"Stop, you, creature of hell!"- the shouting greeted Emi, entering the room.

The girl carefully stepped through the pieces of the broken glass, glaring across the mess. The sight of the floor and walls, covered in the garbage was certainly not the one she expected to see. Although she knew, that her roommate wasn't a fan of cleaning, she couldn't understand, how it was possible to make their apartment that mess.

"When I find you, I'll rip you apart!" - oh, there appeared a reason for the mess. Long blue hair with some white strands, gray hoodie, crimson eyes - she easily recognized her best friend and roommate named Tou. At the moment the girl was as in mess as the room: her eyes were feverishly looking from one side to another, blue hair was disheveled, and her favorite clothes were covered in... traces of blood? She grabbed Tou's shoulder, making the girl stop running. She glared at Emi for a couple of seconds, trying to focus her eyes on the face.

"E-emi-chan?" - the blue-haired asked weakly. Emi smiled and nodded.

"Did you expect someone instead of me?" - she asked jokingly, although her expression quickly turned back to serious. - "Tou, what the hell is happening?" - that question was asked more persistently, the girl squeezed the shoulder of her friend. Tou adverted her gaze and mumbled quietly:

"Demon"

"Do you think I'll believe in that stupid excuse? Demons don't exist" - replied Emi sharply. She was pissed off by the mess - she didn't want to come back to that room after a hard-working day! Also, the owner of the apartment promised to visit them soon...

"How rude - to call me, the existing creature, unexisting?! I knew that humans are strange - but to such an extent! One of them is throwing the items at me, the other is denying my existence... Cold greeting, nothing to add" - Emi was shocked by hearing an unfamiliar sarcastic voice. Turning her head, she noticed a purple-haired girl with blue eyes, apparently her age. She was wearing a gray sweater and black jeans, but it was not as surprising as the fact that she was floating above the ground.

"Who are you?" - the girl decided to ask... the ghost? stretching with a smile.

"Oh, so I finally get to have a normal talk instead of shouting? I can't believe.
I'm Jenny, the muse of angst. Nice to meet you!" - the purple-haired smiled and stretched the hand out.

"How did you get here?" - Emi continued the interrogation, not reacting to the stretching hand.

"Oh... about it you should better ask your friend" - Jenny winked and gestured to Tou, who was suspiciously quiet.

"Tou-chan? Do you know something about it?" - she asked the roommate, still holding her in her arms. Tou blinked and stated:

"I did a ritual to summon the muse" - after that phrase, Jenny burst out into laughter. Emi moved back with Tou, protecting the latter from the muse. No one knows about her mental health - so they decided not to risk. After the purple-haired calmed down, Emi whispered a question to her friend's ear:

"Why have you done that?"

"Because I couldn't write the continuation of my story! I needed help!" - Tou shouted loudly, scaring the girl.

"And you decided to receive it... from her?" - Emi looked at Jenny suspiciously.

"Do you think I knew, who should appear?" - the blue-haired helplessly exclaimed.

"If you read the instruction more carefully, you would know it~" - Jenny joined in their talk. Tou rolled her eyes.

"And what are we going to do with her?" - she asked her roommate.

Emi cleared her throat.

"I'm sorry for the rude greetings, we are usually not like that. I can make tea and we will drink it together as an apology, okay?" - the girl put on her brightest smile.

"I wouldn't mind" - Jenny smiled back.

Emi was in the kitchen, heating the teapot and choosing over the thousand tea flavors, in the end deciding on the simple black one. She was surprised that during the tea preparations the girl didn't hear any screaming or even talking - it seemed that Jenny and Tou decided to keep silent instead of getting along. Emi smiled because of that guess and stood on the chair, trying to reach the jar of cookies, until...

"Put my sketchbook back!" - shouting made the girl fall to the ground. Rubbing her back, Emi walked in the living room just to notice screaming Tou and grinning Jenny, sitting on the top of the bookcase

"I haven't finished my judgment yet~" -  the muse replied maliciously, turning the page of a small notebook, which was, probably, Tou's sketchbook. - "You know, at this drawing, you should correct anatomy-" - the rest of the phrase was interrupted by the pillow, flying towards the girl. Although, the item didn't reach the aim, because Jenny disappeared the second before the clashing.

"Why are you so angry with me? I'm just helping you" - she whined playfully, already sitting on the floor. Tou blinked and went to take her sketchbook back.

"Did I ask you to criticize my arts?" - the blue-haired frowned.

"You didn't ask me not to" - Jenny smirked and successfully dodged another thrown pillow. Emi sighed.

"I wanted to say that tea is ready. What do you prefer - continue bickering or enjoy tea?"

"Tea, of course!" - Jenny stood up and walked to the kitchen, Tou followed her. After making sure, that no one could hear her, Emi whispered:

"Children..." - letting her anger out, she entered the kitchen. Surprisingly, the girl didn't notice the traces of destruction there, just Tou and Jenny peacefully drinking tea. Emi sat on the nearest chair, taking a cup from the table.

"So, Jenny..." - purple-haired turned her head. - "How long are you planning to stay here?" - noticed Jenny's expression, Emi decided to continue - "It's not like we aren't happy with your presence, but..." - the girl ran out of the ideas. Tou continued.

"You are annoying and also distracting us" - the blue-haired said nonchalantly. Jenny, after hearing it, lowered her head.

"I'm very sorry that I am bringing problems to you, but..." - she continued without her usual smile. - "I won't disappear until Tou writes something" - after those words the room went silent.

"W-write something?" - Tou repeated, receiving sad glares.

It seemed that they won't finish the tea drinking.

After some time, three girls were sitting at the same table, although that time there weren't any cups or cookies. Jenny was laying on the table in boredom, Emi was glaring at Tou, and Tou... the girl was trying to write something under the pressure.

"I thought you were the one who wanted her to leave the most" - gesturing to Jenny, Emi whispered.

"Yes, I am! But can you imagine how hard is to write like that?" - Tou exclaimed, smacking her hand on the table, instantly regretting it. Emi sympathetically looked at her roommate and tried to ignore the wine of pain from her. Jenny, hearing it, rose her head up in curiosity. The blue-haired gasped and kept on staring at the sheet of paper. From the side they might be even similar to the usual group of friends, doing homework together. But the illusion was broken by a strange sound from the living room. Emi and Jenny stood up, deciding to check where it came from.

They entered the room just to notice the strange hole in the middle of it. Emi was scared when from the hole started to appear a girl, and Jenny smiled brightly and shouted:

"Kapo-chaaan!" - she ran towards the girl and hugged her, leaving Emi to stay in shock. - "I'm very happy to see you, but why are you here?" - the purple-haired questioned, and Kapo rubbed her neck.

"Aki-nee wanted to see you" - the girl replied after the long silence.

"Oh shi-" - the rest of the phrase was interrupted by another appearing hole and the blonde, walking in the room. She stopped near Jenny and started shouting.

"What, do you think, you are doing?" - the purple-haired frowned, trying to escape the room. Unfortunately, Aki grabbed her wrist and stopped her from leaving. - "I asked you what you were doing, you hellish creature! Why do I have to find out that you're not doing your work and frightening humans instead?"

"I-"

"I haven't finished yet! Have you ever imagined the consequences of your actions? Did you think about Mia? How will she feel when she knows that the muse of her department does such things with poor people!"

"And that's why she isn't here..."

"I told you to shut up!
You are going to come with me, young lady. I will report you to the angst department for the misbehavior. And what about you..." - she gestured to Emi and Tou, who had just come into the room. - "I advise you to forget everything that happened and continue your living happily. Now we have to go, bye!" - after saying that, Aki disappeared in the hole with Jenny and Kapo.

Emi and Tou were standing, frozen in shock until the blue-haired sat on the floor.

"These were just group hallucinations, right?" - she asked her friend, nervously smirking.

"Right... I should prepare more tea" - Emi replied, going back to the kitchen. Tou, after starting in nowhere for a minute, followed her.

Although the story she created and even finished, Tou had never summoned ghosts or muses  another time.

Hello, how are you?

I'm trying to recover myself from the writing block and write something instead of sleeping)

I hope you liked it though)

And btw, a little explanation. Almost everyone has things that inspire them, but in that world, there are alive creatures that bring inspiration to everyone. They either can appear by themselves or be summoned by someone (but this is a very bad idea, believe me). I hope it made sense

See you in the next chapters)
