The next day’s weather was thankfully much better.
The sun was shining as Hana and Alik made it to the school, “Thank Primus,” Hana sighed as she held a hand above her eyes to shield them from the sun.
"What's a "Primus"?" Alik asked, his eyes shining with confusion as he looked over the roof of the car at his teacher-turned-caregiver.
Hana paused to think about it for a second, "I think he's like a god?" She shrugged, "I never really asked."
Alik paused as he grabbed his bag from the other seat, "Asked who?"
Over the last day and a bit, despite the rocky start they had trying to figure out a schedule that worked for them both, the teacher and the student had found ways that worked for them in the house and whenever they were in the same proximity.
Hana grinned at the thought of her cybertronian friend, "Just a friend."
Alik's eyebrows rose as a smirk crossed his face, "Just a friend?" He quoted her, "Sounds like someone's got a crush they don't want to admit."
Hana scowled at him, her cheeks flushing red, "He's- I don't have a crush on anyone!" She protested.
Alik laughed at her reaction, "Reeeeaaaallllllllyyyyyyy?" He dragged the word out, smirking all the same.
"Don't make me, make you pay rent," Hana threatened.
Alik laughed at her, shaking his head.
"I'm not joking!"
Oh, but they both knew she'd never follow through with it.
After another conversation with Megatron, Hana declared that she needed to have a movie marathon with him.
The mech never understood her references to popular movies, and it pained her enough to actually invite the cybertronian over to her house to "culture" him.
The mech had agreed(after seeing the stern look Hana sent him when he tried to decline) amused with her antics.
Currently however, Hana and Megatron sat on her couch as she opened Netflix up on her TV, "Let's see…." She mumbled, mostly to herself, "We've definitelyhop got to watch Harry Potter, the Hunger Games, Fast and furious…."
The woman looked over at the holoform who was watching everything the human was doing with almost perfectly hidden curiosity.
"What do you want to watch first?" Hana asked the mech, startling him enough for his mask to slip for a split second.
Megatron shrugged, "Whatever you think is best."
Hana looked conflicted, before she sighed, "Harry Potter it is then," she grinned as she played Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
Hana grabbed a bowl of popcorn, pausing slightly when she noticed the holoform next to her looking awkward, "Did you want me to get you anything?" She offered.
Megatron shook his holoform's head as the movie started.
Hana shrugged before chucking a piece of popcorn into her mouth.
His loss.
"Come on, you have to try it!"
"No, I do not," Megatron retorted, "Hana don't you dare."
Hana smirked as she lunged at the holoform, who's eyes widened as he dodged her.
"You will try the popcorn, whether I have to shove it down your throat or not!" Hana declared, chasing the holoform around the room.
Megatron shook his head, laughing as she missed catching him to me and time again.
It wasn't until Hana practically threw herself at him, did she finally "catch" him.
The holoform had instinctively caught the human, his eyes wide at the closeness between the two.
Hana grinned as she quickly shoved the popcorn into his mouth, leaving his grasp, almost choking the mech's holoform before he remembered to swallow the substance.
His holoform's eyes widened at the taste.
"I knew it!" Hana said trumpiantly, "I knew you'd like it!"
Megatron had to hand the win over to Hana for that. The woman was determined as Optimus Prime when she wanted to be.
"Don't pout at me, Megs," Hana smirked, "Don't be a git."
Megatron sighed at the enduring nicknames, "Alright," he admitted, "You were right."
Hana's sudden grin made the warlord's spark jump for a second, "I was right!" Hana cheered rather childishly, "Shame on you!"
Megatron, despite telling himself otherwise, didn't regret befriending the human at all. Dare he say it, he may have even fallen in love with her.
Hana hadn't even realised that she had a "crush" on the warlord until a good few weeks after their third movie night.
She was having coffee with Grace, and Max. The male had tagged along for some reason.
"So," Grace smirked suddenly, "What have you been up to recently? Max and I have hardly seen you at all."
Hana's cheeks reddened the slightest at the accusation, "Not much," she admitted, "I've been painting, going to school, which you see me then so don't lie to me, I always have coffee with you in the mornings before school, but other than that not much," she took a sip of her coffee.
The look on Grace's face made Hana confused, at least, until her best friend spoke that was.
"Dude," Grace said, looking wide eyed at Hana. Max looked up to spot the look on Grace's face and was more than a little confused.
"No way!"
"What?" Max and Hana asked the blonde, the two sharing a confused glance.
Grace turned to Max, "Our little baby has a crush!"
Max's eyes widened, "What!"
Hana rolled her eyes, "I have no idea what you're talking about, Grace," she told the other woman.
"Oh, I'm sure you do," Grace grinned over at her.
"No I don't," Hana shook her head.
"Who is it?" Grace asked, smiling madly, "Is it Jeff from the music Department? Edmund Richardson? Aidan Perice?"
Hana sighed, "I really think you've misunderstood the situation."
Grace however did get Hana to think about it, and despite what Hana told herself, she knew deep down that she did actually have a stupid crush on the silver cybertroanian.
"Megs," Hana said quietly as she opened her front door, "What are you doing here?"
The holoform in front of her looked torn between relief at seeing that she was safe and uncertainty about being there, "I just wanted to make sure that you were okay after the storms."
Hana nodded, "I'm fine," she answered, "I had gone to the school to help out with the kids who did end up going on the day."
Malegatron nodded, although he looked a little awkward.
Hana noticed the signs immedatly, "You know what caused the crazy weather," she sighed.
A guilty look flashed across the Warlord's face, "Yes."
Hana sighed, pinching the ridge of her nose, "Primus, Megs."
The holoform shifted on his feet gulitly.
"Come on, then," Hana sighed, "Watch out for the hormonal gay teen in his room "browsing" Instagram on his phone, but he's actually just looking at photos of his crush."
Megatron's eyes widened, "What?"
Hana only smiled as she walked back into the house.
Megatron hesitated for second before following after her, a small smile on his face as he did.
It was good to be home.
Here's Chapter Eight.
The last sentace "It was good to be home" basically means that the place that Megs feels the most at home is with Hana.
(Just thought I'd tell ya'll that)
Hana does know about the Cybertronian war, Megs told her awhile back when she noticed a few things😏.
Hope you enjoyed!
