Since I had read the letter from Reinette I had stayed locked up in my room for days on end refusing to leave. The TARDIS would summon food and water to my room and she would talk to me. At night I barely slept I never thought my heart could hurt more then when I lost my mum and my dad. The Doctor, Rose and Mickey had each tried to coax me out of my room but to no avail. 

After what must of been a week I was laying on my bed listening to music from my headphones when my eyes caught my bedside table I sat up and opened the top drawer and pulled out the small box that dad had given me with the note attached that read 'Open on 17th birthday'. I slowly opened the box to find a piece of paper with the word Zannarth written on it. I raised my eyebrow at this. 'Why would dad want me to have the word Zannarth? Maybe the Doctor will know' I got up off from my bed catching myself in the mirror as I walked towards my door I had dark circles under my eyes my hair under my hood was a mess my eyes a deep blue I was wearing a black hoodie and black ripped jeans with a pair of black converse. I slowly walked to the door and opened it looking outside seeing no-one in the hallway. I walked down the halls until I came up to the console room as I arrived I pulled my headphones down around my neck. Once I had entered the room I suddenly felt three sets of eyes on me my eyes went to the ground feeling very nervous.

"Effie, good to see you, how you feeling?" The Doctor asks.

"I'm feeling a bit better" I muttered out. I grabbed the piece of paper from my hoodie pocket and looked up to the Doctor. "Um, Doctor, what's Zannarth?" This made the Doctor quickly up to me.

"Why?" 

"My dad left me a gift for when I was 17 and it was just this piece of paper with the word of Zannarth" I saw the Doctor look a bit nervous looking down at the console before he took a deep sigh.

"Zannarth is the home planet of the Arnensian's" This made my eyes widen at the news of my mums home planet.

"What is an Arnensian?" Mickey asked.

"An Arnensian is what Effie is half of from her mother's side" 

"Do you know where Zannarth is?" I ask quickly.

"Yeh, I know where it is" 

"Well, can we go, please" 

"I don't know if that's a good idea, Effie" My eyes darkened in colour at hearing this when I suddenly felt a arm wrapped around my shoulders. I look up to see Rose pulling me into her side hugging me tightly.

"Doctor, come on she needs to go there" The Doctor thought about it for a moment before he saw the dark blue in my eyes before sighing and moved around the console starting it up. Before stopping the wonderful machine. "Well go on then" He said nodding towards the doors. My eyes lightened up a bit before I ran to the doors.

I gasped at the beauty of the landscape before me behind me the Doctor, Rose and Mickey exited the TARDIS and they were all taken back by the beauty. We made our way over to the large buildings but as we got into the large city the realisation of the war was hitting me as I saw the rooms crumbling the walls covered in black blast marks from what must of been a gun. As we entered what looked like a reception room to a large building a green light scanned us all.

"Hello, my name is Galaxus. Welcome to the capital city of Zannarth please state your name" The voice that came out of nowhere had startled me but I answered after the Doctor nodded to me.

"Um, E-Effie, sir" A small panel in the roof moved away and a small metal circle moved out of the roof attached to the roof green optic opened and scanned me again.

"Hello, Effie, what may I help you with today?" I guess this was just some kind of automatic greeter it doesn't know my race was all gone. 

"Oh, um, I'm not to sure I'm just looking around" 

"Well, have you been given your coming of age gift?" I raised my eyebrow at this.

"My coming of age gift?" The robot seemed to nod almost excited.

"Oh yes, after I scanned you, I realised your DNA matches that of Ms. Nova" My eyes widen turning yellow. 

"Ms. Nova" 

"Yes, your mother" the green optic then shot out a projection of the woman from the white plains I met after being eaten by the reaper.

"Effie, is that-" Mickey started.

"Yep, that's my mum" Galaxus then continued.

"Ms. Nova told me to make sure you got your coming of age gift when you came here. I shall be right back" With that he entered back into the roof before a few minutes he came back. "Ms. Nova also had a message with the gift, I shall give both at the same time" The hologram's eyes suddenly blinked to life as my mum looked down to me before smiling lovingly.

"Hello, baby girl" My eyes turned blue and tears pricked at my eyes. "I know by this time I will be gone and your going to be travelling with a mad man in a blue box. I also know at this point when you arrive here you will have gone through heart-break I wish I could protect you from. Each Arnensian has a special gift mine is the ability to see the future. I wish I could change what I see but I am glad to see you in the happiest parts of your life. I give you this.."

The green gem type rock started to glow as she held it's chain towards me. "Save it, for when you have met someone you wish to share your life with, we Arnensian's don't age like humans we can live for billions of years as long as we don't do something dangerously stupid. But where's the fun in that" I chuckled slightly at this wiping the tears away. "The wearer of this will age the same as the one they love I hope you find your love as I did mine" With that she placed it in my hand. "I love you so much baby girl" her hologram then shut down and Galaxus went into the roof. I held the amulet tightly in my hand as we made our way back to the TARDIS. Once, I had gotten back to my room I placed the amulet on my desk next to Reinette's letter.
