"Hey Virge." Janus said with the air of a small child who had been found stealing food from the kitchen. "Remus and Roman here just needed help with homework."

"We're almost done, Princey." Roman said, grinning. Virgil glared at him with cold eyes.

"Don't call me that." He said, sitting down on his bed and getting some homework out of his bag. Roman rolled his eyes and turned back to Janus. "I talked to Daniel, by the way." Virgil said. "Piece of shit." He added as an afterthought.

"And?"

"He said you helped Aaron." Virgil swept his dark fringe out of his eyes and glared at Roman again. "But I don't know who I'm more inclined to believe. The school bully and a kid from the Isle who came here illegally or a frightened kid who's done nothing but good his whole life." He finished sarcastically. Roman sighed and passed a hand over his eyes.

"I honestly don't know what to tell you then, Princey. If you don't believe me, then don't talk about it." Virgil rolled his eyes and started writing in his homework book. Roman sighed again and turned back to Janus.

"So... the Isle?" Janus asked cautiously.

"Oh, right. Re, Janus wants some stuff about the Isle!" Roman said loudly, alerting his brother and annoying Virgil, who shot him a glare. Roman smirked.

"What else d'you want, Blondie?" Remus whined. "It was a shitty place to live and I'm glad I'm never going back there." Roman bit his lip, refraining from reminding his brother that they were only here on a trial period.

"I want details on it." Janus said patiently. "What were the schools like? Where did you live? How bad is the crime there? Stuff like that."

Roman laughed slightly. "Well, to answer your last question, there was a shit-load of crime. It's an Isle for villains, no one there wants to pay for anything."

"Some people can't!" Remus jumped in. Virgil sighed and put on some purple headphones, trying to block out the twins and Janus. Janus wrote down a couple of notes and returned his attention to the two brothers.

"What's the education system like? That's one of the things I really want to know." Remus laughed.

"The question you want to ask, Blondie, is where's the education system. We don't have to attend classes once we've learnt basic reading, writing and maths. I only went because Ro dragged me to school."

"I literally had to drag him." Roman agreed. "But as soon as we hit high school," he jerked his thumb over his shoulder, "we went on the split shift. They weren't going to teach us anything, anyway."

"So, there's no compulsory education after you've learned to read and write and do basic things like addition?" Roman nodded and Janus noted all this down in his notebook. "Right, thanks for that. This should really help with my campaign."

Roman smiled and took this as an opportunity to leave.

"Well, thanks for the help on the essays. Re, we're going!" Roman yelled at his brother who sighed and stood up.

"Yeah, thanks Blondie."

"No problem. Oh, don't forget to come to LGBTQ+ club if you want to. It's on Thursday after school, every week."

Remus gave Janus a thumbs up as he and Roman left.

"You invited them?" Virgil asked incredulously. Janus shrugged.

"Why does it bother you?"

"Jan, their mum almost killed Eric's mum! You know, the Eric who's little sister is currently dating Issac, my brother! How'd you think it'd go down if he found out I was talking to them?" Virgil's breathing began to get more laboured and Janus rushed over to his friend's side, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Virge, Virge, calm down. Breathe. There's no need to panic." Janus laughed slightly as Virgil calmed down. "Besides, you aren't even talking to them."

Remus sat down on his bed heavily, make it bounce slightly. He laughed. "Wow. These things are bouncy and soft. Win, win, huh?" He asked, laughing again. Roman rolled his eyes and said nothing, sitting down on his own bed. There was silence in the dorm room for a while, aside from Remus tapping his hands again the sides of his bed. "So... which one are you going after?" He asked eventually.

"Which one am I- what?" Roman asked, confused. Remus shrugged like it was basic knowledge.

"Who are you going after to climb up the social pyramid? Because knowing you, and I think I do know you dear brother, you'll want to climb high in Auridon hierarchy."

Roman shrugged. "Well, I was thinking Princey but he seems pretty impenetrable so I'm thinking of giving up." Remus let out a loud bark of laughter.

"You? Roman Queen? Giving up? Gimme a break! You'd never give up. It's not in your DNA." Remus laughed again. Roman shrugged.

"I guess not. It's just... me and Virgil kinda got off on the wrong foot. Not really the best start to any type of positive relationship, romantic or not." Remus laughed at Roman's choice of words but said nothing. Roman thought a little bit. "Or maybe that Aaron kid. His mum must be pretty close to Fairy Godmother, right? Seeing as they're both fairies and shit."

"I thought you were gonna suggest that you get close to Blondie. I mean, it'd make sense." Remus rationalised. "He's the only one we've really gotten along with here."

"Yeah, but he likes you." Remus rolled his eyes.

"Sure he does." He said sarcastically. Roman laughed.

"I'm being serious! He likes you, I know he does! And you like him too, don't you?" Remus didn't say anything. "You can't hide things from me, Re, I'm your brother."

"Okay, okay." Remus sighed. "Maybe I like Blondie a tiny, little, small, miniature, minuscule- a lot, I like him a lot." Roman laughed loudly as Remus looked down in embarrassment. "But it's nothing like that!" He said as Roman continued to laugh. "It's just like me liking all my exes when I originally got together with them. I just wanna make out with him and then might get a little too emotionally attached but then this other cutie's gonna catch my eye and-"

"Yeah, too much information." Roman said, laughing again. "But maybe it'll be different in Auridon. Everything else is different here."

"Yeah." Remus echoed. "Maybe it will be different."
