"I'm so glad you decided to come back to me, YN." Hades held you close as you strolled together arm-in-arm through the pear orchard. "I was lost without you."

"I'm glad you've grown up. It only took you until Zagreus turned twenty!" You suppressed a laugh.

"The lesson was learned, my dearest wife. Wiping my memories is something I will never, ever do again." He kissed your head. "And something none of my children will ever attempt, right?"

You both looked up at the three children whizzing around in the sky, chasing each other.

"Right!" Each yelled over each other.

"I'm so glad they get along, aren't you, Hades?"

"I am pleased that we get along." He smiled at you. "Without that, there would be no them."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah." You rolled your eyes playfully. "No them, no orchards, no nothing good down here. So really, shouldn't the entire Underworld be thankful?"

"No. Only I need to be thankful that you were ever created. I am thankful for you and your kind heart. I love you, YN. I love you with as much love as I can possible give to you." He spoke quietly to you, as to not disturb his children with his 'mushy' talk that they so often called him out on.

But you still blushed and kissed his bare arm.

"I love you too, Hades. You evil, awful thing. Where are you learning to be so good from?" You lightly chided him.

"You, my love. You and my children. And I learned from Akira as well. What being good is. And what fairness is." He spoke to you earnestly. "I have been selfish in the past. For many millennia, in fact. And of course, in my ultimate sin of creating what you are now. And I cannot admit that I regret it, but I know now that it was evil. And I don't ask for your forgiveness, but I hope that we can build our relationship from here."

"Well, there's not too many better options to choose from down here..." You teased him. "So I guess I'll have to say yes for now... But if we ever go back up and there's someone else... No promises!"

Hades frowned at this and placed a hand over his breast, taken aback.

"I'm teasing you, Hades! Of course we can build our relationship." You laughed and leaned your head on his shoulder. "Provided we can keep trying for more offspring... right?"

"Of course we can. I mean, that was one of my main commandments, right?" He smirked at you.  "I cannot possibly go against it. After all the work the demons are putting in, it would be downright unfair for the leader of them all not to put in his own fair share of hard work. Am I wrong in saying that?"

You giggled and blushed.

"Not even the least bit. And now that Zagreus is older... I think we might finally have some time to ourselves! Now what do you say we try and slip away from our precious children?" You tugged his arm towards an exit.

"I say, I agree." He smiled back at you.

And with that, you both began to run.
