Deku's POV

Waking up to Shoto packing his bags was all together one of the scariest experiences of my life. It was a simple task but something he shouldn't even be doing at 4 o'clock in the morning on a Saturday.

"Shoto..." I whispered darting my hand out towards his wrist. Flinching Shoto retracted his hand quickly.

Confused I look up to see Shoto's eyes cold and void of happiness. A few dried tears were left on his face.

"Baby what's wrong..." I mumbled out as I sat up. Again Shoto flinched. We'd been dating for months and not once had he flinched in front of me. Did he think I would hit him.

I reached my hand out to rub his cheek and again my precious Shoto flinched away. Something was definitely wrong but wha-

"-Midoriya I um...I have to go please don't look for me...I um can't be in love with someone like you..."

With that Shoto grabbed his bag and dashed out of my dorm room. It was just like that that the worst days of my life would start. The days without Shoto.
