I quickly hurried to the table where I saw Emily and her friends eating lunch

"OMG Abby have you been crying" cried Emily in a shocked tone

I quickly pulled out my pocket sizes mirror and realised I have bright red puffy eyes. Thanks God

"Um yeah" I stumbled over the right words to say, so I just came out with it " I was pushed up against a locker by a really scary guy called Dan until some over guy came along called Phil and saved me" I rambled all in one breath

A chorus of OMG's rang around the table.

"Abby I'm so sorry Dan must have really scared you" Emily said holding onto my hand.

"Wait how do you know who Dan is" I questioned

"He's the school's bad boy player but the sad thing is he's so rich so he can get away with anything he wants" explained a girl at the table

"If he gets into trouble his parents just pay the school to keep them quite" explained another girl.

"But he actually talked to you, God he never talks to anyone" said Emily with a confused look on her face.

"OMG WHAT IF HE LIKES YOU" she quickly blurted out.

"Ugh god no would I ever like him he's a jerk" I quickly stated trying to not show the pinkness in my cheeks.

Like he was cute but an absolute asshole and I had a boyfriend any way

" I keep telling you babe, you just can't call me a jerk like that" a thick British accent said from behind me.

The whole table went quiet, I could tell everyone was afraid of what Dan could do so decided to keep their mouths shut.

But being stupid old me i just couldn't contain my anger

"Yep you are a jerk actually DAN, and you better believe it" I retorted standing up and turning to face him.

I suddenly felt a hand grab my arm an I was pulled rudely into Someone's chest.

"Be careful what you say babe, wouldn't want you getting hurt" Dan said his cool breath fanning the skin in my ear lobe. I shuddered. this boy did something to me. he was a complete idiot but I so deeply madly wanted him.

He then threw my arm down by my side and walked away, but not without turning around and giving me a wink which had butterflies growing in my stomach!

When I got home I slumped down on my bed.

Today had been weird a mixture of emotions. why can't I just be normal like everyone else. I had to be shoved up against a locker but the school bad boy you everyone says now has a thing for me. WHAT!!!

My phone suddenly beeped making me jump. I slowly climbed out off my bed and went to grab it. pressing the green button without looking at the caller ID

"Hey babe" slurred someone on the other end. God who was drunk calling me at 5 in the afternoon.

"Who is this" I replied in a pissed off tone

"This is Dan the new amazing love of your life" stated the caller

OMG how did he get my number and why was he saying i was the love of his life!

"How did you get my number" I said shocked

"Secrets babe, secrets" dan said in such a smug voice

"Ughh you are so annoying why don't you just leave me alone" I complained

"Because babe if I did, you would be so upset" said dan so smugly I wanted to kill him

Of course he was right, why was he right. Abby you've known this guy 3 hours and your already swooning. pull yourself together women!

There was suddenly a loud bang on the other end of the line.

"Dan what happened" I asked alarmed

"Ummm Abby do you think you could pick me up near the park" dan asked quietly

"NO" I shouted " your an idiot why should I help you?"

"Because if you do this babe, ill do anything you want" dan seductively whispered

"Fine I'm in" Jesus Christ I was a pushover "ill be there in 10 minutes max"

"Thanks babe, I won't forget this"

When I reached the park I noticed a tall figure sat on the curb and behind him was a wrecked up car which looked liked it had been driven into a tree

"OMG DAN YOU WERE DRUNK, ON YOUR PHONE AND DRIVING AT THE SAME TIME" I shouted getting out of my car and slamming the door behind me

"Umm yep that pretty much sums up what happened" replied Dan sheepishly.

"Okay so where do we go from here" I asked not really knowing what to do now.

"Drive me back to my house" dan said rudely without so much as a please

"Some manners would help" I mumbled but this time quietly enough that he wouldn't hear me.

He got in the car and it was awkwardly silent at first until he decided to turn in my CD player.

"MIDNIGHT MEMORIES" screamed through the car

"OMG I'm so sorry I didn't know it was on that loud" I quickly stated my face going a bright shade of pink. I was never going to tell him, I was secretly raving in my car on the way to school

He huffed and turned over so he was looking out of the window.

The ride back was completely silent after that and very awkward. The only words spoken between the two of us was Dan telling me "left" or "right".

We finally reached his house and turned into the driveway.

"WOW" I was amazed. this house, more like mansion, was huge. it was also really beautiful in a subtle way.

"You like" Dan asked

"Dan it's beautiful" I exclaimed. I liked seeing this nicer side of Dan, I could tell that he didn't show very often to people.

"Well hurry up" dan said rudely. so much for being nice.

"Ughh why are you being so ungrateful, I picked you up after you had been a jerk to me all day" I shouted

"Abby" he taunted because I called him a jerk.

"No I will not listen to you, you have no authority over me" I shouted

"I was gonna ask , do you want to come inside and look at the house" he sheepishly asked, looking down at his feet.

"Oh" I was taken aback "ummm sure" now I felt mean for being a bitch. I awkwardly got out of the car and walked over to the front door.

Dan pushed it open and walked inside.

I was gob smacked, his house was so beautiful, it made my house look like a garbage truck.

"OMG I love it" I exclaimed

Dan laughed. That laugh was so sexy. it was like heaven. I made a promise to myself to never forget that sweet sound.

"Umm so do you want something to eat or drink or we could watch a movie or something..." he stirred over what to say ( something I found adorable)

"Can I have something to eat please" I asked and at the exact moment my stomach growled.

"Yeah looks like you need feeding up" dan laughed as my face turned a crimson pink. He walked into what I could only imagine was the kitchen and I followed behind.

I stopped abruptly as I saw a beautiful picture hanging up on the wall. I was admiring it when I felt someone barge into me.

"Shit" I heard a familiar voice .

"Phil?" I questioned looking up at him " what the hell are you doing here!"
