The highway is almost quiet. Barring the occasional zooming of the vehicles moving past, there isn't any movement anywhere. The yellow street lights looms large from top, giving the deserted track a somewhat eerie vibe.

Frost is driving fast. Evergreen is in the backseat, music up and windows down. Night travel is a thing they did not do often. But the road is clear, and even a child knows how to push the accelerator. So did Frost.

"Do you recognise the song ?", Evergreen suddenly speaks. "Nope. Do you ?", Frost tries to make a small talk . " Yes. This was the one playing when we first met at our farewell party, remember ?", Evergreen speaks low, trying to recollect the same feeling of back then. In a way, Frost did not remember the song. But he still says , "Alright that one. It's cool." " The lyrics feel so close to my heart....", Evergreen was really in a trance.

And they were talking about what had happened at the party. As abrupt as lightning, suddenly Frost screeches the vehicle to a halt. Him and Evergreen jolt forward in inertia. "What the hell was that ?" Evergreen says, annoyed at the haste. Her phone has bumped down to the floor.

"We've hit someone. Come on out, fast ! ", Frost unbolts the door and steps out into the cold night air. Evergreen comes out too.

"It's a girl ! Oh my god what did we do ?", she gasps.
Her exclamation echoes all around.

** Well, in case you are curious, the song that was playing in the party was 'Shut up and dance' by Walk the moon. Really love that song.
