Avyudaya was hoping for the best after revealing the matter to Arjun. She had seen the glimpse of confidence in his eyes to capture the matter in his favour. Next evening she was waiting for him to arrive with the news of wrapping up the issue for a good.

He returned home, came to their room, but his face had a different kind of expression.

"What happened, Arjun? Did you put that into an end?" She went towards him as soon as he entered in.

"Why are you silent? I have asked something, and your silent is conveying something wrong to me," she followed him when he walked ahead to remove his watch and to place that on dressing table.

"Actually, I confronted them. They even confessed their wrongdoings," choosing a few words, he looked into her eyes.

"Then, what? Why did become silent again? You stepped yourself out of that trap, didn't you?" A doubt of her hope being destroyed was evident in her voice.

"Actually, it's not. I didn't," he replied after a short pause.

"Why, Arjun? Why did you not?" Her voice raised out of restlessness.

"Please, calm down, Subhi. Let me explain. After confessing they apologized to me, and asked for another chance," he made her sit on couch, making his grip a little strong on her since she was unwilling to make any movement.

"You even agreed for that! How could you? Traitors can never mend their ways. Try to understand this," her gasping was indicating about what was going inside her.

"Don't stress yourself this much. They were sounding too genuine to get another chance. I know how to judge people and deal with them. Trust me, Subhi. You trust me, don't you?" Cupping her cheeks, he made her taking a closer view of his face, especially of his eyes.

"To be honest, I too wanted to give a performance which will relive the essence of those old days of my career, gaining a huge amount of appreciation for me. I want to rectify my track record which has been disturbed due to that treacherous act. Somehow, I have taken this risk for myself," he conveyed his words, making those reach to the core of her heart.

"Now, why you became silent? I am confident enough to handle everything," he lifted her chin since she lowered her eyes.

"I trust you, but...........," her eyes didn't meet his till that time.

"You won't lose me, I promise. I trust the strength of our love," he pecked her hairline making her happy to give a smile.

Hugging each other, they conveyed many unsaid words of promises for upcoming future.
