"We're just about having fun, despite our major differences."

The final class of the day seemed to come much later than normal for Hana. Dismissing her students with a smile, most of them called their goodbye's to her before leaving. Vince and his best friend Alik were the last in class.

"See you later, Ms," Vince waved to Hana who smiled back.

"Take care, Vince, you too, Alik," Hana waved to the two boys who smiled at her before racing off.

The art teacher then sighed as she packed up her equipment, placing it in her bag before leaving the classroom.

Walking down the empty halls made Hana fidget her finders awkwardly. After school, when the hallways were empty was the only time that Hana felt uncomfortable with being at the school, it was just too quiet for her.

Leaving the school, via the staff exit around the back, Hana made her way to her car. She double checked that her paint brushes, paint, canvas, and easel in the back seat before starting the car up and pulling out of the school parking lot.

With an excited smile on her face that she couldn't quite wipe off.

Hana turned off the engine of her car and sighed quietly before hopping out.

The woman grabbed all her painting equipment, set her easel up with her blank canvas then grabbed her paints and brushes.

Hana smiled as she brought out her paintbrush, then looked at the scene in front of her, "Let's have some fun," she whispered to herself before dipping her paintbrush into the paint and gently streaking the paint across the canvas.

Her expression changed from easy going to concentrated in a split second, but despite the change in emotion, the passion and love for her art remained present.

"What are you painting today?"

Hana barely flinched as she heard the voice, "See that bird over there," she jerked head towards the bird sitting in a tree in front of her, "I'm trying to paint it before it moves."

The male beside her smiled, "Sounds difficult."

She chuckled, glancing from her canvas to the bird that sat dozing in the tree, "Only when it moves."

The human was rewarded with a chuckle from the holoform, "Of course you'd find it easy to do something most humans can't."

Hana paused in her brush stroke to give him an innocent looking smile, "I have no idea what you're talking about, Megs," she hummed as she went back to her painting.

"Of course you don't," Megatron rolled his holoform's eyes at her.

The two relaxed into silence for a while. Both just enjoying the presence of the other, before Hana broke it.

"Remember when we first met?" Hana chuckled at the memory, "I was such a dweeb."

"To be fair, seeing a thirty-foot giant robot does seem to startle quite a few humans," Megatron pointed out.

Hana snorted, "No duh," she shot the warlord a mini-glare, "You practically came out of nowhere.

"Excuse me for trying to have some rest and relaxation," Megatron sneered playfully at her.

The two paused before letting out quiet chuckles. Smiles on their faces as they playfully glared at each other.

"Git," Hana muttered fondly as she went back to her painting.

Megatron's holoform raised an eyebrow at her, "Squishy human," He countered.

"Rustbucket," Hana hissed back, pausing her brush stroke to glance up at him.

The holoform chuckled, "Messy vermin."

🌈

They first met during the school holidays.

Hana had escaped the confinement of her small house to paint the forest that was over an hour drive away from Jasper, Nevada.

She had set up the easel and her canvas, had gotten her paints out. She had just about to start painting when a flock of birds suddenly flew out of the forest with scared squarks and tweets.

Her eyes had followed the birds, a small smile at the sight of them before a rather loud thumping noise made her spin around to narrow her eyes at the forest. The trees shaking slightly with each thump.

"What the fuck," Hana's eyes widened at the massive robot(cybertronian who looked just as startled as she was to see him there as he was of her.

The next five minutes had been a silent stare off before the robot(cybertronian) suddenly put a hand(servo) to his head(helm), said something quietly to whoever he was talking to then walked off. But not without taking a small glance at the human who stood there motionless still.

The robot(cybertronian) transformed off and Hana finally dropped on her ass to the ground, her mouth dropping in shock, and her eyes wide.

"Holy, moly," She muttered, running a hand through her shortish black hair.

To say, it wasn't her most proudest moment in her life.

But it did earn her a good friend, an extraterrestrial friend.

Here's chapter two of Colours of the Wind.

Just a chapter of friendly interaction.

Sorry if Megatron seems OOC.

Hope you enjoyed!
