"All bad things have a way of becoming wonderful things."
A couple days before the school formal, Hana was met with a blushing Alik at her car after school.
"Ooh, did someone finally get the guts to ask you out?" Hana smirked, mentally patting herself and Pan(wherever she was) on the backs for shoving the two boys together.
Alik blinked, "What?"
Hana laughed as Alik blushed even harder, "Jackson Darby asked you out, didn't he?"
Alik nodded silently before his eyes widened, "Did you make him?" He whisper shouted.
Hana snorted, "Slag no," she grinned innocently, "I just had someone open his eyes for him."
Alik groaned, crossing his arms as he clumped into the passenger seat, "Panacea."
"I won't reveal anything," Hana announced as she too entered the car.
Alik groaned as he placed his head in his hands.
"Come on," Hana chuckled, "You both like each other, so I don't see the issue. If anything we helped you by getting your crush to finally realize his mutual feeling for you."
Alik groaned again.
"At least you have a date," Hana pointed out as she drove, "I happen to know that Pan doesn't have one yet."
Alik gave a small smile at that, "Thanks Hana."
Hana smirked, "No problem, Alik."
🌈
"Hana, does this look good?"
Hana glanced up from her pencil drawing to see Alik standing before her in his suit for the night ahead.
"And which one looks better?" Alik asked as he held up a bow tie and a long tie(both in the colour red) for Hana to look at.
The artist looked the young adult in front of her up and down, "Looks great," she assured him, "And you might wanna go with the long tie. It's a more of a "modern" thing."
"Thanks, Hana," Alik said relieved.
A thought came to Hana's mind, "Are you matching with Jack?"
Alik shook his head, "Nah, we talked about it, and Jack wanted to wear blue so I offered to wear the red," He grinned at the memory, "For some reason he said that he preferred blue over the red."
Hana grinned, "I wonder what he meant," she mused.
"No idea," Alik shrugged before racing back to his room, "Thanks again!"
"No problem," Hana called after him, "But hurry up, we only have half an hour left until Jack's picking you up!"
"Scrap!" the familiar curse of the household left the boy's lips as he did up his tie before racing to the bathroom to do his hair.
Hana laughed quietly to herself as she shaded in the shadows of the man's face in front of her on the paper.
A soft smile on her lips as she drew him from memory.
🌈
Hana grinned as Thalia dropped off Panacea.
The girl was careful of her orange dress as she waved to her mother who drive off with a proud smile on her face.
"Welcome to the ball, Cinderella," Hana teased.
Pan rolled her eyes, "Ha-ha, very funny," she typed out on her phone sarcastically.
Hana laughed, giving the girl a smile when she noticed how nervous the student was, "Don't worry," the art teacher told her, "Your friends have it all under control."
Pan gave Hana a weak, nervous smile as she hugged herself to try and keep her arms warm from the gentle cool breeze that drifted across Jasper that night.
'You sure that you can't just tell me?' Pan asked, looking rather pale.
Hana grinned with a mischievous look in her eye, "Now, now, Pan. Don't want to ruin the surprise, do we?"
Pan pouted, before rolling her eyes at the woman, "Don't roll your eyes at me, missy," Hana scolded the girl playfully and they both laughed.
A small ding from Hana's phone made the woman stop her laughter and glance at the text.
'We're ready for her now, Ms. Smith,' Logan had texted.
Hana grinned as she quickly responded, 'I'll send her in.'
'Thanks Ms!'
"Alright," Hana told the Hammer girl, "You're all good to go."
Pan hesitated before entering, then turned, giving her art teacher a hug, "Thank you so much," she whispered quickly before giving Hana a smile and leaving her outside.
The woman was shell-shock for a second before she grinned, pleased with herself.
The woman glanced at her phone again as she got another text, a puzzled frown crossing her face before she turned around, away from the school and her face lit up.
"Megs!"
The Cybertronian's holoform looked stunning in his suit.
Hana couldn't help the light blush that dusted her cheeks.
"Hey, Hana," Megatron grinned.
Hana smiled as she, very obviously, looked him up and down, "You look snazzy."
"Thanks," Megatron said, before offering his arm to the woman, "Go on a walk with me?"
Hana's face hesitated as she glanced back at the gym, before she gave in, "Alright," she agreed, looping her arm through his.
"But no funny business," Hana warned the mech teasingly.
Megatron gave her a sideways look, "Me? I would never!" He gasped, mock offense in his voice.
The couple laughed as they walked beside the school field that had sprinklers going to keep the grass alive.
"What are you doing here?" Hana asked, only pure curiosity in her voice.
Megatron sent her a sly smirk, "Well, I came to see my favourite human of course."
The Warlord's spark leapt for joy when he spotted the woman's cheeks reddened slightly.
"I highly doubt that I'm your favourite human," Hana said, rolling her eyes as she tried to ignore her heart jumped.
Megatron stopped walking and Hana paused, looking up at his slightly taller height.
The human's body stiffened in surprise as the holoform gently placed his hand on her cheek that was slowly growing redder.
"You have no idea of the effect you have on me," Megatron whispered softly. His eyes drifting over her face lovingly.
Hana was, for once, lost for words as they drew closer to each other.
Hana's eyes closed suddenly as she stepped back, "Megs," her voice said softly.
"Hana," Megatron said in return. His spark clenching as she backed away slightly.
Hana's light brown eyes opened again as she looked up into the reddish-brown holoform's eyes. Her mind struggled to form the question she needed to ask him, "Are you sure?" She asked him finally.
Megatron stepped closer to her, and this time her eyes watched him as she didn't back away, "More than I've ever been," he promised her.
Hana's body relaxed as Megatron's hand was replaced back on her cheek, a soft smile on her face as she looked up into his eyes.
"Alright," Hana whispered to him, her head nodding slightly.
A smile crossed the holoform's face as his lips neared hers.
His eyes flickered back up to Hana's for consent.
Hana pressed her lips to his in response. The holoform took a second, but his lips softened against hers.
Hands held the other tightly as desperation appeared in their veins.
The fear of losing what they had, setting in, and only the constant contact of the other keeping them from panicking.
Who cares if they were completely different species. They were made for each other.
The kind human artist, and the Cybertronian Decepticon Warlord. Both two completely different beings, yet both belonged together.
Here's Chapter ten.
gaaaah! What ze slag dids I writes!
This is either totally cringey chapter or a fantastic happy/lovey chapter. You guys decide.
Please excuse the person who has never had any romantic experiences in her life, like ever(!), who wrote this.(a.k.a ME!!!!).
Yes, this is during Pan's (and co.) Formal.
This is the Final chapter in act one. I hope you enjoyed the first arc of this book. The next act will come out when I get off my lazy aft and finish typing Nemesis Prime and a few more episodes. So this book will be having a small break as I type.
Hopefully the first chapter of act two will be out by Wednesday or Friday(New Zealand Standard Time) next week. Fingers crossed!
Hope you enjoyed!
