EXT. WOODS – LATER

Halley, Sage, Travis, and Nelson stop running. Halley searches the woods.

HALLEY

Does anyone have any idea which way the car is?

Travis points in one direction.

TRAVIS

That way.

HALLEY

Are you positive?

TRAVIS

(beat) No.

Sage flips through her camera and stops at a photo of a tree.

SAGE

I know where it is.

Nelson looks closer at the photo.

NELSON

Is that chewed gum?

SAGE

I like to leave my mark. The car is this way.

She leads the way, sliding her hand along the bark of each tree until they're near the edge of the woods.

HALLEY

There it is!

They pick up speed. Sage notices that the thing gets caught by something. She turns back around and tries to free it from a bush. Travis goes back for her.

TRAVIS

Sage, we have to let it go. It's what it wants.

Sage pouts but lets it go and they run after the others.

They reach the road just as Dru's headlights beam at them. He stops.

HALLEY

It's Dru!

DRU

Guys, hop in.

They all jump in and cram up in the backseat. Halley slaps the headrest.

HALLEY

Go, go, go!

Dru pulls off.

NELSON

What about my car?

WYNTER

(dialing her phone) I'll call for a tow.

NELSON

No!
