INT. KINDERGARTEN CLASSROOM – LATER

Halley and Nelson enter. The kids are finger painting. One of them is painting his face.

HALLEY

They're really enjoying this.

NELSON

Who wouldn't? They can make as much of a mess as they want and their parents will still hang it on their fridge.

Tomas Stride enters.

TOMAS STRIDE

If only adults were so generous.

He offers his hand and they shake.

TOMAS (CONT'D)

Tomas stride. My kid is the one with the paint on his face.

NELSON

I'm Nelson and this is Halley. We're volunteers.

TOMAS

It's wonderful to see young people supporting such a great cause. I've been a patron of this program from the very beginning. It's by far my favorite charity.

NELSON

Your kind donations are greatly appreciated, sir. It keeps art going.

TOMAS

I'm a big fan of art, so I support it any way I can. You never know. The next great artist could be in this very room.

Tomas strolls around the room. Nelson points to a boy wearing a red beret who is finishing up a shockingly realistic family portrait.

NELSON

I'm guessing it's that guy.

HALLEY

You're doing a great thing here. Thanks for letting me tag along.

NELSON

I'm glad I get to share it with someone who gets it.

They join the kids and start painting.
