Going out of the party she was hit with cold breeze of the sea ....The Blaring music was now just a distant sound as she had reached the deck and admired the night sky and the listening to the soothing music of the ocean waves her hair swaying in all directions...she closed her eyes embracing the good feeling....her eyes jerk open to the sound of bottles breaking when she was man sitting on the edge of the deck probably drunk and mumbling something to himself as he got up stumbling and disoriented as she skeptically looked at him knowing there's a chance he would fall off

"Hey! Hey!don't stand too close to the railing you'd fall down!!" Serafina hurried rushed to him while he gently pushed her off

"Uhh hatto tum....why would you care huh!? Nobody else does why would you care for me....natak karne ki zaroorat nahi hai jaao!" The man yelled back wobbling around in his steps while standing at the end of the deck

"If I will go from here you'd fall to your death idiot!" Serafina admonished pulling him away from the railing

"Haa toh Marne dho na mujhe....sabka bhala ho jaayega!!" He resisted going with her

"Tumhaare marne se kisika bhala nahi hoga bhalki sabko bura lagega!" Serafina tried explaining while also trying to pull him back against his resistance

"Huh!! Jhooti...Meri biwi ko toh accha lagega...Mere marne ke baad Siddarth se shaadi jo karlegi aasaani se!" He replied putting his head down as tears streamed down his cheeks

"Biwi k baare mei nahi apne parents ki toh socho!! Unko kitna buraa lagega....tumhaare bhai behen! Unko bhi toh buraa lagega ...mat karo aisa chalo iss taraf!!" Serafina said pulling him as he complied quietly

"Buraa toh lagega unhe....lekin meri koi behen toh nahi hai....mujhe marr jaana chahiye....nahi mujhe sachmei marr jaana chahiye!!" He began walking back near the railing as Serafina panicked loosing her hold on his hand

"Behen naahi hai na....ab bann gayi! Okay mei Teri behen hoon aur mei tujhe bol rahi hoon chalo mere saath ...chalo!!! Abhi room mei jaake soone ka time hai!" Serafina shouted as he nodded his head like a obedient baby and followed her

"Room no. Konsa hai tumhara?" She asked

"Sahi se bolo!"  Arav asked curtly while still looking at her intently

"What is your room no??" Serafina again asked in confusion

"Arre bada Bhai hoon tera!.... respect dho mujhe...bhai bolo ek acchi baby sister jaise!" He huffed in annoyance folding his hands in front of his chest like a kid standing there tapping his feet with an expectant glare on his face... Serafina rolled her eyes at the ridiculousness but complied nonetheless

"Ha mere bhai...Room no. Konsa hai aapka?" Serafina asked again just as he liked

"Ha yeh Hui na baath! Voh Mera room na...voh...na...!" He kept trailing off

"Voh naa...aage!??" She implored

"Ha voh second floor mei 9th room!" He replied showing 8 fingers

"9 ki 8??" Serafina voiced her confusion

"Arre buddhu!! 9 bolaa na!" He smacked her head  as she frowned rubbing the back of her head looking at him with pout

"9 bolke 8 ungliyaan tum dikha rahe ho aur buddhu mei!?" She murmured lowly as she helped him climb the stairs slowly by putting his hand over her shoulder...the passed the corridors as she had finally reached room
"Keys dho!?" She asked as he began searching keys in his blazer pockets

"Keys dho uske baad kya bolte hai ?" He asked

"Keys dho bhaiyaa!" She huffed complying to each of his drunk demands.

"Ha yaha hai!" He instantly gave her the keys as she opened the door and helped him in and sat him down on his bed, took his shoes off , put a comfy blanket on him and got up to go out

"Ruko Naa! Aise akele mat chodke jaao please 🥺!" He made a puppy face and pushed the blanket aside as he sat up...,"sab mujhe akela chodke chale jaate hai tu bhi jaogi kya?" He asked sadly slightly slurring as she smiled sweetly and sat down with him and listenined to his talks until he dosed off due to the effect of alcohol in his system...She carefully put the blanket over him...Called room service and ordered them to leave Lime juice and ibuprofen for next morning....and came out of the room quietly and made her way back to the room at 12am totally unaware of the eyes on her

Otherside The party was coming to an end while Vansh was busy searching for Rufina who seemed to him disappeared after the dance...
"Rehan? Rufina ko dekha hai?"

"Kyu ab kya chahiye tujhe?" Rehansh glared at him

"Rehan Aisa kyu-"

"Aisa kyu pooch Raha hai tu? Nahi tu bata mene kya bola tha tujhse...ek sorry mangne ko..tu ne maangi sorry? Nahi lekin kya kiya bechari ko kheech liya seedha dance karne ko...yaad bhi hai kya uske pairr pe chot lagi thi..phir bhi voh kaam kar rahi thi...you know what ajkal tumhe-"

"Enough stop it Rehan...agar sorry ki baath kar rahe ho toh mene usse sorry pooch liya! Aur apology k taur par ek dress bhi bheja hai...yeh dekho!" Vansh said showing the dress

"Toh usne toh-"

"Ha vahi toh...vahi poochne gaya tha mei...magar jawab hi nahi deti mujhe? Ignore karti hai...you know how crazy she drives me.... because of all of her antics! Isiliye mujhe ghussa aata hai...lekin yeh meri side toh tumhe sunna hi nahi hai" Vansh yelled out

"Uski chuppi tumhe ghussa dilaata hai? Aawww...baby brother you're so in love!" Rehansh cooed trying to pinch his cheeks which vansh instantly slapped away

"Mazak mat karo Rehan mei serious hoon ab...And Love what love? I don't love her...okay...it's just ..it's actually..voh-" vansh fumbled around trying to find reason why her silence and ignorance affected him so much

"Theek hai mei mazak nahi kartaa aur Tu mujhe jawab mat de...lekin aaj khudse sawal zaroor karna ki kya vajah hai....aur jaldi haa!...Varna pata nahi iss chidiya ko koi aur uda le jaayega..!" Rehansh slyly said pointing at Kabir who came to the deck talking with Rufina as Vansh's jaw clenched seeing the scene of Rufina laughing at something Kabir told while not noticing the burning gaze on them.

"Usse kaise hass hass k baath kar rahi hai...mujhe toh sirf ignore hi karti hai!"Vansh murmured in irritation which Rehan definitely heard

"Kyuki shayad Kabir ne uske pleading ignore  karke..dungeon mei band nahi kiya tha!!" Rehansh shot back to Which vansh gave a sad look he was genuinely guilty for his wrong deeds...Even Rehansh felt hurt while taunting his brother but it's necessary his twinny's actions were outrageous..But his sad eyes and hurt looks melted his resolve ..and seeing that

"Listen I would advise you....shaanti se jaao.... sweetly sorry bolo...lekin zor zabardasti mat karna agar voh baath nahi karna chahti toh!" Rehansh advised patting his shoulder and walked off...As vansh sighed deeply and walked towards the duo.... before he could reach near her...Kabir had left the place making him smile

"Hey! Carefully!!" Vansh said holding her by her waist as she had stumbled slightly

"Uh...Thanks!" She monotonously said getting away from him

"Rufina! Please listen to me once....it's...I mean your anger is very much valid...I didn't do the right thing....I became blind in anger and thought you hurt my brother....He's my life I can't see him get hurt again by a girl which is why I did- I'm sorry there's just no justification for what I did but I assure you I would never ever cause any of such issues for you ever again.... Please forgive me....I was angry at someone else and directed it all Towards you...I am wrong...I would be okay with any punishment you give me...yo-you can hit me...slap me..with sticks? Or I can lock myself in that room whole night..I can-"

"Stop Stop Mr.Raisinghania...Its okay...no need to worry yourself...I accepted your apology earlier....and about what you explained right now...I can totally understand you care for your brother and want to protect...I would definitely do the same for my sibling...so it's fine...I forgave you....But next time know the whole story before you react to something...Good night Mr.Raisinghnia!" She replied and was about to walk away

"Vansh!" He said

"Huh!?"

"Call me Vansh!My name's Vansh if you couldn't remember" He chuckled As she nodded her head with a small acknowledging smile and walked ahead as he felt light after apologizing to her

Reaching the room she was about to knock when her sister too came there
"Bebe!? You weren't in the room?you weren't at the party where were you?" Rufina asked in worry

"Nothing jeez...went to the deck for fresh air...then met a guy who was about to jump off the railing...led him back to his room that's about it!" She casually said

"What!? Who was that?"

"Mr.Arav Mehra...!"

"What!him?..he's such a nice person why would he-"

"See Rufi...that's not my story to say...it's his...and I am supposed to keep shut because i don't think he even wanted to share to me..Even revealing this to you makes me guilty but as a sister I had to share what I saw right now...he was just drunk blabbering about his life in past few months...so he spilled out his secret when he wasn't in his senses I'm not supposed to tell you that! You Understand my situation na belle?" She asked

"Yep definitely bebe...you did the right thing...you saved him...I'm proud of how much you have grown as a person!" Rufina kissed her cheek and both went inside their room... changing themselves and drifting off to sleep

However Rufina wasn't the one to sleep off ...she didn't feel sleepy...so she decided to roam around the deck... Taking a deep breath admiring the silent night and the infinite waves

"Kya hua neend nahi aaya!?" A voice asked

"I could ask the same to you Mr.Raisinghania!" She replied not turning her head to look at the person

"Not Mr.Raisinghania...you could call me Rehansh! i have already told you that!" Rehansh said

"Until I'm working here You're my boss...and people Generally don't call their bosses by their names...so.."

"So voh kuch nahi hai...Rufina...It's me your boss telling you to call me Rehansh...so That's enough permission na?" He asked

"That's enough permission Mr- I mean Rehansh!"

"That's a good girl...well Pairr mei dard kaisi hai ab tumhaari?" Rehansh inquired

"It's fine...chotasa sprain tha... painkiller sey chala gaya pain!" She replied smiling

"Well...voh mei yeh keh raha tha...ki I'm sorry Mere Bhai ne...jo kiya tumhaare saath dance floor pe...I'm sorry if he made you feel uncomfortable with his actions...he didn't actually mean it...voh bass kaafi impulsive hai...aur voh sochta nahi hai apne actions ki consequences k baare mei... please forgive him for one last time...!" Rehansh earnestly asked

"Arre arre...aap dono bhaiyon ko hua kya hai...sorry pe sorry bole Jaa rahe hai...I mean...it's okay I accept your apology...aapne toh pehle bhi humaare dance k dhohraan maangli na sorry...phir apne aapko guilty kyu mehsoos karwaa rahe hai Rehansh....the bygones are bygones... we'll just leave it an move forward...Aap bata na aapke chote kaisi hai?" She asked

"Theek hoon ab...Aur A heart felt thank you again...my saviour!"Rehansh dramatically bowed to her

"Itna thank you.....you should rather treat your saviour with something man!!" She laughed

"Oh ofcourse I would...come to lunch at my house!" Rehansh enthusiastically invited

"That's so sweet but-"

"Not buts... you're coming along with your sister too....we'll have a family lunch at my place...and this is fixed treat from my side!" He said

"Okay okay!" She replied as he handed her a small card with an address

"Yeh kya-"

"Kya laga mei jhoot bol raha hoon...? This one right here is my house address VR Mansion....I'd love to have you and your sister at our Place for lunch this Sunday okay?" He asked

"Okay!" She sighed

"Waise neend naa aaneki vajah nahi batayi aapne!" Rufina asked

"Aksar pyaar karne waalon ko neend kaha naseeb hoti hai Rufina!" Rehansh sighed

"Pyaar huh!? Who's the lucky girl!that keeps you awake all night?" Rufina asked smiling

"Correction...I'm the lucky guy to have met such a beautiful angel like her!" He said showing Arya's picture...Rufina's eyes widened

"Wow...she's beautiful! Naam kya hai uska??How did y'all meet? Were y'all  friends from childhood?" She asked curiously

"Her name is Arya...Arya Trivedi she's an intern doctor..To answer your other question...No we didn't know eachother since childhood but doesn't mean our bond isn't special...It magical and beautiful to me...You sure wanna know how we met? Because it's a long story...!" He asked as she eagerly nodded... chuckling as he started narrating the story of how he met his Arya and how one day she disappeared

"Rehansh...it's so magical and sweet hear your love story...She's like an angel who rescued you.... Don't be sad My Papa once told me agar hum koi cheez shiddat se chahte hai toh poori kainaat bhi nahi rok sakti hai humme, usse paane se!keep your faith man she would soon come back to you" She told him

"Thank you ..this is the only time someone listened to me or understood me not even my twin...whereas you were patient enough to understand my confusing  feelings and consoled me....it means a lot to me...can we be friends?" Rehansh extended his hand,"Please Rufina?"

"Sure!" She shook his hand

"We're gonna be best friends...I can Feel that already!" He said

"Best friends and all huh? You progress too fast Rehansh!"

"I don't know...it just seems right to progress this fast with you Rufina!" He chuckled as the first Rays of the sun shined through

"Baath karte karte subah hi ho gayi!" They both said at the same time and laughed as they returned to their room to get ready for the day
