"Stark we're on your three heading North East" Nat said as we approached New York City which already looked catastrophic 

"What? Did you stop for drive-through?" There's the sarcastic arsehole! "Swing up park. I'm gonna lay them out for you" The quinjet raced through the sky and before I know it Nat and Clint are shooting at... Aliens? We pull up towards Stark Tower and see Loki and Thor fighting.

Brace Yourself!

"Get down" I shouted as I threw myself and Steve, pulling him to the ground as our engine was shot and we began spiralling out of control

"We can't hold this much longer!" Nat shouted back to us

"Eleanor, you can do what you did with the ship!" Steve exclaimed as he looked me in the eyes. I shook my head as he just nodded at me "You can do it El. We all believe in you. We need you" he said as I tried my best to stand up

"KEEP HER STEADY" I shouted to Nat and Clint as I closed my eyes and pulled my arms up, pulling the wind to keep us up in the air, I felt the turbulence ease slighlty and the strain continued on my arms

"Keep her there whilst we try take a few down" Nat asked as I nodded

"I can't hold her for much longer Nat so make it quick!" Suddenly I felt a body behind mine and a pair of arms holding mine up. Steve. The strain eased slightly but we were both struggling "NAT!" I shouted

"It's OK Eleanor, I've got you" Steve said as he winced in pain whilst helping hold my arms up

"OK! BRING US DOWN" Clint screamed

"Steve, we need to slowly move our arms down or we'll crash!" I shouted as I looked back at him, he nodded and began to breathe deeply "3... 2... 1..." I said as we began to lower our arms together, before we knew it we landed safely on the ground and Steve and I collapsed to the ground on top of one another

"OK love birds, fight ain't over yet" Nat said as her and Clint walked past us, lowering the door of the quinjet. I got up and offered a hand to Steve to help him up with he gladly took

"Thanks" I smiled as he returned it back to me, we both ran out on the chaotic streets of New York with Clint and Nat and looked to the top of Stark Tower where we would see a portal opening and more of these Alien things coming out. Holy shi-

"We gotta get back up there!" Steve shouted as we stopped in the street. There was a loud growl and the portal opened wider before what I can only describe as a Monster flew out towards us. It must've been larger than a whale! How in the world were we going to defeat that?! As it flew over us even more Aliens began to shoot out of it and cling to the walls of nearby buildings. "Stark, are you seeing this?" Cap asked 

"Seeing. Still working on believing" he said over the intercom "Where's Banner? Has he shown up yet?" he asked 

"Banner?" I asked as I looked between the four of us

"Just keep me posted" Tony replied as he flew parallel to the monster. The other Aliens were flying over us on some form of spaceship motorbike thing and shooting out beams at anything they could. Then one with what looked to be Loki on one of them flew past us

"Loki" I growled

"They're fish in a barrel down there" Cap said, looking at the road below the bridge, Nat and Clint began shooting at some Aliens that had landed on the bridge and Nat looked to Steve and I 

"We got this. It's good, go" she said as we both nodded

"You think you can hold them off?" Cap asked as Clint looked back at him 

"Captain... It would be my genuine pleasure" Clint smirked as I looked at Cap. I told him, even men adored him. Clint began shooting as did Nat to lay down some cover as Steve and I ran off the side of the bridge. Rogers used his shield to help with his fall on a bus before jumping on a car, which then exploded, sending him flying to the ground which he managed to perfectly land whilst I used the wind to slowly help me down. We both set off running towards the police. Steve jumping over cars and me running around them before we eventually came to them. Steve jumped on the bonnet of their car and they all looked at him 

"You need men in these buildings. There are people inside and they're going to be running right into the line of fire. You can take them to the basements or through the subway but you keep them off the streets" he demanded

"We also need a perimeter as far back as 39th" I added, pointing over to 39th

"Why the hell should we take orders from you?" the cop said as I threw him a look, just then a huge explosion came from behind us, I swung myself around and the fire was coming towards us and the police. I raised my hands and moved the fire in the other direction and towards the flying freaks, killing a few on the ground and in the air before turning back around, just then a few Aliens dropped next to Steve and he had no hesitation in hitting them with his shield or any other part of his body to kill them. He grabbed the gun from the last of them and hit it back with his shield, causing it to crash into the building and die. He then stood up straight and looked at the police who were now gawking at him 

"Because he's Captain fucking America and I'm pissed off!" I shouted as the police looked at me and turned back around to his men before giving him the orders the Cap and I told him to do. 

"Pissed off? I don't think that's the best superhero name" he joke as he looked at me and smiled and we began to run back to the bridge "Need a boost?" I asked him as we approached the bridge, he looked at me and nodded and with that I sent a gush of wind, throwing us both up to the top of the bridge. Steve landed on a few Aliens, saving Clint and Natasha from them and I saw an Alien ready to shoot at him whilst his back was turned. I quickly ran in front of him and placed my arms out, with my eyes closed ready to blow away the shot but instead I didn't hear it explode. I opened my eyes and saw the gleam of energy in front of me. I was controlling it, Clint, Nat and Steve all looked at me with wide eyes as I smiled "Shit just got interesting" I smiled and pushed my arms out whilst separating them, allowing the energy to separate and hit many of the freaks in front of me. I turned to the guys and smiled which they returned, Clint then raised his bow and arrow ready to shoot what looked to be me until it flew past me and into an Alien, there were still many others around it and before I could blow them away lightening came down on them and they all dropped to the ground before Thor landed next to me.

"What's the story upstairs?" Cap asked Thor as he looked up 

"The power surrounding the cube is impenetrable" Thor said

"Thor's right. We got to deal with these guys" I heard Tony say as more flew around us

"How do we do this? Nat asked

"As a team" Steve and I said in unison

"I have unfinished business with Loki" Thor announced

"Yeah? Well get in line" I laughed

"Ditto" Clint added on 

"Save it guys" Cap shunned "Loki's going to keep the fight focused on us and that's what we need" he began as he walked through the group of us "Without him, these things could run wild. We got Stark up top. He's going to need us too..." Before he could finish the sound of a motorbike (an actual one not an alien one) came from behind him with Bruce riding it. He got off it and we walked towards him 

"So... This all seems horrible" he says, looking at all of us

"I've seen worse" Natasha sasses as she raises an eyebrow at him, Bruce threw her an apology before she responded "No. We could use a little worse"

"Stark we got him"Rogers said down the intercom

"Banner?" he asked

"Just like you said"

"Well tell him to suit up... I'm bringing the party to you" Just then Tony came flying from down the street and behind him the huge flying monster, how did I nearly forget about that?

"I don't see how that's a party" Nat joked as I chuckled, as Tony got closer to the ground the monster did too, knocking cars out of its way 

"Dr Banner" Steve said as Bruce began walking towards the thing "Now might be a really good time for you to get angry" he said, he wasn't wrong. Bruce is an amazon member of the team and has some brains on him but he's no match for that... Thing. The Hulk however? He is.

"That's my secret, Captain" Bruce laughed as he continued walking but faced us, "I'm always angry" and with such perfect timing he turned around, changed into the Hulk and punched the Jurassic Park looking monster in the middle of its face. It was like a scene from a movie. The monster flipped over and Tony hit it in what looked to be a wound with a missile. There was a huge explosion and I help my hands up, a gust of wind blowing the thing so it didn't land on top of us. We looked around, all getting ready for the next wave of aliens coming at us. I heard the Hulk roar, Clint prepared another arrow, Natasha reloaded her guns and Thor picked up his hammer. However when I looked up, more of these huge beasts were coming out of the portal alongside many other aliens. Great!

"Call it Captain" Tony said as we all looked at the portal

"Alright listen up. Until we can close that portal, our priority is containment. Barton, I want you on that roof, eyes on everything, call out patterns and strays. Stark, you got the perimeter. Anything gets more than 3 blocks out, you turn it back or you turn it to ash" He explained

"Want to give me a lift?" Barton asked, looking at Tony as he approached him

"Right, better clench up, Legolas" he said before taking off with Clint

"Thor, you got to try and bottleneck that portal. Slow them down. You got the lightning. Light the bastards up" he said as Thor nodded and set off "Eleanor, I want you on the Stark building helping Thor. I've seen you push back many things so see what you can do. Anything gets too heavy for you or it's not working come back and join us. Nat and I will be here, keeping the fight on the ground" he said as I smiled at him "And Hulk..." he said as we all turned to Banner "Smash" It didn't take long before Hulk jumped up at a building, smashing various different Aliens and throwing them about. I looked up to the Stark building as I took a deep breath, I've never flown up that high or flown for that long before but I was not going to let anyone know tha- "Hey are you OK?" Steve asks as I look at him, smile and nod "I know you're not a damsel in distress but stay safe out there" he added as I looked back at him and then back up to the Stark building "I can't sight see in New York without a tour guide" he smiled as he saw the smile drop from my face "Do you think you can make that?" he asked as an Alien dropped beside me and without even looking I flung my arm out and a gush of wind blew it against and smashed it into a wall

"Captain..." I said as I looked at him "That bastard killed my only family" I angrily said as all of a sudden I shot up from the ground towards the building. I ensured I made it over the lip and landed on the roof as a man greeted me "You must be Eric... I'm sorry" I said as I flung my hand up and the grass between the cracks of the flags grew and wrapped around his feet. You can do this. I looked up at the portal which was being hit with a lot of lightning by Thor "GO THOR, I'VE GOT THIS" I shouted down the intercom and the lightning stopped, I pulled my arms up and pushed towards the portal, pushing each Alien back into there. The strain got harder and harder  as I fell to my knees but kept my arms up, there was some talk on the intercom but I didn't catch it, I was too focused on keeping those things in there. "Guys I don't know how much longer I can hold this!" I shouted 

"Remember how you sort of control the weather too"  Tony said through the intercom as he landed beside me, I looked at him with a puzzled look on my face "There aren't many tornados in New York" he said as I shook my head

"Tony I can't do it!" I shouted as he lifted his mask

"You can do it kid, don't tell Captain but you're the strongest one of us here... And the most emotional... Tap into that" he said as his helmet flipped back on and he took off "Thor, lead as many as you can near the portal for me" Tony said over the intercom. I closed my eyes and tried to concentrate. I need to focus. My Mum. My Dad dying. My family abandoning me. The man who wanted to drug me on my last job. Loki. My Uncle Phil being murdered. Tony being an arse. My Uncle never got to see his cards being signed. Nick Fury hiding stuff from us. S.H.I.E.L.D in general. You've got this sweetheart. I'm here. Mummy? I let out a huge scream and opened my eyes. Seeing the unbelievable, the wind I was controlling had formed a tornado and everything near it was getting sucked in. Everything coming out of the portal wasn't able to leave the wind I had created. You can lower your arms, it's stable. I slowly lowered my hands and the tornado stayed up. It was holding up exactly where it was. "Holy shit kid, you did it!" 

"It's holding on its own guys. I'm coming down to you" I said as I jumped off the building, I allowed the wind to slow myself down before landing on the ground. 

"Captain, the bank on 42nd past Madison. They've cornered a lot of civilians in there" Clint said

"I'm on it" I was right next to 42nd, may as well give a helping hand

"Meet you there Cap" I smirked as I jumped through the window an Alien had let off what I can only imagine was a grenade as it was flashing and beeping. One attempted to shoot me but I bounced the energy back at it. The Cap then came through the window and threw his shield at the one with the grenade, making it drop it. He jumped behind a table as the others shot at him and kicked the table at the two. Steve was grabbed by an Alien and flipped over it whilst the other shot at him. The beeping increased rapidly and I looked at the alien struggling to pick it up "CAP! IT'S GONNA BLOW" I shouted at him as he grabbed me and held his shield up to protect us both. The grenade went off and we were blown out the window. I tried to put my hands out to help break our fall but I was too late. We crashed onto the roof of a car, Steve ended up falling on top of me. We both groaned in pain as he lifted his head up and looked at me. I never noticed the piercing blue eyes he had before this moment. "Erm... Captain... Is that a gun in your pocket or are you happy to see me?" I chuckled as he looked at me confused "Oh you don't get that reference. Erm... Your-"

"Oh" he said as he jumped off me and began to blush "I'm sorry" he muttered as I chuckled,

"Don't sweat it. Lets get back to- shit" I cursed as I saw the tornado I have created dissolve "We got a problem guys" I told everyone down the intercom

"I can guarantee I have a bigger one" Stark replied as Thor jumped down next to us and we continued to fight the aliens. There were so many of them and I turned around to blow a chunk of them away and saw Steve get hit in the stomach

"STEVE!" I shouted as Thor hit a car and it tumbled into the rest of them. He held his hand out for Steve

"Are you ready for another bout?" he asked as I ran over to them, Steve was clutching his stomach

"What? Are you getting sleepy?" Steve chuckled as Thor held his hand out and his hammer returned to him 

"I can close it, can anybody copy?" Nat said over the intercom "I can shut the portal down"

"Do it!" Steve shouted

"No, wait" Stark asked, why would we need to wait? Is this what his bigger problem was? "I got a nuke coming in. It's gonna blow in less than a minute" Steve looked at Thor and I "And I know just where to put it"

"Stark, you know that's a one way trip" Steve said, we didn't hear a response. All we heard next was the whistling of the missile, with Tony underneath it guiding it

"Tony I can use the wind if you want! You don't have to do this!" I shouted through the intercom

"It's too late for that kid" he replied as we watched him curl the missile up towards the portal, not even seconds after he entered it all the aliens collapsed to the ground. Please come back, please come back, please come back.

"Close it" Steve said as I screamed no, he grabbed a hold of me "We have to Eleanor or the whole of New York will be in that explosion" he argued as he tried to hold me still. Suddenly the portal closed and I looked up to see a body falling. He's unconscious. "Son of a gun"

"TONY!" I shouted as I pushed Steve off of me with a gush of wind and flew up in the air towards him. I bumped into him and began to get my balance before slowly lowering us down to the ground where Steve, Thor and Bruce were.

"How did you-" Steve began to say as I pulled off his helmet to reveal an unconscious Tony "Is he breathing?" he asked as I felt his chest, nothing. I looked up to Steve and Thor. Suddenly the Hulk let out a roar and Tony jerked up.

"You're alive!" I said as I pulled him into a hug

"What the hell?" he asked as I pulled away "What just happened? Please tell me nobody kissed me" he joked, looking at me, I slapped his chest and just laughed

"Nobody kissed you. You're not that lucky... We won" Steve said as he let out deep breaths

"All right, yay! Hurray, good job guys. Let's just not come in tomorrow. Let's just take a day" he exclaimed as I giggled "Have you ever tried Shawarma?" he asked "There's a Shawarma joint about two blocks from here. I don't know what it is, but I want to try it"

"We're not finished yet" Thor said as he looked at me "I know you mean to kill my brother. I understand bu-"

"No. You can take him Thor, take him and let him be punished. There have been too many deaths today" I said thinking of my Uncle. Steve looked at me and smiled

"Then Shawarma after?" Tony asked

"I think we may have flattened the building I'm afraid" I joked as he threw me a look "Come on big guy, let's go get Loki" I said as I pulled Tony up "You want a lift?" I chuckled as he nodded "I'll meet you guys up there" I smiled and I grabbed onto Tony and flew up to an early smashed window at Stark Tower. Thor and Cap joined me shortly after, followed by the Hulk. Hawkeye and Nat were already there "Howdy" I smiled at them both,

"I'm guessing it was you who left Eric tied up on the roof?" Nat chuckled as my eyes went wide "It's alright, looks like it got him to snap out of Lokis trance so he could help us" Just then we heard a groan from Loki and our eyes diverted to him as he looked at us.

"If it's all the same to you. I'll have that drink now" he said as he sat up and groaned. Good, be in pain bitch.

"Alright, get him on his feet" Tony said "We can all stand around posing up a storm later" he added on "By the way feel free to clean up"

"Ouch, going to take a lot to fix these holes in the floor. Did you do these?" I smirked at Loki, knowing full well he was slammed into the floor by the Hulk

"Who gets the, uh, magic wand?" Nat asks as she carries it

"S.T.R.I.K.E team's coming to secure it" Cap says as I look at the broken glass on the floor, I pull my arms together and the wind sweeps it all up into pile

"That's my cleaning done" I chuckled, just then the lift opens up and low and behold the S.T.R.I.K.E team enter, ready to take back the scepter

"We can take that off your hands" Jasper Sitwell says as he grabs the staff from Nat  

"By all means" she smiles at him "Careful with that thing"

"Yeah unless you want your mind erased" Clint adds as he passes Nat a drink "And not in a fun way... Want one?" he asks me as I shake my head

"Not just yet I don't think" Sitwell put the staff in a box 

"We promise to be careful" he chuckles

"On my way down to co-ordinate search and rescue" Cap says as he walks past me "You coming?" Just then Loki shape-shifts into Cap and repeats what he says 

"Hey" I said as we got into the lift "You did good today" I smiled as he returned it

"So did you Eleanor. You created a tornado! Your Uncle would be so proud" he said as he placed his hand on my shoulder, a shiver runs down my spine again and I fight the urge to pull away from him instead just sending him another smile "But I definitely think we should wait until New York is cleaned up before you tour guide me through sight seeing" he joked
