After

As Emma stood by Killian's grave, she started tearing up. She looked at the flask in her hand, and smiled. He wanted her to move on, he wanted her to not put her armour back on just because she lost him.

She was still determined to do something to bring him back, but she didn't know what.

She drank out of the flask, "You will forever be in my heart." She whispered, "I love you."

Before
Snow watched her daughter grieve, all Emma did since she came from the underworld was cry and it broke her heart. She walked over to her, "Emma... It's time." She whispered, hugging her daughter, leaning her head on her shoulder, "let's go."

Emma nodded and Emma went towards the church, they were having a proper funeral for him. He deserved it, like Neal, he died a hero. She loved him for it.

That doesn't mean that she didn't wish there was a way to save him.

Maybe there was and maybe there wasn't, but she was going to find out, soon.

They finally finished the funeral and they were all standing around his grave, they said some words as he started to be lowered into the ground, it wasn't an open coffin funeral.

She couldn't bear seeing him but not really seeing him again.

After

As Emma walked away from the grave, she started crying, she broke down and sat down on the bench.

Henry saw her and walked over to her. "Mom? Are you okay?"

Emma sniffed, "I'm fine, kid, lets... Let's go home, at least we know he is finally at peace now."

Henry nodded and they walked towards their home. The home that Emma bought for her, Henry and Killian.

Meanwhile...

Killian finally found a way to leave the underworld. When he got back to storybrooke, he saw that they were having a funeral for him.

So he decided to act as if he were someone who was at the funeral instead of the person that was supposedly in that coffin.

He watched as the woman he loved, grieved for him. He was going to say something to her but he knew she wouldn't believe it.

He wasn't going to do it straight away, so he decided that he was going to do it the next day.

She had a flask in her hand, and said the things that she had said the day before except for one thing.

"I wish you were here." She whispered.

He walked from behind where he was standing and said loud enough for her to hear, "well it's a good thing I am here, then. Isn't love?"

She turned round to face him. Her face lit up, "Killian?" She asked, "is it really you?"

"Of course it's me, love." He replied, "I found a way out of the underworld. Don't know how I did it, but I think it was to do with those pages in Henry's book. The ones he wrote." He explained.

"Though I did find out more about the myth Hades told us about. Turns out the way she could leave, was if when he left he didn't look back. But he did."

"So you think it could be like that. Because I left, you found a way to leave the underworld for good, because I left first?" She asked.

All he did was nod. Emma ran into his arms and hugged him, "I'm so glad you're back, you have no idea how much I missed you."

"Oh I think I do, I could feel it, I could feel upset you were. We are true love after all." He smiled.

"I'm so happy you're safe." She whispered, and as it started raining, Emma took the chance and decided to kiss him. "I love you." She whispered.

"I love you too, love." He replied, "now let's go home."

Emma nodded and they walked towards Granny's, but before they did Emma texted Henry.

Henry walked towards them, not noticing Killian at first, "Mom, are you okay? What wr-" he cut himself as he saw Killian's arm wrapped around his mothers waist.

"Killian?"

"Aye lad, it's me."

Henry didn't do anything but hug him, he was happy that his mom finally had the man she loved in her arms, and he was glad to have the man who was like a step father to him back in his life. That was all he needed. He finally had a family, that was happy and complete.
