"Oh my gosh. I have to get surgery today", I told Angie on the phone at like 4:30am. "Omg girl. You want me to come", Angie said. "Sure. If you really want too", I told her. "Okay. Well I will see you after surgery. I wish you the best wishes and hope you make it through surgery", she told me. "Aww thanks. See you later", I said.

I pressed end and got out of bed. Nate was still asleep in the other bed. So I got dressed quietly. I put my swimming outfit on, it was my team shirt, sweats, and my slides. I grabbed my crutches and then I went to wake him up.

"Babe. Get up". "Okay, I will. I guess". "Haha really".

So I hop of my crutches to the kitchen. Nate wakes up and come over little after me. He came over and gave me a hug.

After breakfast, we went to get in the car. It was like 5:30am. But I had to get surgery done early in the morning.

My mom and dad were in cause they wanted to make sure everything was okay.

My dad drove Mom, Nate, and I to the hospital. Nate helped me get out. So we walked inside (well I hopped inside in my crutches). My mom put my name in and then she sat down beside Dad and I. I was sitting beside Nate. We were talking for a while about all different stuff. And then a nurse came out and said, "Jessica Barnes". So Nate helped me up and then I hopped into the room.

So Nate and Mom sat in the chairs beside the doctor bed.

So she checked my weight, my growth and such.

Nurse Sara said, "Dr. Martin will be right with you".

A couple minutes later. He came in. He had a hospital bed right outside the room. So Nate helped me to the hospital bed and he also helped me get in it. "I love you babe". He gave me a kiss and helped my hand. So after I went into the surgery area, my mom went back to the waiting room with my dad.

So they pulled me into one of the surgery rooms.

And then it started..................

They had to cut my leg open and then they had to replace the bone. And then they had to put it all back together.

3 hours later

So they push me back into my room where I will be staying for a night or so. Nate will be staying with me as well.

So my parents came in after they got me settled in the room.

"Hey Jess. How you feeling", asked my mother. "Good but I am in a lot of pain", i told her. "Well yeah. It will be in pain for a while", she told me. "Yeah. I figured that. But I have you guys and Nate", I said. Just then, my mom walked over and gave Nate a hug. "Thank you", she told him. "Your daughter is amazing", he told her. "And you are too", she said to him.

Angie, Olivia, Chloe, Lainey, Chelsea, and some of Nate's friends came to the room. They all wanted to check on me. Angie, Chloe, Olivia, and Lainey got me a care package and a card. I gave them a hug from the bed. Nate's friends got me candy and cards. Then Nate's parents came in to check on me as well. "I want to thank all of you too come and check on me. Thank you for the gifts and cards. Your gifts will be sent soon. I love you guys", I told all of them. "Your welcome", I heard from most of them.

So then at around 11 or so. Dr. Martin comes in. "I have some good news for you Jessica".
"What is the good news", I asked him. "The doctors said and I said that you are able to go home tonight", he said. I was screaming. "Yay!" Nate was too. Nate gave me a hug and kiss.

His parents and my parents were happy as well.

At 6:30, the nurses came and got me. They put me in a hospital wheelchair. The nurses pushed me down the hallway. Nate was walking beside me.
