"I wasted the little seconds I had to let him know."

His frail body shots up with a gasp. He had it again. This memory?.. He could not recollect where it was from.. the words caused a strong shutter to ripple through his already trembling body. Monotonously, he swam past the pool of bed duvet and got up to solemnly sit on the bench across the wooden piano.

The dull chords that rung underneath his overworked fingers hushed against a wind of silent, and before he could fully recall, he remembered he was alone. Alone here with nothing to win, and excruciatingly nothing to loose either.

Weak hums shakily escaped his dried lips and he bowed his head once more, repeating the tune from underneath his half exposed hands. He held them above the worn down keys only for them to tremble reluctantly. This melody.. he kept repeating it over and over. It kept feeling as if it was a big part of his life. His amateur knowledge of playing the keys caused him to focus on the words again. If he only could remember who had told them to him, that could help slowly piece those missing pieces he had been experiencing more of.

His days felt like a breeze compared to those long summer Busan days. He could still hear the soft roaring of the waves tingling into his senses as he sat barefoot by the shore. He would turn to her see her there and remembered the reason why he kept going back there. She held the time around him, as he held her against his arms.

This time, he couldn't remembrance even the lines that formed against her forehead as time went on. Or the countless times she would susurrate his name against the radiating moonlight that washed over the two of them as they stayed up.
