[ 3RD PERSONS VIEW]

The air was misty; wind blowing cooly as the sun shone brightly yet the heat still couldn't keep the place warm. Boxes placed everywhere, sounds of sorrowful crying every now and then.

"Today lies the death of Choi Haruki. May her soul rest in peace."

Those were the same exact words that kept repeating in everyone's minds. The fact that the bright and cheery girl was no longer with them, made everything worse. Everyone was affected badly by her death, what exactly happened?

No one saw it coming. At least, that's what they thought. The girl left no trace, just two newly written letters dated about five days before her death. Did she know that she was going to die? Some suspected yes, but that was impossible, how could someone know their date of death? Unless, she committed suicide.

With the evidences found and inspected, investigators as well as the police easily stated that the poor girl committed suicide. Did anyone believe them? A lot did, while some did have their doubts. But then again, even if a person was all happy on the outside, you have no rights to expect that she is indeed happy on the inside.

A deep sigh left the teenage boy's lips as he finished carrying the last box of Haruki's clothes into the attic. "Well done, Jaemin." Mark patted the blue haired boy's back as they closed the door.

The two boys went back to living room where the rest settled down after a long day of cleaning up Haruki's bedroom. Since they were close friends with Haruki, they thought it would be nice if they helped the family cope with Haruki's sudden death. By rest, that meant Jisung and Mrs. Choi.

However, since then, the boys were incomplete. As said, everyone had their own breakdown after knowing that she died.

In the living room, it was just Jisung, Jaemin, Mark and Haruki's mother.

"We're really sorry for your loss, Mrs. Choi." Mark said softly, his sad eyes casted on the grieving mother. Ever since the funeral, Mrs. Choi had been down in the dumps, her heart ached so bad, she barely even slept well because of it. As a mother, she just wanted to know what went wrong, why did her daughter decide to do that.

Just why?

Jisung had been comforting the sobbing woman since they had came, she seemed like she couldn't handle everything by herself, that's why they came to help her in the first place.

"I just... I feel so bad that I wasn't able to be there for her– I was always gone, who knows? She was probably so lonely–"

Jaemin cuts her off, "No, Mrs. Choi. Haruki loves you with all her heart, she would always tell stories about you whenever we hangout together." he sighed and looked at his palms, "Whatever her reason was, it's most certain that it wasn't because of that."

Mrs. Choi smiled softly at him, "Thank you, Jaemin. But, Haruki is a complex girl, even I don't know what goes on in her mind." she stands up, "Oh well, I'll go heat us some tea, meanwhile you boys can just sit here while waiting."

Jisung nodded curtly, "That would be great, Mrs. Choi."

Mrs. Choi wiped her cheeks with a baby pink handkerchief, "I'm so glad Haruki was able to meet good friends. Please, make yourselves feel at home." she told them before leaving to go to the kitchen.

Mark bit his lip and laid back onto the couch, "Gosh, I don't even know anymore."

"Any updates on Chenle?" he questions the youngest boy.

Jisung frowned, shaking his head, "No... he wouldn't answer his phone, unfortunately. I talked to his cousin, however, she stated he flew back to China two days ago."

"What!?" Jaemin exclaimed, eyes growing wide.

"Yeah..." the latter frowned and rubbed his nape, "my exact reaction."

Mark groaned and ran his fingers through his hair, "Neither could I contact Jeno and Donghyuck."

"They're really heartbroken about her death, huh?" Jaemin tilts his head.

"How about Renjun?"

"He's... coping with it. If locking in his room– painting for hours even helps." Jaemin shrugged, a worried feeling rising up in him as he thought about his friends.

He looked towards the hallway, seeing Haruki's door room made his stomach twist uncomfortably, seeing the room completely empty made it worst. The boy shook his head and diverted his gaze onto the door beside her room, he tilts his head, "Was that light blue door ever there?"

Mark followed the boy's gaze and he shrugged, "Whenever we come over Haruki told us not to enter that room. It's kinda like an opposite to her room. See the colors? Her's is light pink... the other is light blue." he pointed out, remembering the time they first came over Haruki's house, he was the first and only one who ever noticed the locked light blue door.

Jaemin was about to add something else when Mrs. Choi came back into the living room, a tray with set of teacups and a teapot filled with Jasmine tea.

Mrs. Choi settled the tray on the coffee table as she carefully passed the boys their own teacups. They always enjoyed her homemade tea, thinking about Haruki made them enjoy it more.

Around thirty minutes passed, they did nothing but drink tea and talk about school or Haruki. It was a bit sensitive, talking about Haruki after her death, but they had to. It seemed so mysterious that she would just kill herself, or did she even kill herself?

Jisung heard a faint honk as they stood up to bid their goodbyes. Mrs. Choi thanked them for visiting and helping out to which Mark replied with, "We're always happy to help, Mrs. Choi. Do call any of us if there are any problems."

The youngest kept looking outside the window, and that's when he noticed the car. He tilted his head, looking back at Mrs. Choi, he croaked out, "Mrs. Choi? Do you have other visitors today?"

The woman looked out the window and a smile crept up her face easily, "Ahh, they're here." was the only thing she said upon seeing the car. "They're our family members, Jisung-ah."

"They've come back to live with me, since they were worried that I would be alone in the house."

Jisung nodded, glancing out the window from time to time.

Jaemin clasped his hands together, a warm smile plastered on his face, "We'll come back again another time, Mrs. Choi."

"Please do! I'll probably introduce you boys to someone when you come back, have a safe trip home!" she told them as she waved goodbye. The three boys waved back at her before stepping out the door, as they did, they bumped into a guy who carried luggages.

"Oh, are you boys Haruki's friends?" the man questioned and they nodded at him, bowing politely.

"I'm Haruki's father, I'm actually on a business trip but I stopped by to drop someone off."

The boys nodded in acknowledgment, "Ahh, we understand. It was nice meeting you, Mr. Choi." Mark stated with a small smile making Haruki's father smile back.

"You too, kids." he replied to them before passing them and entering the house.

As the three walked back home, they failed to notice the other person inside the car.
