"Audrey just broke the Internet again!" Jake exclaimed, putting down his phone.
"I know Jake, we've all seen it." Amy sighed, helping Brooke finish decorate the cake.
"Yeah, and not a word to Emma. It's her first night back we don't wanna freak her into another meltdown!" Brooke added.
"She probably already saw it, I mean my phone has been blowing up for like an hour." Jake replied.
"Oh wow, look at you!" Amy joked, a grin tugging at her lips.
"Shut up." Jake chuckled, lightly nudging her shoulder.
Noah and Audrey then entered. "Hey, I've got our Internet hero!" Noah grinned.
"That was awesome, jump high!" Jake said to Audrey, holding his arm up for a high five.
"Get this out of your system now, Jake. There is no post-gaming when Emma gets here." Audrey snapped.
Just then, the doorbell rang and everyone frantically started scurrying around the room, readjusting almost anything - they wanted Emma's first night back to be perfect.
"Relax, guys." Kieran laughed, opening the door to reveal a handsome teenage boy, slightly shorter than Kieran. He smiled.
"Who's this?" Brooke asked, giving him a look which meant she clearly didn't want him to be here.
"This is my cousin Eli, feel free to ignore him." Kieran said.
"Nice to see some family love." Amy said, sarcastically.
"Well, I said ignore him, but I might as well introduce everyone." Kieran to turned Eli. "How does that sound?"
"I'm not 10." He responded. "You don't need to talk to me like I am."
Amy and Jake sniggered.
Kieran rolled his eyes and began to point at his friends.
"This is Brooke, Jake, Audrey, Noah and Amy." He introduced.
Eli's eyes followed Kieran's finger but his gaze was diverted to Amy after she was introduced. His blue eyes stayed locked with her brown ones for a while until Brooke snapped Amy out of it.
"Come on, Amy. Help me get an extra drink for Eli."
Amy quickly nodded, avoiding eye contact before following Brooke into the kitchen.
"Drool much?" Brooke asked her and Amy got out a bottle of beer from the fridge.
"What do you mean?"
Brooke chuckled. "You know exactly what I mean."
Their was a knock at the door and Amy ran over to Kieran, pushing him towards the door. He laughed and tried to push her away. "I've got it, I've got it!"
"Get ready, light the candle!"
"What's taking so long out there?!" Jake called.
Brooke and Audrey rolled their eyes. "Jake, shut up."
"Heyyyy! Welcome home, girl interrupted!" Jake grinned.
"Tact." Brooke snapped.
"No, it's a compliment, because Angelina's hot." Jake explained.
"Guys, it's okay." Emma sighed. "I had some issues, and I dealt with that. And now I'm back here because I wanna get my life back to normal. And it would really suck if you guys started acting all weird around me." She smiled.
"Well, it's really good to have you home."
Amy nodded in agreement.
"I love you!" Brooke jumped up and down before running up to hug Emma.
Amy frowned and fake pouted. "No fair, am I not loved?"
Brooke and Emma laughed, each holding out an arm. "Come here!"
Amy ran into the hug, soon followed by Jake, then Audrey and then Noah.
"It's so good to have you back!" Noah smiled.

Amy was sat outside, alone, finishing off her bottle of beer. She shivered as the cold air hit her skin and the cool taste of the alcohol running down her throat.
"You cold?" Someone asked from behind.
She spun around to see Eli stood there with a smile on his pretty face.
"Yeah, kinda." Amy chuckled, awkwardly.
Eli sighed and sat down beside her. "It's a shame, if I had a jacket, I'd be all cliché and give it to you, but I don't so-" Eli laughed, wrapping his arm around her and pulling her closer. "I'll just have to do this."
Amy's breath hitched as he pulled her closer and she immediately look away to avoid any awkward or romantic eye contact. "How are you finding Lakewood?" She asked, keeping her eyes on the almost empty beer bottle.
"Well," Eli sighed. "I feel less safer than I did in my old town because of the murders, but it's all over now, right?"
Eli noticed Amy shuffle uncomfortably, he then realised it was a sensitive subject for her. "But now things are beginning to get better." He added.
Amy could feel his eyes piercing through her skull, so, without thinking, she looked up so their eyes locked once again.
Looking closer at them, she realised they were more than just blue eyes; they had specks of green within them and the moon was seemingly reflecting against them; they were beautiful.
Noah then stumbled outside with some empty beer bottles to bin, to his surprise, seeing Amy and Eli, who, to him, looked like they were about to kiss, judging by how close they were.
The two's heads snapped to Noah's direction and Amy nervously laughed, shuffling back and brushing Eli's arm away from her.
"Uh, pay no attention to the incredibly awkward entrance by the gorky, comic relief guy with zero timing." Noah said, awkwardly.
Amy laughed. "Noah Foster, you really are the most awkward teenager I have ever met."
Noah grinned. "I don't know whether that's a compliment or an insult, but thank you."
Emma then walked out and almost crashed into Noah because her attention was drawn towards Amy and Eli. She blinked a couple of times. "U-uh, Eli, Kieran wants you. We're wrapping it up in there and he wants to go home."
Eli sighed. "He never was a late night person." He remarked as he got up.
Amy got up too and quickly brushed herself down before hurrying towards the door. "I'll see you guys at school." She said, walking through the door before any of them could say anything else.
Noah just witnessed something that wasn't what it looked like at all with a new guy Amy hadn't even known for day... her friends were never gonna let this go.
