Touch
Cerelia's POV:
„You already found a new lover? Are you fucking kidding me? I was turning the whole world around just to find you, and you were fucking the first guy that looked at you?" he yelled so loud that my ears started hurting.
"Shut the fuck up, you didn't even hear the story! And don't raise your damn voice at me I'm warning you. I gave you a chance to explain your story to me, now it's your turn to listen!" I tried to stop him from hitting Xavier, but he pushed me away and grabbed him by his throat.
"We didn't do anything I promise!" Xavier tried to free himself.
"Why should I believe you? If you ever touch her again, I promise that you won't see the sunlight ever again," he growled at him.
"I'm gay, so why would I even want to touch her?"
"What the fuck! You could've told me earlier!" he slowly settled down. I just rolled my eyes at him, showing him that I'm annoyed.
"Why can't you just trust me? You think I'm a hoe, that I would sleep with the first guy that crosses my path?" I shook my head. I was really mad that he thought that I'm that easy.
"No, fuck no! I'm just not used to trusting people. It never ends well."
"So you are saying that trusting me will not end up well? You're right. It won't end well, but not because of me! It'll be because of you! You always fuck everything up!"
"I know and I'm sorry, I'm trying my best! Maybe, you think that I'm not a trustworthy person, but I won't let you go!"
"Why do you want me to stay with you so much? We know each other for three months!" I held onto the door handle of my car. "I hate bipolar people like you!"
"I want you to stay because- forget it."
"No, tell me! Tell me what you wanted to say!"
"I want you to stay because I- I love you! Okay, that's what I was thinking." he started pulling his hair.
"You love me?" I widened my eyes, slightly opening my mouth.
"Yes, and that's why I'm so overprotective. I've never felt this way for anyone. This feeling is scaring me." I put my finger over his lips to stop him from saying anything.
"I love you, too," I whispered.
"Don't say too, it makes it sound like you agreeing to something."
"I love you, Barclay." I corrected my sentence.
"I love you C." He pulled me into a kiss. Our tongues were dancing together. And again there was the little fire that burns in me every time he touches me. He's not the only person I've ever kissed I kissed a lot of people, but I've never felt this with someone. And the kiss eventually turned into a make-out.
"We should probably stop, there are people here," I said not wanting to break the kiss.
"Let them watch," he mumbled while kissing me, I could feel a little smirk on his face. The butterflies were exploding in my stomach.
"Hell no, not here." I broke the kiss, standing up from his lap and taking my suitcases.
He helped me to put them into the car boot. But we didn't drive in the same car, because he came in his car and couldn't leave it in the parking lot.
The traffic lights turned red, so I took a quick look at my phone. It was 1 am. Tomorrow I was supposed to visit my mother in the hospital, before the big gala. Shit! The big gala. I didn't tell Blake about what our fathers are planning. He said we'll see each other at the gala because he needs to visit his father in our hometown. His flight is at 5 am, but he is already on his way there.
"Shot, shit, shit!" I typed his number and clicked on the green symbol. I waited for him to answer, but the mailbox's said he's not available. Why isn't he answering when I'm calling him at 1 am. "Come on! Answer!" I yelled at my phone. If I now start driving to the airport I'll maybe get there just in time.
The time was passing by, and I was driving over the speed limit, praying that he won't be faster than me. I checked my phone a few times, looking for his name on it. When I arrived, I practically jumped out of my car, not even locking the door. The security was calling for me, saying that I have to stop. However, I'll rather get arrested than letting Blake get killed. Finally, I spotted him.
"Blake! Turn around!" I yelled as loud as I could. Whatever I tried he didn't see or hear me. I started panicking. And then the door of the jet closed with him in it.
Maybe I don't need to tell him. I'm strong enough to fight for myself. Protecting him at all costs will be my only purpose at the gala. Usually, when someone gets killed at a big event, they get killed pretty fast. In the beginning, but at a moment when the victims don't expect it. How do I know that? Oh, pretty simple. I was the person killing them. A hitwoman. If you want to survive, you need to plan it, be prepared. The problem was, that I didn't tell Blake earlier.
The next time I'll see him will be at the gala, so there is no chance of telling him there. Maybe I can tell him that he has to be careful and that they hired someone to kill us. That still isn't enough information. My only hope, for now, is Alec. He is the only person I can tell this before it's too late. As the right-hand man, he's always at the same place.
After a few hours, I arrived. The first thing I did is search for him. There was no way that he wasn't there.
"Alec, they'll kill him if we don't do something!"
"What are you talking about, who is going to get killed?"
"Blake, they'll kill him! And of course, me too!"
"Slow down, what the fuck are you talking about. Are you on drugs?"
"No, I'm not."
Then I told him everything I knew. He listened carefully making a shocked facial expression every now and then. He also yelled at me a few times for not telling them earlier.
"We need to get our weapons. And of course, we need to stay calm, it's not like you're some innocent, little angel girl."
"Of course I'm not, I know almost every single trick they're using. But I'm sure that my father will call the best and most experienced one."
"Don't worry I'll be by your side. Blake isn't so weak either. He knows damn well how to keep himself safe, yet we need to tell him. I mean there's always a risk. Take this." he handed me a Magnum Research Desert Eagle handgun.
"Ooo, a powerful gun. I love it!" I played with it in my hands.
"And here is a knife too. You can hide it all under your dress. It's called the-"
"The D.E. Henry Bowie, I know." I ran my fingers over the corner of the knife.
"I'll choose something for me and Blake, too. So are you ready?"
"Is that even a question? Let's throw some knives, baby." I smirked walking out of the door.
