No POV

The next morning, Naruto woke up and saw the large patch of red in front of him.

He smiled, not wanting to wake him up, and just laid there. Watching the boy he helped. He then looked out the window and saw that it was almost 9. He knew he had to prepare to train Sakura, so he knew he would have to wake up Gaara. He really didn't want to disturb him. But he knew, if Gaara's siblings knew Gaara was able to sleep, they would tell the Hokage and their father. So he knew he had to wake up the sleeping boy.

Oh just do it! But he hasn't slept in so long. So? He can sleep when you leave! Wake him up or you'll be late! Fine. Naruto then shook Gaara's pale body, waking him up.

As he stirred, he rolled over to face Naruto. "Hi Naruto. Thank you so much." He then snuggled his head into Naruto's chest as he hugged him. He was still half asleep, so when he realized what he had just done, he pulled himself away from Naruto and started blushing furiously. "Hahaha, I don't know what's wrong with me. Maybe I have a fever or something?"

"Gaara, it's okay. I already know what that blush means. And i do admit, its very cute. Now, we should go get ready. I have to go teach my ex teammate. She wants to be less useless and I want her to be able to put up some kind of fight and not end up dead. Because, honestly, i doubt she'd survive the chunin exams at her current skill level. So, do you want to bathe first? I could cook while your in." Naruto finished, liking that he changed the subject before things got to awkward.

Gaara was happy about this too and nodded as he headed to the bathroom, still blushing and trying to figure out when he started liking the blonde he had only just met. Naruto headed down to the kitchen in the mean time, to prepare food.

TIME SKIP

Gaara had gotten out of the shower, him and Naruto ate and then Naruto took a shower. While Naruto was in the shower, Gaara spoke with Shukaku. Shukaku, what is this feeling i keep having whenever i think of Naruto? And why can't I stop thinking about him? Is something wrong with me? No Gaara. Nothing is wrong with you. In fact, its the most normal emotion you have ever felt. It's the emotion connected to that word on your forehead. What you're feeling is love. No that's impossible. I am unable to love. Well it's not so impossible anymore. After this revelation, he had no time to dwell because Naruto was out of the shower and his face was almost as red as his hair at what he saw.

He saw Naruto dripping water. He saw Naruto's porcelain body and how thin he was and he was just so breathe taking that Gaara forgot to breath. "Gaara, i have to go now. You can come along if you want, though i think you should explore town instead. And hang out with your siblings."

Gaara gave Naruto a nod and watched as he tossed on some clothes and left. God he's hot.

Training ground 44

Sakura got there early to find out why he had chosen that specific training ground and immediately realized the reason. He's trying to kill me as payback for all of the times i was mean to him. I mean, the sign literally says 'Forest of Death'! But then again, he seemed so sincere. I'll wait and see what he plans. Yeah. I can take whatever he throws at me.

"Sakura, I see that you arrived early. Good. Now, before we start, i am going to give you some weights. These will help build your strength and stamina and make sure that your speed grows faster as well." Naruto said as he arrived. He then handed her the afore mentioned weights, which she nearly dropped.

She was shocked at how heavy they were when Naruto held them like they were a single pound. She knew this would work so she took his word for it and started putting the weights on her ankles and wrists.

By the time she finished, she wanted to fall to the ground. But instead, Naruto said, "Now I want you to start jogging into the forest. I will stay right next to you as you jog so just focus on the jogging. I'll take care of anything else that comes along for now. Alright? Now start." And with that, Sakura started to jog and naruto power walked beside her. Little did she know, Naruto cast a jutsu before they started to make a single hour seem like 100 days. Sakura, this will be the longest hour of your life. But when we finish today, you will be far from useless in battle. You're damn right about that. Though, the fact that she almost dropped the 20 Pounds means we have a lot of work to do before she's strong enough for the usual weights. And you're gonna have to make new ones since you gave the old ones to Gai and Lee. Yeah yeah. I know. Lets just have some fun.

TIME SKIP

As they continued to go, Sakura felt the weights getting lighter. But soon, she was panting for breathe. When she checked to see what time it was, she was shocked to see that the time had barely even moved! Did he cast a genjutsu on me or something? "Or something!" Naruto yelled from his spot killing a beast. Sakura was shocked. Did he hear my thoughts? "Yes!" He yelled as he jogged back over.

Sakura was getting distracted, so she yelled, "Stop distracting me and stay outta my head!" Naruto just nodded and continued forward, back at Sakura's side.

TIME SKIP

This time, Sakura just kept jogging, not even stopping to check the sun's position. She knew if she had, it would have barely moved and she would have just gotten angry beyond anything she knew. She did take a few breaks as she went, but she kept pushing herself as much as possible. At some point, jogging with the weights became easy, so Naruto gave her a new thing of them.

When Naruto had given her the weights, it was on day 10 of the 100 day hour. Every 10 days from that point, he would give her heavier weights. So by the time day 100 came, she was on 220 pound weights.

Finally, he told her that was enough jogging for the day and she stopped and started panting. She had a smile, pleased with herself. She then reached to take off the weights, but Naruto quickly said, "Sakura, keep the weights on. I'll give you heavier weights tomorrow. Now, its time to have you practice your ninjutsu. Specifically, i am going to teach you medical ninjutsu. I don't have expert level knowledge of it, but i know above average levels and can teach you it. Because your specialty is clearly genjutsu, we need to help you grow your chakra reserves, and the best way to do that is through medical ninjutsu.

Meanwhile in the Markets of Konoha

Gaara's siblings had left for the market area before he was awake, so he decided to catch up but stay hidden. He took in the sights as he walked, hating the people but loving the views.

TIME SKIP

Forest of Death

Naruto had been teaching Sakura medical ninjutsu for the past hour, equal to another 100 day and said, "Sakura, i believe this is a good time to take a break and go eat. Lets head to that barbeque shop. Maybe we can pick up Sasuke on the way there."

Sakura squealed at the idea so Naruto sighed. Knowing he was about to crush her dream, he braced himself and said, "You know, Sakura, Sasuke is gay."

Sakura's face crumbled. She then started getting angry and was ready to punch Naruto, but put her hand down and thought about how Sasuke had been acting. She then felt tears fall from her eyes as she said, "He has a crush on you. Doesn't he." She didn't really ask, but Naruto nodded in response anyways.

Then he said, "I don't like him back though. I think i'm starting to far for this boy from Suna. He came here for the chunin exams and it's my job to watch over him and his siblings while he's here. When you see him, you'll understand why i'm falling for him. We should probably also pick up those sand siblings before going for lunch. And remember, keep your weights hidden. No one can know i'm teaching you."

They then left the Area, heading into town. Naruto soon picked up on the chakra signatures of the sand siblings and Sasuke all in the same place and began to make his way to them at a quickened pace. Quickly releasing the jutsu that causes a day to feel like a year.

Back to the Sand Siblings

Suddenly, his siblings stopped walking and started picking on a little kid. This got Gaara angry, so he was about to tell them to stop and to leave the kid alone, but someone else did before he could. The person had thrown a pebble from a tree branch above.

Gaara hadn't sensed the boy, so seeing this interruption, he stayed out of site to continue watching. The boy then jumped down from the tree and said, "Picking on defenceless kids? How low are you? Or are you compensating for something?" The raven haired boy glanced down at Kankuro's covered member and then looked back at his face saying, "Yup, you're definitely compensating."

Kankuro's face grew an angry shade of red as he dropped the kid he had been read to strangle and began to walk forwards. Gaara decided this was a good time to jump in, so he used his sand to grab his brother's foot and dangled him in the air as he walked out of the shadows.

Kankuro's face suddenly paled and he began to plead for his life. Then Gaara looked to Sasuke and asked, "What's your name?"

Sasuke, being in serious mode said, "Sasuke Uchiha. And you?"

Gaara kept his face as cold as possible and said, "Gaara no Sabaku."

As they began to glare at one another, not fully understanding why, a yellow blur jumped between them. Gaara and Sasuke noticed who this blur was at the same time, and both began to blush. They then both said his name in unison, "Naruto."

Naruto looked between the two, then noticed Gaara's brother being held in the air by sand, he sighed and said, "Gaara, put your brother down. And both of you, stop this glaring contest. We're all gonna go get some barbeque."

Gaara's blush deepened as he noticed he still held his brother in the air, and he set him down. This earned a shocked stair from both the sister and brother. And Sasuke just nodded, only to then realize Sakura's presence. This just made him realize, "Naruto, you know these people?"

Then Sasuke noticed the blush on the red head's cheeks and saddened. The boy had a crush on Naruto as well, and he was most likely new in Naruto's life. Meaning he had more of a chance in making Naruto fall for him.

Naruto then nodded and said, "It's my mission to watch them while they are here for the chunin exams. They're the ones i'm watching in the Uchiha compound that you offered."

Sasuke nearly smack himself upside the head when he remembered.

Flashback

Sasuke had been called to the hokage's office alone. And the hokage then said, "Sasuke, when Naruto comes back, he's going to be taking care of a few people. But he'll need a place more suitable for guests than his own apartment. Would you allow the use of the compound?"

Sasuke had only processed Naruto's name before he started nodding. He hadn't heard anything besides 'Naruto', 'Compound', and 'Place to stay'.

Flashback end

Coming back to the now, he realized he should have listened. Because now his only competition for Naruto's affection was living with him.

Suddenly, he remembered the presence of Sakura. He was shocked to notice she wasn't hanging off his arm, basically begging for attention. So he looked at her and noticed she had red slightly rimming her eyes. Sasuke quickly put two and two together and realized that Naruto must have told Sakura that he doesn't swing that way.

He felt bad for being the reason for a girl's tears, but knew it would have happened one day or another. Better now than never.

Naruto then spoke up, "So, we all gonna have barbeque or what?"

Everyone in the area nodded and followed as Naruto started walking to the shop so often used by the rookies.

As they ate, Naruto said, "So, have you all been properly introduced?"

They all shook their heads, so Naruto said, "Alright. Sasuke, Sakura, this is Temari, Kankuro, and Gaara no Sabaku. They are the children of the current kazekage. Temari, Kankuro, Gaara, this is Sasuke and Sakura. They were my genin team 2 Days ago, before i moved up the ranks. Now, lets all eat."

They all nodded at each other as a greeting, then dug into the barbeque freshly cooked in front of them.

TIME SKIP

As they all finished the meal, Temari and Kankuro got up and said their thanks before leaving. Sakura passed a note over to Naruto before doing the same. Finally, only Gaara, Sasuke, and Naruto were left in the booth.

Naruto quickly read the note from Sakura that said, 'I'm going to hang out with Ino for a bit while you deal with the boys crushing on you. And i totally get why your starting to fall for Gaara. He is seriously hot! Good luck with all of that. Come get me when your free again so we can continue practicing, Sensei. -Sakura'

After he finished, he stuffed the note in a pocket and took a look at the two remaining boys. Naruto had to sit next to Sasuke because each side could only hold 3 people, but after everyone left, he didn't move to sit next to Gaara. He preferred facing the boy.

Finally, the silence was broken as Sasuke said, "So, Gaara, do you have a crush on Naruto over here?"

Gaara looked bewildered by the comment, and Naruto just started laughing. When he noticed Gaara staring, Naruto turned to Sasuke and said, "Like you have any place to talk Sasu-gay. And as i already told you, i'll lile who i'll like. Not quite sure who that'll be yet, but we both know it won't be you. You'll find someone, it just won't be me."

Sasuke's face crumbled to pieces as he heard Naruto tell him once again that he has no chance with him. He then nodded and before the tears could start to fall again, he whispered a goodbye and stood. Naruto gave him a contemplative look then said, "Alright Sasuke. I'll see you later. I wanna have a conversation with you about something."

Sasuke then nodded as he left. Anyone could see the tears pouring down his face.

Gaara then gave Naruto a questioning look. So Naruto said, "He has had a crush on me for awhile, but he only realized it after i showed my true self. I consider him like a brother though. I told him this yesterday and he ran away in tears. I hate breaking his heart like this, but i know i'll never see him as more than a brother. I figure it best to crush his feelings now rather than let them fester. The rejection would only hurt more that way."

Gaara quickly noticed the sad look on Naruto's face and asked, "Do you plan on taking him with us? And what about that pinkette?"

Naruto looked at Gaara and said, 'I haven't decided yet. Sasuke's like a brother and Sakura is currently my student. They are both pretty much family. But i don't want to make them abandon the village. Sasuke has a goal and Sakura has a family. I just, i don't know what i should do. What about you? Are you going to take your siblings along?"

Gaara seemed to consider this for a moment, then said, "I'm still thinking about it. I think i'll make my decision depending on their reaction to me being able to sleep. Maybe you could do something similar with them as a test."

Naruto nodded and said, "I could probably use the fact that i'm a jinchuriki as their test, since i never told them."

They both nodded to each other and stood up. Naruto then paid the bill for the both of them and they both left the shop. Gaara seemed to lose his blush as he spoke of his family, but regained it as Naruto petted his hair as they walked. Then Naruto said, "Let's go talk to your siblings together. If they end up trying to tell your father that someone messed with your seal, i should be there to help hold them down. But if they decide to not tell him and are happy for you, then i want to be there to help explain the plan. Then i'll go to Sakura to continue training her and test her then. And after that, i'll go to Sasuke's mansion and test him. When i finish with that, i'll probably be exhausted, so i'll head to bed."

Gaara nodded, trying to block out the image that popped into his head of Naruto laying in bed, going to sleep. Then they headed to where they sensed Temari and Kankuro's chakra coming from.
