"Lily.Don't worry college is gonna be so much fun." I reassured her. "Pony you don't understand! You have the perfect life! You have a great girlfriend, you're smart and going to your dream college and you have great things ahead for you!" I didn't know what to respond with. She summed it up pretty well... "Lily you have great things ahead for you too!" "Like what?" "You're funny, talented, seriously I've never met a girl as caring and funny as you and you can act, sing, dance, play every single instrument and you're so fun to be around." I told her and I mean every single word I said. She's amazing and any guy would be lucky to have her as a girlfriend. "You're just saying that Ponyboy" "No I'm not. You're amazing and so what if you aren't good at school? You're able to do so many amazing things." "I'm not that good" "Yes you are! Stop tearing yourself down. You have a perfect life!" She started tearing up after I said that. "L-Lily what's wrong?" "I don't have a perfect life. To start with we're greasers and mom and dad died!" "That doesn't matter. The perfect life is finding something you love to do and you do it no matter what anyone says. So what if you're not the best or the smartest? You found things that you love to do and you don't let anyone tear you down! You're a strong, brave, loving, caring and intelligent girl. That right there is the perfect life." "Y-You really think I'm all that?" I laughed a little and smiled "Of course I do Lil, I love you and you're amazing. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. You do you... don't do anyone else though" I said with a smirk and she laughed and playfully hit me in the shoulder. "Same goes for you Pone, I love you." "I love you too." I hugged her and kissed her on the cheek. I guess I have a perfect life too.
