank you, so much Eifad.' He said. He leaned forward and hugged her tightly. Eifad smiled wrapping her arms around him.

Eifad was worried about getting pregnant but strangely this feeling is wonderful, it's thrilling. But she is nervous too. Eifad felt mix emotions.

'I promise you, Eifad.' Farhan held her face in his palms and continued, 'I will be the best father there is to both our kids.'

Eifad nodded and hugged him, 'But I have a doubt about you.' Farhan joked. Eifad's mouth dropped open. She pinched his arm hard and when he winced she smirked evilly.

Soon, Zara came with few of her classmates. Eifad is happy to see her making new friends. Everyone asked many curious questions making Eifad and Farhan blush but to their relief, a nurse came and shoved everyone out. Zara climbed on the bed next to her mother and hugged her.

'Thank you, Mamma.' She said kissing her cheek. Eifad smiled hugging her daughter tightly. Farhan felt emotional watching them. Seeing tears glistening in his eyes the mother-daughter duo teased him. Farhan didn't mind, he leaned forward and engulfed his wife and daughter in a tight embrace, they hugged him back.

Eifad is happy she is getting to experience the happiness of a happy family. She is happier for Farhan, maybe now he will stop having nightmares. After all, he deserves happiness too. Eifad felt Aisha should be here too, then it would be her complete happy family.
