ROMAN

"Where do I even start?" I nervously chuckle, while my hands slightly shake in Cede's hands. She tightens her grip on mine in reassurance, with a soft smile with a giggle, which also made the rest of the crowd, filled with family and friends laugh in reaction to my response.

I was in complete awe of her beauty. The way her beautiful, white dress hugged her body, The way the vail brought out the sparkle in her angelic brown eyes. The way her pretty smile made my heart shutter, and the way my love for her grew by the minute made me feel like I was having an out of body experience. She looked like a queen, and there was no words that could explain how lucky I was to call her my wife.

"I firmly believe, that if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be standing here right now. You walked into a point in my life, where I felt like I had no fight left in me.  I felt so weak; So tired of having to putting on this mask that I was okay. I was trying to be strong, not only for my children, my family, but everyone who counted on me, depended on me. But, even the strongest man, needs a backbone, someone to hold, a shoulder to cry on, someone to catch me if I fell, and Mercedes..." I teared up, then bit my lip a little, trying my best to keep it together. I got a comforting pat on the back from my cousin Jon, and Cede reached out, wiping my tear away gently, trying her best not to cry as well.

I took a deep breath, then continued, "You were that person. Years ago, when the kids lost their mother, I felt like I was in an ongoing nightmare that I couldn't escape. I was heartbroken, confused, and I also felt like I lost apart of myself. In a way, I felt empty, and it affected the ones that I loved deeply." I say with honesty, looking over at my daughter who stood behind Cede as the made of honor. She gave me an apologetic, soft smile. I turned to glace over at my boys who were sitting in the front next to my Mom, and my other two little boys who sat on the other side of her.

"But as soon as you came into my life, all of that changed. You were there for me, unconditionally. You never gave up on me. You saw through all of my scars, my pain, and you were the first to reach out to the man inside of me I thought I had lost. You found me, and you saved me. From the moment I laid eyes on you, I felt something deep in my soul I couldn't explain. We were just co-workers, two wrestlers trying to make it. You knew me, and I knew you. We admired each other from a far, even from a professional stand point. But, when I left, and came back after that rough time, God knew that you were meant to stay. He had a plan for us all along. He blessed me with you, when I wasn't sure what my purpose was. He handed me an angel, that healed my heart in ways that are undescribable. Just your presence alone, wraps me in a security blanket. You complete me, and I can't imagine my life without you."

I caressed the top of her hand with my thumb, staring into her eyes lovingly, "You are my forever."

MY VISION

Events, dates, ages of characters will be for the most part, accurate to Sasha's and Roman's real life. Since their personal lives are sort of kept private, I will try my best to keep it as factual as possible. However, since WWE is an ongoing show, that will also be involved in the story, there will be some slight changes in order to fit the story line that I have envisioned for them. For example, characters that might have been drafted to a different brand as of late might not apply in this story. Storylines will be similar, but not exactly the same as it's displayed in the show, which will be explained more below.

EXPLANATION

So, there will be technically two storylines in this story. The first one will of course involve their real life, and the second one will include their storylines on WWE. I want interwine these two together, because I thought they connected perfectly in blossoming Sasha and Roman's relationship. To add, there will be some flashes to the past to reflect on the small interactions they had together so it could add a build up. I had this same idea in one of my previous stories, except they were flashes into the future, so that is the only difference. Last but not least, some of the people who are heavily apart of their lives might not play a huge role in this story, those roles will most likely be played by different people.

The trigger warnings that are listed in this story are; Sexual Content, Strong Profanity, Adult Jokes/Topics, Domestic Violence, Emotional Abuse, and Depression. In my previous works, I have strictly said that I wouldn't write any sexual content moving forward, and that was mainly because I wasn't comfortable nor was I gifted in that aspect of writing. However, now I feel like my writing has been getting tremendously better by the day, and my comfort level is at a point where I do feel confident in writing that type of content. I do still have certain restrictions as to how I write them, it will not be over the top, and it will not be underwhelming. It will be just enough to where I am satisfied, as well as the reader. I hope you respect and understand where I am coming from.

REMINDER

This book is an original story. This story has been an idea of mine for over a year now, and it's been a special project of mine. I would never go out of my way to steal someone's work. I have seen books about Sasha and Roman in the past, but it was rare for me to find one that had me completely drawn into it. So, that's when I decided to make my own, not only that, I adore this ship like no other. Also, I am aware that both Roman and Sasha are married. I've seen multiple people complain about shipping them because of that reason, but people ship others all the time, it doesn't mean we are going out of our way to disrespect their spouses. It's just for fun, and enjoyment. If you have a problem with that, then this isn't the story for you. Lastly, another thing I'd like to point out is that Sasha and Roman's real names will be used throughout the story. I know some of you might get confused by the sudden name change, so to avoid some of that confusion, I'd thought I would point that out.
