Hey ya'll!! So this is a PART 3 of Wow that has been requested by my awesome friend CollinsandDevan2 please be sure to follow her and show some love!! And SRY I KNOW MY TOP EDIT LOOKS STUPID BUT I RUSHED IT😂😂 Here is a recap from the last short;

...Devan started showing off his moves with smooth flair, and Maria applauding him, "Oh my gosh how are you so good at everything? Painting, sculpting, dance, what's next? Magic??" The boy blushed and laughed a little, "I don't know if I'd be as good as Collins." She laughed poking at his chest, "Sure you could! If you tried hard enough you could make a run for his money." Devan knew she was only kidding and chuckled along with her.

His heart began to flutter with his shyness leaving him. She was really amazing, he thought as he watched her jump up and down to the music. Her smile began to grow and her hair flung around at such grace no words could describe....

...Collins turned to Maria, "It was nice meeting you Maria. How long will you be in the area?" The young girl responded, "My family's actually moving here in a few weeks so you'll be seeing me a lot." Collins glanced at Devan knowingly but didn't give much attention to it, "That's great! We'll see you tomorrow then." Devan said bye to the twins and then he went to Maria, "I'll see you later, Maria." Maria smiled back, "Okay, I had so much fun with you tonight. I hope we can do this more often." Devan nodded feeling butterflies in his chest, "Of course."

Unexpectedly, Maria leaned in and pecked the young key on the cheek. She pulled away with a sly smile, "Have a nice night, Devan." Speechless and overjoyed, the boy just grinned like a fool as the girl walked off and her cousins shut the door. Squeals could be heard from the other side by the twins causing Collins to laugh a little as the boys walked towards the jeep, hopping in quickly. The older one put his foot on the gas, driving down the rode, "Soo..how did you enjoy tonight, Devan?" How did he enjoy tonight? How he enjoy her? What word could describe that?  Devan sighed happily, "Wow."...

Devan sat in the living room scanning for any good shows that might be on. Nope. Nah. Seen that. The Flash? Hmm..this looks interesting.., he thought in his mind. As he was about to actually get into the show, Collins pounces on the couch, about crushing him in the process, "Yo bro! Guess what??" The younger one grunted, pushing Collins away from him, "What? I'm trying to watch a show here." His brother continued to wear a dorky smile across his face. He must have an amazing idea for a Youtube video or just set something fun up with someone, Devan thought unamused.

Collins blurted out, "We're hanging out with Roni, Nessa and Maria at a pool today!" Devan's crystal blue eyes widened at the announcement. They were going to hang out with Maria? HE was going to hang out with Maria?? The young boy couldn't contain his happiness, "Are you serious?" The older one nodded feeling as if he did a good thing, "Yep, we're meeting up at two, so get into your trunks cause we'll be leaving in thirty minutes."

In an instant, Devan raced up the stairs to find his navy blue swim trunks. He put them on quickly, feeling himself get more excited by the second. He was going to see Maria again, the girl that had the silky dark hair, those dimples that made him smile so bright, the ability to make him get out of his comfort zone. The girl to that makes him say..wow.

Finally he was all ready, all set for what the day could bring until dark clouds began to blow over him. Devan looked at his reflection in the mirror and saw the one thing he most dreaded about himself, his skinniness. He look down at his noodle arms and frowned. He's always struggled with being able to get muscle and nothing seemed to work. What if Maria will get turned off if he didn't have abs? The young man went to his dresser and grabbed a t-shirt.

"Dev, you coming?" His brother called, mimicking what he had done the other day by standing outside the door. Devan gave a half smile, "Almost." He put his t-shirt on and look at himself again in the mirror. As ready as I'll ever be, he thought. Plastering a fake smile on his face, the young key grabbed his crocks and headed out of the bedroom.

{Time Skip}

The Key Brothers arrived at the Merrell's house to pick them up for the pool. Collins turned towards his brother and asked, "Wanna head up and get them or just me?" Devan didn't look up at him for a long minute causing the other to worry, "Dev?"

"Oh, um you can go up and get them..," the younger one finally said. Collins put a hand on the boy's shoulder, "Hey, you okay?" Devan shrugged looking up at him, "I'm just a little nervous." His brother gave a reassuring smile, "Don't be, you're gonna do awesome and sweep Maria off her feet." The boy cracked a smile, "Thanks, bro." The older one patted his arm, "Anytime. I'm gonna go get the ladies." He winked which made the two laugh. As soon as his brother left, Devan began to frown. Will he be good enough for her?

{Time Skip}

Collins had gotten the Merrell's and they all greeted one another happily. They all rode in the car to the pool. The music blasted "Cake by the Ocean" and the girls laughed and sang magnificently to it, even Maria. Devan couldn't get enough of her voice as she harmonized with her cousins. She sounded like a mix of Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato. Wow.

Finally, the group reached their destination, hopping out one by one. Veronica gave her boyfriend a kiss, "Hey babe. Missed ya." Collins smiled, "I missed you too, beautiful." Nessa giggled at them and Maria turned to Devan, "Hey, twinkle toes." Devan made a confused smirk, "Twinkle toes?" She giggled, "Well, you do dance, don't ya?" He felt himself grow red, "Um..yeh I guess I do." The boy felt like facepalming himself, Don't be stupid Devan!

Roni smiled at all of them, "So, should we all go to the pool?" Everyone smiled at the idea except Devan. He was still feeling self conscious and didn't respond. No one looked to notice so so he just hung back. What he didn't know was that Maria did notice, "Devan, are you feeling okay?" The young boy felt her pull on his arm. Collins turned around and noticed the two not following, "Is something wrong?" Before the brother could respond, the beauty next to him answered instead, "We'll be there in a minute." The other was about to argue but decided against it and walked toward the pool with the twins.

When they were gone, Maria turned to him, "So what's up?" Devan wasn't sure if he wanted to tell her. What if she judge him? Thought he was an idiot? But...he felt he could trust her. The boy sighed in defeat, "I'm just..not sure how you would feel about me because of my noodle arms." The girls eyes grew with confusion, "What are you talking about?" Devan looked down at his hands, "I mean..aren't you into those guys with the super model body and frame?"

Suddenly the girl began to laugh. Why was she laughing? Maria gave him a warm smile, "Devan, I don't care if you have abs or not! I like you for you..and I think you're amazing." His heart began to quicken, "Really?"

"Of course!"
"So..you don't think I'm stupid?"
"I think you're stupid to come with a dumb theory like that," she said, crossing her arms. Devan shrugged sheepishly, "Is there anyway you could forgive me?" Maria looked up to the sky then back at him with a sly smirk on her face, "I can think of one thing.." Devan felt himself get butterflies as she moved closer to him, "What's that?" The girl giggled bring her lips towards him, "This."

Suddenly, Maria leaned in and planted her lips on Devan's and began to kiss him. Although he knew that's what she was inferring, fireworks began to explode in his stomach. This couldn't be happening! He was kissing her?? No, she was kissing him?? She was kissing him!! He closed his eyes and enjoyed the moment as it lasted a few more seconds.

Soon it ended as she began to pull away. Maria giggled, "How did you like it?" Devan just grinned like a dork, "..wow." She laughed once more and grabbed his hand tightly, "Come on, let's join the others." Devan smiled at her as he let her lead him through the gate towards the pool.

So there you have it!! Sorry it was kind of a short one ya'll I was rushing through this to get it posted today cause I'm getting excited for my next short story I'll be posting in two days! I know this wasn't my best chapters I'm sorry! If you wanna see more of this lemme know and I'll continue! I'll make it up to you in the next short story I Promise!!
