So I pull the switch, the switch, the switch inside my head.
And I see black, black, green and brown, brown, brown , brown and blue, yellow, violets, red.
And suddenly a light appears inside my brain
And I think of my ways, I think of my days and know that I have changed.
It's the colors you have
No need to be sad.
It really ain't that bad.

Frank and I had gone to grab dinner at a really nice place. It was a bit late when we got home and I saw Pete and Mikey cuddling on the couch.
"We got married!" I exclaimed.
Mikey jumped at the sound of my voice, jumping up and staring at me with wide eyes and a hand on his chest. "Jesus fucking Christ, you scared me."
"We got married," I repeated, holding out my hand with the ring on it.
"Shit, are you serious?" Mikey asked.
I nodded happily as he looked at the ring.
"Is this grandma's wedding ring?" He asked.
"Elena gave it to me to propose to him," Frank said.
He leaned over and kissed the side of my head while I smiled.
"Congratulations, Frank," Pete said.
Frank smiled proudly, wrapping his arm around my waist.
"Congratulations on you, man, you've finally found your soulmate," Frank said.
Pete looked over at Mikey with a small smile and a blush.
"Yeah, it's great," Pete said.
Pete held onto my hand and I laughed when I saw Miley's eyes light up as he looked around and saw the colors. Was I the same way when I first met Frank? Do I still do that?
"I completely understand now about you leaving Jamia for Gee," Pete said. "There's just something about Mikey that makes me never want to leave him."
I feared that the mention of Jamia would put a damper on the mood but luckily it didn't. Everyone was still just laughing and talking.
"That's like Gee to me," Frank said. "My colorful little angel."
He kissed my cheek and I giggled.
"Okay, sorry to make things serious again," Pete started, "But Brendon heard from Jamia's maid of honor, Sarah, that Jamia is moving out and staying with her brother."
"Shit, seriously?" Frank asked.
"Yeah, after you two talked and you left she called Sarah over and she's helping her pack," Pete said. "They said they think they were going to finish at about midnight. It's really mostly just clothes and makeup and those sorts of things, it's not like she's taking furniture and everything so it won't take too long."
I looked at Frank and noticed how he looked sad.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I feel bad," Frank muttered, sitting down and putting his head in his hands. "I mean, I still care about her. I care a lot. Oh god, I got married so fast. I wasn't even thinking."
I could feel my eyes filling with tears and my lip quivering as I looked at him.
"Y-you don't want t-to marry me?" I whimpered.
Frank looked up at me and held a hand out for me, pulling me into his lap.
"Of course I do, baby," Frank whispered, kissing my forehead.
He carried me down to my bedroom so we could be alone, sitting on the edge of the bed with me cradled in his lap.
"S-so then why'd you say it like you r-regret it?" I asked.
"I didn't mean to, sugar, you know I never would," Frank said. "I want to be with you so badly. You're my husband, my little baby boy."
"I love you so much, daddy," I said, kissing him softly.
"I love you too, sweetheart," Frank replied. "Do you want your paci, baby?"
I nodded my head as he reached over to grab the small object, pressing it against my lips. I brought it into my mouth and smiled in content as I snuggled up against him. Warmth radiated off him, a peaceful sleepiness washing over me.
I've done it, finally. I've found my soulmate. Everything I've been dreaming of since I was little came true. I've married my soulmate, we are gonna have a happy life together. Albeit it wasn't always in the most conventional ways but it happened nonetheless. All my dreams came true because of the man who was currently holding me in his arms.
It seemed like years ago when I bumped into him at the store. He was so scared back then, he didn't know what was going on. The colors were a thing of beauty that I could hardly even comprehend. Even now when I see them, my jaw practically drops every time the colors explode all around me. I probably won't know all the colors, I can basically only name the basic colors (which I learned was called the rainbow). Then I just add light or dark in front of the color. My grandma told me all the shades have different names but that's just so confusing. There's millions and I don't think I'll ever learn them.
But now I can have the life I always wanted. I can be with Frank forever. We can grow old together and have kids. There's nothing stopping us from having a life now. A life that's gonna be so happy. Ever since I was taught of the colors I've been dreaming of finding them. And they're so beautiful. Fuck, I never want to let go of them. I never want to let go of Frank.
"Daddy, why is your favorite color purple?" I asked.
"It's not purple anymore, now it's light blue," Frank said.
I giggled and looked up at him, taking the paci out of my mouth. "Daddy, you keep changing it!"
"It's just so hard to decide," Frank said. "Actually, my favorite color is red, just like you hair."
"Really?" I asked.
He smiled and nodded. I wrapped my arms around him, hugging his body tight against mine. I pulled away and looked at the tattoos that painted his arms. The beautiful artwork creating masterpieces upon his skin. I looked at the one that had the date of which we met. So long ago in the store when I dropped my eggs.
My phone rang suddenly and I jumped in fright. I saw Lindsey's contact name and pressed it against my ear. The first thing I heard was her sobbing and I instantly grew worried.
"Lynz, what's wrong? What happened?" I asked quickly.
"I-I-" she couldn't even seem to form a sentence.
I sat up straight and Frank looked at me in concern. I was so worried I could feel myself slipping out of little space.
"Lindsey, what is it?" I questioned.
"I-I was walking home and th-there were these people moving in n-next door s-so I offered to help m-move boxes," she stuttered, hiccuping with tears. "A-and I heard crying s-so I went into the room and saw J-Jamia. A-and at first I w-was just gonna ignore her b-but felt bad so I w-went to comfort h-her and I-I-I fucking saw it. I-I saw the c-colors."
"So this your happy crying?" I asked.
"Yeah," Lindsey said, laughing. "I-I didn't think it'd b-be her. I-it's so beautiful."
"Oh, Linds, that's so great," I said.
"I-I've gotta go," she said, taking some deep breaths to regain her composure. "Okay, I've gotta go t-talk to her."
"Bye, Lindsey, I'm proud of you," I said.
We hung up and I smiled at Frank. He pulled me back into his arms and kissed me. I smiled in content, feeling myself slipping back into little space.
"What was that?" He asked.
"Lindsey and Jamia are soulmates," I told him. "She was telling me and she was so happy and crying."
Frank smiled and kissed my forehead. "Well, I'm glad. Jamia has the one who's meant to be with her too. We all have our perfect person now. And thankfully I have mine all to myself snuggled up in my lap."
I giggled, putting my paci back into my mouth.
"Daddy," I mumbled quietly.
"Tired, doll?" Frank asked.
I nodded softly and Frank kissed my forehead. He laid us down on the bed, pulling the blanket over our bodies.
"Get some rest, Princess," he said.
I looked up into his shining, pretty hazel eyes as I snuggled closer to him. The colors left as I closed my eyes and fell asleep in his arms.
