The sun, as it sets down
paints scarlet the summer sky
flamboyant tree, wears the crown
of flaming carmine
extend your blazing ruby
to the golden daily star
who wickedly envies
and fail to mimic
your perennial fury
ruffled vivid gown
always red,
never fades or turns brown
