"They were so different, but yet they were so alike."
Megatron was grinning as Hana scowled.
"No way," Hana protested.
Megatron smirked, "You did say that you wanted to "educate" me."
Hana shook her head, "Not this way."
Now, you may be wondering why the two are arguing again. Or rather what they're arguing about. Well…
"Come on, Hana," Megatron grinned.
"We're not watching Pocahontas!"
Ah, there we go.
Megatron crossed his arms, "What? Embarrassed of the movie?"
"You'll make fun of me during it," Hana shot back, her face scrunched up.
Megatron chuckled, "Alright," he put his hands up "surrendering", "When we watch it, I won't make fun of you," he paused, "I swear on my spark."
Hana paused, her eyes narrowed as she gauged his words. She's been getting better at telling the difference between Megatron's lies and his truth.
"Fine," She relented, sitting on the couch again, "But you better keep your word."
Megatron grinned as Hana hesitantly put the Disney movie on.
Megatron could help but watch Hana as she moved to get all the normal stuff ready for their movie.
"Stop staring, git," Hana said, despite her words, her voice was filled with amusement.
Megatron chuckled, "Alright."
Hana threw Megatron's usual blanket at him before falling back into the couch next to him with her own blanket, "I would have had popcorn if I knew you were coming," she grumbled, "You ate it all last time."
Sheepish laughter left Megatron's holoform's throat, "Whoops."
Hana shot him a playful glare, "Uh-huh."
"So what are watching tonight?" Megatron asked, changing the subject quickly.
"Dunno," Hana said, scrolling through Netflix on TV, "What do you wanna watch?"
An idea lit up in Megatron's processor, "Can I surprise you?"
Hana turned, her eyes narrowed on his holoform, "Sure," she shrugged handing the remote over to him.
"Close your eyes," Megatron told her, a playful grin on his lips.
Hana pouted at him, before closing her brown eyes, "Fine."
Megatron found the movie he wanted quickly, and pressed play.
Hana groaned before she even opened her eyes as she heard the start of the movie.
"Megatron!" Hana groaned.
The mech grinned as he turned his holoform's eyes to the movie playing, "Pocahontas".
"I'm going to kill you," Hana pouted as she pulled her blanket up.
Megatron chuckled, "No you won't."
Hana scowled but didn't say anything to counter his words.
Megatron wouldn't admit it, but he had chosen the movie, not only because it made Hana embarrassed, but that he also loved hearing her sing that one song.
Her voice was soft, but powerful as she sung alongside Pocahontas in the movie.
"You think I'm an ignorant savage. And you've been so many places, I guess it must be so, But still I cannot see, If the savage one is me. How can there be so much that you don't know?" Hana sung lightly.
"You don't know. You think you own whatever land you land on, The Earth is just a dead thing you can claim, But I know every rock and tree and creature, Has a life, has a spirit, has a name, You think the only people who are people, Are the people who look and think like you, But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger, You'll learn things you never knew, you never knew."
"Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon? Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned? Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains? Can you paint with all the colors of the wind? Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?"
"Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest. Come taste the sun sweet berries of the Earth. Come roll in all the riches all around you, And for once, never wonder what they're worth. The rainstorm and the river are my brothers. The heron and the otter are my friends And we are all connected to each other, In a circle, in a hoop that never ends," Megatron smiled as he watched her, he couldn't help but feel as if the song was a representation of their relationship.
"How high will the sycamore grow? If you cut it down, then you'll never know. And you'll never hear the wolf cry to the blue corn moon. For whether we are white or copper skinned. We need to sing with all the voices of the mountains. We need to paint with all the colors of the wind. You can own the Earth and still, All you'll own is Earth until You can paint with all the colors of the wind," Hana finished, a small smile on her face.
Hana's eyes widened as she realised that her and Megatron's hands had interlocked during her singing, blush dusted her cheeks but neither of them bothered to remove the other hand from theirs.
By three quarters of the movie, Hana had her head resting on the holoform's chest as she watched the movie and Megatron had his arm wrapped around her.
Both beings were filled with an overwhelming emotion that both made them happy and terrified.
For they weren't the same, one a human, and the other a Cybertronian.
Here's Chapter Eight.
Yes, there's going to be a little conflict because of the species barrier but I promise that it'll work out.
But you're going to hate me because of the way it does.
Does anyone actually like it/care for it when I put announcements on my page when I update?
Double update today. Keep an eye for the next chapter.
Hope you enjoyed!
