Chapter 44

I walked into the cafeteria.

Lunch is the time of the day where I get to hear a load of cràp while trying to enjoy my hot lunch meal.

I walked down into my everyday line...yeah most people go to dufferent lines everyday...but I literally CRAVE the school Sandwiches...

They are so delicious!
It's almost like a gourmet sandwich...

"Can i have a turkey and cheese sandwich please??" I asked the lunch lady, whose name happens to be Sheryl, politely.

She smiled and whopped up a wresh made sandwich and put it on my tray.

"Thank you." I walked away.

I sat at the table, listening to bullshit about Justin and Gray riding off into the sunset and having seven dwarf children...

Honestly even thinking about what they're saying makes me want to vomit.

"Ugh i want wait to only have four days of school next week." Tiffany smiled while chewing gum...

I don't even understand how I am friends with them...and not some emo kid...or nerds...

Like, literally they are so...not me.
They aren't smart...
They aren't mature.
And they are now missing days of school just to get out of a chem test.

"Kenz? What're you wearing on Friday at the party?" Kaeli asked, her hair in the usual big loose wave style...her eyes staring at me with adventure and joy...

She obvously forgot about her fatigue on Tuesday...that was so bad that she slept on the toilet in the bathroom for all of lunch.
She didn't speak to anyone but me Gray and Tiffany because her breath reeked of alcohol.

"I'm not going..." I said calmly, afterward taking another bite out my sandwich.

"What?" She huffed, "why?" And she puffed.

"Cause she's boring...duh." Gray said, smirking, and rolling her eyes in annoyance.

"Because I'm not going to have my grade drop in chem, just because of a party..." and fake friends...mainly fake friends.

"Seriously, girl??" Tiffany stared at me, waiting for an answer but I didn't answer, i just sat there and she snorted -like a pig- saying "You seriously need to loosen up..."

I took another bite of my sandwich, shrugging my shoulders, not caring much about her comment.

Tiffany started yammering about what she'll be wearing to the party and how many shots she'll be having.

later I we making my way up the stairs into the senior halls which I where my new math class Is located.

I don't understand why they're switching me to this class when there is finals is two weeks.

I guess they figure that if I can ace that test I can ace a final.

That is honestly a dumb assumption though because there may be some questions on the final about stuff I have never learned...

They better at least teach me something in these last few weeks before finals.

I walked into the class, the teacher stopping me the first step I took in the classroom.

"Who are you?"

"I'm ken-"

"Why are you here?"

"Well i-

"Do you need something?"

"No, actually-"

"Then why are you here?"

I swear...this teacher...he is going to get on my nerves.

"Because I'm in this class." I said strictly and he just tilted his head like a confused dog.

"No, your not."

"I was transferred today from a gifted class to calculus." I explained, getting my new schedule out and handing it to him....which he too and studies as though if it was a three step math equation that you are forced to do mentally.

"Ok. Well I'm Mr Chan," he said and I gave him quite a questioning look...but politely I took his hand and shook it...and he continued "its free choice everyday for seating but everyone is already seated so...you can sit..." he gazed around the room "Over by Ritchie." He nodded toward someone

He seriously thinks I know some senior named Ritchie??

I barely have any friends and it seems like I'm losing what do have!
And I'm a junior in a senior class.
It's quite obvious I wouldn't be bothered to know any seniors.

I nodded and walked around to the front of the class and walked toward the one empty seat.
My eyes glued on it...

I also happened to feel the fact that people were staring at me...

It's pretty obvious that I'm a junior...
I'm not in any other core classes with any seniors...enrichment isn't isn't core class so...it doesn't count...but it's very obvious.

I glanced over, breaking the stare between me And my seat...and I noticed Aaron...staring at me darkly...

Everyone else near him on his side of the classroom was either talkimg to friends, on their phone or staring at me as if I'm a confused deer waiting to get hit.

I looked away and back at my seat, thoughts rambled.

Ritchie, despite the fact I've never met him or seen him before...im just going off the name, sounds like an ašs.

I looked over at who I'm sitting by...and I swear...this day couldn't had got any worse.
