"So," Eli began. "about our date." He said, emphasising the word date to tease her.
Amy raised an eyebrow and rested her chin in her hand. "Yes?"
"You want me to pick you up or-?"
"Actually, I'm getting a lift from Zoe. She said she likes to drive and since we're both part of the event, it would make sense. We're also picking up Brooke too."
Eli slowly nodded. "Will I meet you there, then?"
Amy smiled. "Indeed you will. You know, I've never really been a fan of carnival's but..."
Eli furrowed his brows. "Why's that?"
"Well, they're creepy and since there's most likely another murderer in town, it makes it twice as creepier."
Eli laughed before trailing off and staring at Emma, who was behind the bookshelf. "Hang on," He said.
Amy scoffed. "You're so nosy, you know that?"
Eli cracked a smile. "I prefer the term interested."
Amy sat there for while, watching Eli and Emma talk through the cracks of the bookshelves before sighing and pulling out her phone and scrolling through her Instagram feed.
Her attention was taken off her phone when she heard a policeman call out Emma's name. She looked up to see Sheriff Acosta, Kieran and another police officer who appeared to be called Dwayne.
Murmurs erupted from the students as they made their way towards Emma. "I hear you have something you want to show me."
Amy watched as Emma paused before pulling Jake's phone out from her bag and putting it in a plastic bag. Her eyes widened. Jake's phone?
"Follow us, please." The sheriff said sternly. Emma obeyed, giving Kieran a glare as she passed him.
"You ratted her out!" Eli hissed at him, making Amy stand up.
"What?!"
Kieran shook his head. "Shut up."
Amy stood there with her eyes narrowed at Kieran. Eli took hold of Amy's arm and pulled her back to their seats. "What the hell did Kieran do?"
Eli sighed. "He ratted Emma out to the police. He told them everything."
"About what?"
Eli rubbed the back of his neck and sighed a longer sigh. "Jake's phone was planted in Emma's bag pack."
Amy's eyes widened. She then nervously bit her lip groaned, brushing her hands through her hair. "This is ridiculous."
Her attention was snapped away from Eli when Emma walked back into the room.
She ignored Amy's question and strode straight over to Kieran, yelling at him for ratting her out to the police.
"Look," Eli began. "in times like this you need to be careful with who you trust."
Kieran scoffed. "What?!" He harshly hit his cousin's shoulder as he passed him before going behind the bookshelves.
"Hey!" Amy called back. He didn't answer. Instead, this caught the attention of the rest of the students, including Haley.
"She had the dead guy's phone and they just sent her back. Why? Because her mom works for the police, duh!"
"Did you hear that?" Amy hissed, nudging Emma.
"Why are they all staring-?"
"Ignore her, okay?" Eli said as he held his arm out in front of Amy, Audrey doing the same with Emma.
"No! I wanna know what they have to say!" Emma protested, pushing Audrey away and striding over to Haley.
Amy watched, biting her lip as Emma talked to Haley, who rolled her eyes.
At this point, the students were crowding around them; probably all waiting for someone to throw the first punch.
"You have no idea what I went through." Emma whispered.
"You went through?" Haley repeated. "Piper butchered 8 people but magically didn't touch a hair on your head!"
"That is not true-"
"Then you shot her in the face so we only got your side of the story!" Haley continued.
"That's enough. Haley, leave her alone!" Audrey, pulling Emma back.
But Haley didn't, she was driving Emma over the edge before she knew it. She freed herself from Audrey's grip and connected her fist with Haley's face.
The audience gasped as Amy grabbed Eli's arm, her other hand over her mouth.
Everyone then went silent as Haley got back up and charged at Emma. "You dumb bitch!"
The two were now on the floor as people took out their phones and began to record the scene.
"I can't take this." Amy muttered to Eli.
"Amy, don't-!" He shouted.
She ignored him and ran to the girls. Haley was on top of Emma, about to slap her, but Amy stopped her by throwing her to the ground, beside Emma and sitting on top of her. She pinned her arms down and hissed at Haley, "If you touch her, I swear to God I'll-"
"You'll do what?" She yelled, laughing. "What the hell will you do, Amy Ball?"
Amy felt the anger build up inside her as Haley teased her. The crowd was cheering; some for Haley, some for Amy and some for Emma to step back in, since Audrey and Stavo had pulled her up.
Amy let go of her arms and grabbed her hair, pulling her head up before harshly banging it against the cold, hard floor and slapping her right after.
Haley began to feel dizzy as the police ran in, followed by Miss Lang. Amy felt two hands grab her arms and pull her up.
She watched as Haley's friends pulled her up and shot her glares, before she spun around to become face to face with Eli. "Let go of me! She hurt Emma so I'm going to hurt her!" Amy yelled.
Eli chuckled. "You already have! Look, she can barely stand she's so dizzy!" He spun her around so she could see Haley holding her head and cursing at her.
Emma stood there, shocked at the scene as Miss Lang wrapped her arms around her and pulled her away. She pushed her way through the crowd until they were out of sight.
"You did a good job. Just never do it again, okay? You're lucky the police haven't confronted you." Eli laughed.
He sat Amy down as Audrey, Zoe, Stavo and Kieran bombarded her with questions.
She groaned. "Just leave me alone, alright? I lashed out! Big deal!"
The four teenagers stood there in silence for a while before Audrey nodded and pulled out her phone and began to dial a number into it. She soon put it to her ear before walking away.
Amy watched as Stavo sat down and pulled out his iPad and Zoe resume to reading her book. Eli sat down next to her and rested his arm on table, facing her. "Are you okay?"
Amy sighed and nodded. "I'm fine. I just need to cool down."
Eli softly smiled and nodded. "Okay. Is there anything I can do to help or-?"
"No." Amy rudely cut him off. "No, no, I'm fine, thanks."

"You, Stavo! What are you drawing?" Audrey yelled, making Amy jump.
"Don't worry about it." He replied, dropping his pen on the table.
"Come on! You're staring at us all the time I'd like to see what we inspire in you-" She trailed off once she saw the iPad, and quickly took it.
"Hey, give that back!" Stavo yelled, standing up.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Audrey yelled, swiping through the drawings on the iPad.
"No, don't look at that!"
"What is she doing?!" Amy whispered to Noah.
"She just asked him what he was drawing." He replied.
"Give it back!" Stavo yelled as some jocks held him back so Audrey could look at the pictures for longer.
"It's not-"
"What is it not? You want me to show everybody what you think it's not?!" Audrey yelled, holding up his iPad so everyone could see. "This is what he's drawing!"
Amy almost screamed at the drawing of her lying on the floor in her own blood, with her neck cut open. Eli stood up and squinted at the picture before realising who it was.
"Oh my God, you sicko!" Haley yelled.
"Look, they're just drawings so just give it back!" Stavo attempted to run to Audrey, but a group of boys pushed him back.
"There's more!" Audrey shouted, showing the crowd drawings of Jake, Kieran and Eli.
"It's not what you think!" Stavo tried to reassure everyone.
"You know who does that? Serial killers!" Haley yelled, earning nods of agreement.
"Wait a minute, wait a minute!"
"That's messed up, man!" Someone yelled, throwing a slushie at him. Stavo ducked just in time for it to hit the wall.
"It's a just a drawing!" Stavo reassured as people yelled at him. "It's a comic book! It's a fantasy it's not real life!"
Amy watched as jock took the iPad from Audrey's hands and threw it onto a table, before it slid off and hit the floor with a smash.
She gasped as Audrey ran up to it and turned it over, revealing cracks all over the screen.
Before Stavo could say anything else, a boy punched him in the nose. He fell to the floor and other boys began to kick him.
"Oh my god," Amy muttered, taking deep breaths. "Stop!" She soon began to yell as she ran through the crowd of teenagers.
By now, Stavo was being punched, kicked and slapped by about 10 students in the library. Amy tried her best to pull them away with the help of Eli, but they weren't strong enough.
Soon, Kieran ran in to help them. "What is wrong with you all?! Get back!" He harshly pushed some of them away as Noah yelled at Audrey.
"Break it up, break it up!" Sheriff Acosta yelled, making everyone jump back.
Once he was stood by his son, Stavo looked up to reveal his nose was bleeding badly and his lip was cut. His father helped the scared boy up and looked at his injuries.
"Emma?" Noah asked, diverting everyone's attention to her.
She stood there with blood trickling down her arm and her hand, which was coated in blood.
"Oh my god," Amy whimpered, clasping her hand over her mouth.

Soon enough, the police let the students free and the parents into the school.
"Amy!" She heard her mom call.
Amy's eyes lit up at the sight of her mom stood there with arms wide. She ran into her arms hugged her tightly.
Eli watched from afar with a small smile on his face. He then watched the two pull away and Amy turn around. She scanned the hall of teenagers and smiled as her eyes locked with Eli's.
She gave him a wave before turning her back and walking away with her mom.
Eli smiled to himself and looked to the floor; seeing Amy happy after today made him happy too.
