i clutched my clothes to my chest, knowing that brendon and his dad would be here soon.'

i had my blue outfit for tonight because my mom insisted that i wear something formal, though i knew i didn't have much of a choice.

i had a formal light blue shirt on, and just some plain black jeans with my black socks and shoes on my feet.

when i had just gotten ready, i heard the doorbell ring, and knowing that it was my boyfriend and his dad, i smiled at the thought of him coming over.

i heard a small chatter going on downstairs, and as i heard brendon ask, "where's ryan?" i had appeared at the top of the staircase. i heard brendon gasp and i chuckled. i walked down the stairs and to the rest of the people in the house.

"shall we continue?" i asked, motioning to the dining room.

"bien sûr, monsieur," brendon laughed, grabbing my hand.
