I walked inside, my mom looked over and grinned.

"Hey! How was shopping with kaeli?"

"It was great.. got some new clothes...you know..."

She pushed her hair back.

"Can I see them?" She asked.

I froze.

If she sees them, then she'll tell me to return them...or worse she'll force me to tell her why I got party clothes.

"Maybe later...I have A LOT of homework to get caught up on..." I partially lied.

She nodded and went back to cleaning the dishes.

I then practically ran upstairs, pepper right at my heel.

I jumped into my bed with pepper.

"Pepper...I think I made a mistake..." I sighed and pepper tilted her head slightly.

I scratched her ear.

"And it's definitely something that will make mom and dad angry."
