"Hey Priya! Where were you been idiot?"

Aishu asked me as I entered the class. Praga, Sneha, Shruthi and Anjana looked at me curiously.

Well I was so excited with the events that happened moments ago that my face ended up showing it.

"Seems like it is what I think." Shruthi said to which everyone chuckled.

"Stupid, tell us! Where were you?"
Praga shouted.

"Chill guys, I will. Actually..."

"Actually?" Everyone chorused eagerly, pissing me off.

"Let me speak, you meanies!" I yelled and they looked at me sheepishly.

"Actually, when Aishu and Shruthi left, I went to the restroom. And when I entered it, I found it different. But at the same time, it felt similar. As I scanned it, I saw a boy coming from one of the doors. Then..."

"Oh my god!!! Was it a boys' restroom???" Everyone shrieked with extreme horror. Anjana, who was drinking water that time, choked.

I nodded and lo! Their shock was replaced with peals of laughter. They laughed their heads off while I stood seeing them laughing.

"Priya, seems like you enjoyed your visit." Shruthi said in between her laughter. Everyone laughed again.

But to be honest, I did enjoy going there. I mean, I was never been to one and I felt excited.

"Yessss... It was so fun. A boy was there already and you must have seen his expression when I entered there. Gosh,! It was priceless!" I squealed.

We all laughed together when Praga interrupted, "Did you see only the expressions or something else?"

My eyes widened and they laughed again hysterically. I shook my head and sat down in my place. The laughter slowly died as our chemistry mam came inside the room.

I couldn't focus on the class. I know that I didn't spill the beans fully to them. But I don't know how will they take it.

Actually when I came out of the restroom, I saw Arvind at the door.

I was horrified seeing him there because I was afraid that he might tell this to everyone. I turned my head and started walking without looking at him.

"Priya, stop." His words stopped me as I slowly turned.

"Am sorry Priya. What happened with you was unfortunate. This was meant for someone else but you fell into the trap. I apologise Priya. Am really sorry."

He said everything in a go making me gasp. So it was a plan of his.

"Why did you plan this for someone else? It is wrong dude. I know that I don't know you and I don't have any rights to advice you but please don't do this again. And yeah, I am not upset. That was fun tho. Thank you!"

I saw his amused face. As I was about to go away from there, I heard him saying that and I stood shocked.

"It was for Aishwarya" he said.

"Okay everyone. Will see you all tomorrow." Chemistry mam's voice broke my trance.

I don't know what to do. Should I reveal or should I hide?

"So, how's your college? Even if you don't like it, you don't have any option. So at least now, start focusing on your studies and stop dreaming about film making."

As soon as I entered my home, dad's voice welcomed me.

I am so frustrated. I am not able to focus on anything as for now and engineering is a far thing. Two weeks have been completed since the college began and I am struggling to adapt to it.

Well, the college is good. Everything seems to be good but the thing is, am not able to accept it. I don't know why. 2weeks of college and yet I feel I don't have anyone as my friend. I do talk to the boys in the class but... Okay. May be it takes time.

I am puzzled that whether will I be able to manage this chaotic mess which am entangled into. I know that I could not tangle from this. Managing is the only option which dad gave me.

"Here, am speaking to you and you're busy in your own thoughts. Today's generation has no manners. If your mom had been here with us, she would have moulded you well." He continued speaking.

With the mere mention of my late mom, I felt my eyes becoming moist. She would have encouraged me to pursue my passion. But fate doesn't want me to happy and it snatched my mom.

I just ignored my dad and walked past him to my room and closed the door with a bang.

"Vijayyyy!! What do you think about yourself? You're becoming a spoilt brat day by day!!"

I heard his high-pitched screams from downstairs.

I wore my headphones and slumped down on my bed. Only music and sleep can be my solace for now.

I tried to sleep, but I couldn't. I feel a void. It has been ages since I had slept well. Life has been not too kind. Losing my mom was a major fall for me. I could very well remember as a 10 year old boy, when I saw my mother lifeless, all I could do was to cry. That time, I had Vaibhavi with me. 8 years elder to me, she showered all of her love. She was there with me through my thick and thin. But mom's place is irreplaceable. She made me smile. She took care of me like mom. She was the one who saved me from dad's wrath. She showered me her unconditional love on me. But the void of mom was still there then. Vaibhavi was there with me to share my feelings. That was a solace to me.

As I had already said, fate always snatches my happiness. First mom, then Vaibhavi. Vaibhavi went missing all of a sudden, 3 years back. Dad was at his best in his screaming skills then. He tried to find her but in vain. That was another major fall which I had. She left me. Even after knowing what she means to me, she left. And then I became lonely and the void grew bigger and bigger. I felt myself declining. I don't know where am leading to. I had lost my interest in everything.

At one point of time, I realised that only "loneliness abides".

I got up from my bed. It was another day, another morning. I was in my college, sitting under a tree. There was still half an hour for the class. I gazed at my surroundings. It was a serene morning. But I felt myself in chaos. I don't feel like concentrating in anything. I just want to run away. From my dad, college and my life.

Sigh. I came out of my thoughts. I felt a sudden urge and I went to a secluded corner of my college.

I filled my lungs with the smoke. This is what I need now. As I was inhaling some more smoke in my lungs, I felt a hand on my shoulder.

Before I could turn, I heard a voice.

"Bro, this is not cool!"

Arvind

"It was for Aishwarya" When I revealed, I found priya's face rather calm than shocked.

She looked at me keenly. Suddenly, she laughed. She laughed hard.

I was taken aback for a second. What is there so funny in this to laugh?

"Bro, do you think that Aishu would have been shocked and crying if she had faced this? Never. She would have enjoyed the visit to the Boy's restroom. Lol. Poor you."

She said laughing. I was like shocked beyond words.

This was an utter failure. Probably I should not have revealed this to her. Shit. I felt bad for Priya hence I blurted out all these to her. Damn.

"Bro.. You look horrible with his expression. Chill. Anyways you did right by saying out the truth. I liked it." She said to me dramatically making me smile.

"Cool! So friends?" She asked me.

"Yo bro!" I extended my hand for a HiFi and she joined in.

"Yo yo bro!"

Finally, an another friend. I do find her sportive and fun loving. Well, am happy!! How ironical?! I was planning a revenge but got a friend instead. Life is incredible.

Maddy

"Dude.. What the hell is this? I just despise this place!"  My friend yelled loudly.

I was stuffing my mouth with some sandwich then.

"Yaar, Maddy!! I am speaking to you!! We thought that this college will be so fun. But this is not which we thought of. This is so boring!! Damn it. And look at you, you're happily munching. Unbelievable!!"

He said with a scorn. I wiped off my mouth and dusted my hands.

"Can we run away from here?"  I asked him looking at him.

His eyes widened and looked at me horrified.

"Have you become mad?? How can we? I mean, we will e caught!" He exclaimed.

"If you don't have the guts to do what do you want, then why the f you were shouting at me? Dumbo!" I shot at him and he nodded.

"Okay fine! Am going to my class now. See you. And haan, don't buy this sandwich again for lunch. Buy something spicy, okay?" I told him.

"He doesn't buy food on his own money and see he is ordering me!" I heard him cursing me under his breath.

"That's why friends are for! Bubye dude!" I told him with a wink and went from there.

"Madhubalakrishnan! Who's madhubalakrishnan?"

The professor was shouting at the top of his lungs. I was a bit late to the class after break and here, he is cooing my name! Gah! Now, am going to die.

"Excuse me, Sir. I am Maddy." I said.

He looked at me as if am an alien. He scanned me from top to bottom and checked the attendance list.

"There's no Maddy in this class. I don't know from where people like you come. I am shouting like a mad for some random madhubalakrishnan , and you come and say that you're Maddy, intruding the class all of a sudden." He shouted. The class was trying to act calm. Grr.

"Sir, Am madhubalakrishnan." I said. 

"Idiot!! Where had you been? Till now, I was shouting your name and you were saying that you're Maddy! God! Why are you torturing me with this mad boy in the morning? You and your short names. Do you think that you're actor Madhavan that you call yourself Maddy? Come inside. This is the last warning. Don't dare to call yourself Maddy and don't dare to be late again." He finished his long speech.

As soon as he finished his speech, the whole class roared into laughter.

I was like WTF. Has the professor seen his reflection in the mirror? He and his stupid low class comedies.

I went inside the class and as I was about to take my seat,

"Madhavan... Lol! You look like a gorilla.. Lmao!"

Raghav said and the other boys laughed loud.

"Haan haan, you're actor Shahid Kapoor right? First look at your face, YLLPFD." I said and sat on my seat.

"What does that mean?" Everyone asked me with curiosity. I smiled slyly.

"You Look Like a Pig From the Drains." I said earning glares from everyone.

"How lame!?" Raghav exclaimed and turned away.

"Class, take down the topics for your upcoming test." Sir said.

I was taking down when I felt a thing hitting me on my head. I was startled. I saw what it was. It was a pen. I looked around and I saw a group of girls laughing silently. How dare they throw things at me? I will take my revenge soon.

Afterwards, the teacher left the class. I immediately jumped into action.

I took a book and was about to throw when Adi asked me water. I gave my bottle to him and threw the book aiming at a girl from the gang. It fell on her with a hard blow and she shrieked.

"Maddy! I asked for water and you're giving me a book!! Idiot! " Adi yelled.

Oh wait! What!? I had thrown the water bottle full of water at her?! Shit! That must have hurt bad!! I immediately looked at the gang of girls who were surrounding the girl.

"Anju, are you okay? Gosh! " I heard them screaming.

This day is becoming even more worse.
