Tried to make this really cute but probably came out really cliche sorry x

I opened the door to reveal Dan leaning on my door frame and looking at the floor. He quickly looked up when he noticed I had opened the door.

"Wow... um" he stuttered which I found adorable "you look great" he stammered biting in his lip ring.

"You look great too" I added which was completely a lie.

He looked bloody amazing

He was wearing black skinny jeans and this black top with a white circle on it. really cute and not too smart so I looked fine in what I was wearing.

"So shall we ma lady" he laughed holding his arm out for me to hold.

I giggled "what is it with the English and manners"

"Well we are very polite gentleman here" he smiled proudly puffing his chest out

"Yeah we Americans should take a leaf out of your book" we were walking towards his car now and he opened the car door for me. he was being so nice to me. I hope this lasts for the night?

I laughed again looking down at my lap.

"Why you laughing?" Dan questioned

"Just remembering how I got in this car yesterday" I smiled turning to look at Dan

He smirked "yeah I killed my back lifting you up"

"Rude" I exclaimed hitting his arm playfully "but seriously never pick me up again I'm warning you" I gave him a stern look showing him I was serious

"Scouts honour" he said sitting up and giving me a salute

I giggled again "so Daniel where are we off to tonight? I asked, I still had no idea where we were going

"Secrets darling secrets" Dan smirked starting the car and pulling out of my driveway

"Huh no fair" I grumbled "please tell me I hate surprises"

"No you're just going have to wait and see" he enjoyed annoying me I could tell

"Okay so at least tell me how long this car journey is gonna be" I pleaded

"About 15 minutes, is that okay with you princess" he smiled looking at me

"Princess that's a new one" we both laughed

"And my favourite" I quietly added thinking that Dan hadn't heard but I knew he had when I saw him smirk out of the corner of my eye.

The rest of the car journey was filled with Dan and I making small talk and laughing a lot. it was really cute to be honest how we hardly knew each other but acted like we've known each other for years. me and Dan just kind of clicked and I liked that about us.

Finally Dan pulled over to a small car park right by a hill. it looked really British and like I had just stepped out of dowton abbey.

"Dan" I asked "where are we?"

"Right so this isn't the place" he laughed" we just have to walk for about 5 minutes to reach the spot" he climbed out of the car and so did I before I was shouted at

"Get back in the car!"

"Ugh why?" I was frustrated I just wanted to know where we were

"So I can open your door so I look like a proper gentleman" Dan simply said a bit embarrassed

I instantly smiled closing my car door and sitting back in my seat so Dan could open the door for me.

He did so and then grabbed my hand intwining our fingers.

I stiffened at his touch. not because I didn't like it just because I was shocked at the simple gesture.

"Oh sorry umm are you okay with this" Dan motioned towards our hands.

"Yeah" I simply replied squeezing his hand so he knew I was fully okay with it.

He was being so thoughtful. I had never seen this side of Dan before and I was in love with it.

We walked up into the woods for about five minutes until we reached a clearing.

Suddenly I felt Dan drop my hand and put them on my eyes

"Daniel what the hell are you doing" I half shouted, I was worried at what he had planned

"Awrr come on Abigail, trust me this surprise has to be bloody amazing" he said leading me further forward until he quickly stopped

"Okay now close your eyes and no peaking" he removed his hands form my eyes and I heard leafs crunch as he moved away

"Dan what are you up too" I questioned I was so curious I just wanted to look

"Okay you can look in five, four, three, two, one OPEN!!!"

When I opened my eyes I was hit with the most beautiful sight I had ever seen in my life.

We were on top of a hill looking out across the city with all the lights on and too be honest this was absolutely amazing that I really had no words to describe how stunning this view was.

I then looked across at Dan who was standing sheepishly with a small grin plastered on his face.

"You like?" he asked

I did something very unsuspected then

I ran and tackled Dan into a massive hug while he just stood there completely shocked at my actions

"I love it" I whispered into his ear.

I quickly pulled away embarrassed at what I had just said and done.

"I'm sorry I didn't really know what came over me" I giggled awkwardly.

Dan still had this really proud look on his face and took a step closer to me slowly leaning in towards my lips so I could feel his minty breath fan my lips.

What he did next completely took me by surprise he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder.

"What the hell Dan" I screamed laughing "we had an agreement"

"Yeah whatever princess" he laughed making my stomach flutter and then he started spinning around

"No spinning no" I shouted closing my eyes and bursting out laughing.

When suddenly I heard music quickly making both of us stop moving and stand still

"Dan where is that coming from" I asked confused. we were completely alone well at least I think we were?

Dan just smirked and put me back on the ground thankfully.

"I don't know where it's coming from princess" he said pretending to play dumb when in fact I knew he knew exactly where that music was coming from.

"Daniel tell me right now" I demanded placing my hands on me hips

"Why don't I just show you" he said pulling my hand and leading me towards the front of the hill.

Suddenly I recognised which song was being played.

I gasped. no he couldn't of.

"You didn't, Dan tell me you didn't"

He just smirked and pulled me further forward.

The lyrics were clear now

"Simmer down simmer down" a Australian voice rang out across the hill.

Dan just pointed across the city and to where I could see bright flashing lights and people screaming

"OMG I LOVE YOU" I screamed pulling him into another hug.

Dan just stood there smiling so wide "Well I knew you loved 5 seconds of summer and they were playing tonight in our city and I realised you could probably see the stage from the hill so..,

I cut him off pulling him into a massive bear hug again.

"Thank you" I quietly said tears brimming my eyes

"For what" Dan asked with wondering eyes

"For making the best night of my entire life" I smiled so wide. " I have never been this happy before so thank you for making this night so very special for me" I talked as she looked so perfect played in the background.

"Your welcome princess" Dan whispered against my hair.

......

The rest of the night consisted of Dan an I chatting and laughing while 5sos played in the background. we sat on the floor overlooking the city and there was only one word to describe my feelings.

Perfect

Dan was now walking me back towards my door while we held hands swinging them back and forth.

I leaned into his shoulder recalling how great this night had been and smiling at the memory.

" So did I so good" Dan asked. was he seriously asking me this he knew my answer

"You did the best" I smiled spinning around and leaning back on my door while Dan towered over me resting his hands on either side of my head on the door.

"So do I win the bet" he answered smiling cockily but hopefully at the same time

"Well.....

I never got to finish that sentence as the door I was leaning in suddenly swung open. I would have fallen backwards if Dan hadn't caught my hand.

I spun around to see the person I least wanted to see in the world right now

"Nathan!" I choked out
