INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY – NEXT DAY

Halley, Nelson, Sage, and Travis walk down the hallway in synch, all wearing plaid. Halley wears a maroon blazer over a plaid dress and a plaid knapsack. Nelson wears a plaid flannel shirt. Sage wears a plaid scarf beneath her camera. Travis wears plaid glasses and matching plaid suspenders. Principal Peters observes them curiously.

PRINCIPAL PETERS

I thought after I did away with the uniform policy you would be done with plaid.

HALLEY

Someone once told me that uniforms create unity, and that's what The Plaids are all about.

THE PRINCIPAL PETERS

The Plaids. I like it. Maybe you could find some use for this seeing as I don't need it anymore.

He hands Halley his uniform sketch in a frame and exits.

SAGE

To the Plaids.

Sage holds up her palm. Everyone just stares at her.

SAGE (CONT'D)

You just going to leave me hanging?

They all high five.

ALL

To the Plaids.

The bell rings. Sage and Travis exit. Nelson and Halley continue down the hall.

NELSON

I think I'm going to like having you around, Hal. You are incredibly inspiring.

HALLEY

It's the company I keep.

The exit.

Sage sneaks out of an empty stairwell and moves to her locker. She checks her surroundings before opening it. Inside, lies a collection of odd miscellaneous items including Halley's chiseled apple titled "Teacher's Pet." She places a baggie of dark hair labeled "Head of School" next to her white painting titled "Feetom of Speech." She shuts her locker.

SAGE

Done.
